DOTW: TKTG- PATEHETIC CREATIVITY

I have followed the serial since inception as I found it humorous and silly at times but to a little extent close to reality, I mean oppressed bahu's and domineering in-laws etc.....etc. Thus far the tactics by MLS, have been dirty and underhanded but now things are definately out-of-hand and the serial is losing its essence. Here's my views on this:

*MLS is faking his death & someone in the shah family is helping him. Recall- when maa mentioned that amar (the idiot) has become just like him, he told her that he will sort everything out..........maybe that's when he got the filthy idea to fake his death. The reason being that he had hoped by his going away, his sons would prove their worth but to his dismay he found the they are useless and cannot function without him, Also if he really died, why wasn't mamaji, the bahu's in-laws, and the stammering goat (sorry, he is too annoying to remeber his name), athe the lady who runs the orphange.

* His entire plot is to turn the entire family against Sneha, as he knows she is capable and strong-willed and the strength of the women in the house, with her gone, its easy to manipulate the others. Remember when he faked his heart-attack to blame Sneha and it almost worked. As we have seen, the family is already turning against her and this time ,maybe the ladies will not support her.

My peeves about the serial

* the creatives or should I say non creatives have taken this too far, dead or alive nothing can redeem MLS or the men in the house.

* The women are so-called graduates but none of them use their brains, with the exception of Sneha. She is a little irritating at times but she has good intentions, the others are doubtful.

* Sneha should leave the house, and I think she will based on the statement she made yesterday that if she was thrown out she would never come back.

* Finally, I have yet to see a serial that does not revolve around men, a serial that shows the strength, self respect of women and their survival in this world and yet they still maintain their virtues and culture. Is is not ironic that men can decieve so much, yet they are looked upon..........MLS is a typical example, he character is a disgrace, yet is his honoured. What good has he done for his sons..........nothing...........they are absolute weaklings!.

If the so-called creative what to redeem the show...........the men are beyond redemption, except maybe pranav............and if the other women in the house have any self respect, they would walk out and make a life for themselves. Then the mighty mls should go out and recruit new wives for his sons and may he get the "kaveri/chandi type bahus from Saat phere"...............girls who have no self worth or respect and ones who are intent breaking up the homes instead of keeping the families together.

The serial does great injustice to females, think about, supposing maa had done all the tactics that mls has done, would she be forgiven???. Futhermore, why are the women always crying in every serial, its so annoying, tears/glycerine has never helped anyone.

* creatives........... we don't want tears/glycerine we strong determined women. Why is it that good women are tortured to no end and finally when they catch a wake-up they turn into the Durga/Kali form, that is so predictable, why can't they show someone who faces her challenges head on, some one who is not a coward, weakling of glycerine factory. The character that comes to mind is Saloni, she faces her obstacles head on...........without changing her personality but most of all she stands by thet principles, though she is a bit naive and too trusting for her own good at times.

What are your views

absolutely true. an average,educated indian woman of today is not the rona-dhona type. she is breaking out of the mould of silently submitting to asserting while adapting. that seems to go over the heads of these creative heads. i had expected them to show how all the women while coming together would make the house better, but it seems demanding some respect means becoming demoralised. its really too demeaning.

This serial was atleast a little bit interesting with the Amit track.. but goody-goody bahu Sneha had to ruin that too. Well actually the writers did.

I loved this serial till a few weeks ago. I continue to watch it in the hope that the scriptwriter will give some crditbility to the characters.

Father putting family thru hell was unbelievable. 50 crore rupee ranson was a joke. Mansukhbhai was a dictator and in his so called fake death still runs the show.

I like the female characters. Each one different and intelligent in some way or the other. But the sons who seem to have no work, hang around the house and push their wives around! Who is writing the story? Obviously someone who does not give any credit to those who continue to watch, and those who keep on hoping that it will get better.

i completely agree with u...i have followed this serial since start and have always watched it...( i never continue to watch ne serial coz after soem time they become unbrearable to me like KS 😆 ) but this is just the height!! its completely dragiin....the story is goin round n round n round agn....if the creatives can do one thing "sane" for this serial not to loose its touch is tht KEEP THE BAHUS TOGETHER plzzz plzzzzz plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz dont let the bahus turn against sneha which i think is prolli gonna happen now...this drama was so diff n kool coz the bahus always supooreteed each other, plz keep it tht way!!

P.S: i think tht the bahus shd slowly realize tht thier good-for-nothing hubbies 🤢 r trying to break them apart....they shd leave the house then for some time and run thier business with flying colors...tht wd be diff n totally awesomeeeeeee

Well said, in my opinion writers have little to zero creativity. I thought this serial had lot of potential but sadly writers/producers chose to continue with same silly women vs man tactics. It is getting boring!!
