After Kakaji interrupting Sneha and Pranavs conversation, the scene moves to Sneha in deep thoughts about Chapter and his so called Ustaad whilst stirring the pot on the cooker. The scene moves to Chapter being in deep thoughts sitting on the swing thinking about the same thing and how his relationship with Kakaji is becoming a problem for Sneha and Pranav. It goes back to sneha in the kitchen, where she is burning the food, and then Bhavna comes in and gives her a lecture saying that Sneha should have called Bhavna to make the food and if she(Bhavna) doesn't make food then she'll get fat. She keeps caling sneha but she doesn't react. Then sneha suddenly asks her why she came into the kitchen as she told her she shouldn't. Then Bhavna asks what has happened to her(sneha) even though she gave such a long baashan(lecture). Then Sneha says that she is worried about Pranav and Kakaji's relationship about Chapter being an orphan or not. Bhavna says that Pranav must be teasing you but in response sneha says that Pranav is really serious about how he feels about Chapter. Sneha tells Bhavna that Pranav was about to tell her something but Kakaji interrupted.
The scene goes to Chapter with his deep thoughts. Amar catches sight of him being worried and goes to him. He asks him rhetorically about what happened about Pranavs reunion party. But Chapter gets annoyed and asks him why he is throwing salt on his wounds. Amar tries to act like he sympathises with Chapter by putting his arm round him but Chapter shakes his arm off. Amar then tells him that he has a father that doesn't like to see his face and a ustaad that is of no use. He gets irritated and tells Amar not to say anything bad about his Ustaad. Amar goes and then Chapter is sad and says that why doesnt Ustaad say the truth about his relationship.
Everyone is waiting for Karan and Sapna to come from the airport. Karan comes in and asks whether sneha has come yet as her plane had landed to hours ago. She had not come. Then she walks in, in a strut, and she says she is tired and wants to go in her room. Bhavna tells her to sit with them but she repeats what she said. She says that if she(sapna talking about herself) can come back from America on her own then she can go to her room on her own.
The kids go to Sapna in her room and they say how much they missed her, but she just talks to them rudely and tells them to go away. Chapter says that he didn't come to her to irritate her but he came to set her mood right. She shouts at them and tells them to go. Ma and Karan come in. Ma wants to give Prasad but she misunderstands and says that she(Ma) is giving out sweets on the event of her fathers death. Karan shouts at her because she spoke so rudely to his mother.
The kids go to report sapna to their mums. Ma stops them and tells them that this would make everyone stop speaking to Sapna which would then make the argument worse which would lead to the house breaking up.
Karan tells Sapna that she is acting like a arrogant child. But she says that he wouldn't understand. Karan tells her that his dad has died recently. But she says that at least Bapuji didnt die in sadness and that her dad died as patient number 13 because they didnt know his name.She then shows him a letter from her dad addressed to her to show him why she is so angry,
Sneha, Bhavna and Jyoti are in the kitchen . Jyoti is sitting on the table trying to cut something( an apple i think) but it is not cutting it. She says that nowadays knives are false too. Her eyese suddenly go wide and he gets into he future telling mode. Sneha and Bhavna notice this and then when she comes out of this mode , sneha asks her whether the child will be a boy or a girl referring to Bhavna's child. But jyoti doesnt reply and just leaves the room. Sh emeets Kakaji and he asks her whether she has seen a sapna(dream) again. But she says no. He recognised from her face that she is worried about something. He asks her to tell him. She tells him that she couldnt believe what she saw and that their family is seperating and is being destroyed.
Sapna is telling Karan about the letter whilst he is reading it. She tells him that he father was alone, no one was there for his support. She tells him that she left her dad for the peace of this house and that is why she is getting punished today. The scene moves to Bapuji trying to convince Jyoti that the family cannot break apart because everyone has sacrificed for the family and that his family cannot break that easily. Sapna says that all property and money was on her name and she had misunderstood him all that time. She is crying. Karan takes her in his arms and tells her to forget everything but as soon as he says that they break apart and then asks him how she can forget about her dad if he still hasnt forgot about his fathers death. She says her dad dies in pain infront of her eyes and she couldnt even command his last wish because she thought that his family wouldnt like her to speak to him. And for this reason she will not forgive anyone. Whilst Kakaji is sayin that this house has learnt to forget and forgive. He says that the house canno break if the bahu's are together but the bahu's of this house are like sisters. The scene moves back to Sapna where she says that she treated her bhabhi's like sisters but they didnt even try to find out how she felt. From this she realised that apne were apne and outsiders were outsiders. She says that she can't live with his family anymore. Karan is shocked, he drops the letter on the floor.
