The video that I am doing the update off of did not have a recap but I'm sure everyone sort of remembers what happened yesterday. Pretty much the show ended with everyone shocked that Bhavna left home and went to her Maayka.
MSL's room:
Manoj tells MSL that Bhavna left home and went to her Maayka. MSL asks what am I supposed to do about that. Manoj tells MSL that Bhavna wanted him to get medically tested in regards to having a baby, so I wanted to ask you if I should get tested or not. (I swear they are little pansies – can you not make your own decision? There are some decisions you make after talking to your parents and there are some that should stay btw you and your wife idiot! Sorry – just needed to get that out). MSL says that this is your personal problem, you do what you think is right. He also says how long will you hold my finger to do battle in life. ( wow I think Daya's words actually got to him). MSL says if I keep telling you what to do about such small things, then tomorrow, you will ask me what you should eat and how you should live. Manoj says that if a son is in trouble and doesn't ask for his father's opinion then who will he ask for help? MSL says that these days I have stopped giving my opinion, and all I ask is that you do what your heart desires. He also says that after today, there is no need to trouble him with such trivial matters.
In the Living Room:
Daya is on the phone and says BhavnaBeta, what childishness is this? Does anyone leave one's home like this? You should have told me just once what you were thinking and what trouble there was, I would have talked to Manoj. Daya says that she promises Manoj will get his medical test done and she will also tell Manoj that Bhavna will come home only when Manoj gets his tests done.<> Manoj and Amar come in as Daya had called them to her. Daya says yes I called you – I wanted to talk about the argument btw Manoj and Bhavna in regards to the child. Daya says in fact I was just talking to her on the phone. Amar walks into the room further and says – didn't you scold her? Does someone really leave the house over such a meaningless thing? Daya says that Bhavna is not wrong and that she too agrees Manoj should get tested. Amar says why does Manoj have to get tested? Why not Bhavna? Daya says, Bhavna is a doctor herself and she has already gone and gotten tested. Bhavna's reports are normal. Manoj is surprised. Amar says this has never happened in our family before. Daya says a lot of things are happening in this family which never happened before. Daya walks up to Manoj and says that the decision is in your hands. Do you want to waste your precious time or do you want to hold your child in your hands? Think about it – on one side is a happy family and on the other side is a broken family. The decision is in your hands as to what you want.
Pranav's Room:
Pranav finishes a phone call in which his last words were "Khabar to paki hain na?" Sneha comes up to him and says what happened? You weren't tensed before the phone call. Pranav talking philosophically telling Sneha that I know the times of sorrows are short but why do they seem so long? Sneha smiles and tries to cheer him up. Then says, "Isi ka naam Zindagi hain – Thode Khushi Thode Gham" Now will my lovely husband tell me who it was on the phone that has troubled him so much? Pranav says it was the detective telling him that Sharda is in New York and she met her husband.<> Both have hired a really good lawyer to handle their divorce for them. Now no one can stop this house from being ruined. You watch Sneha, as soon as Sharda comes back, she will marry Bapuji.
MSL's room;
(quick note: I think it is funny how Parag calls MSL Banevilal – brother-in-law in Gujju) Parag tells MSL that the detective is going to the limits. Don't know what he thinks of himself, he is asking for more money and has become greedy. Sneha is listening to this conversation from behind the window. MSL says that all he is asking for is money and who doesn't want money? I don't mind paying him more money, but what I want to make sure is that he does our work for us properly after taking our money. Parag says that he is doing his work properly, and has told Pranav everything including that Sharda has met her ex-husband Hiren in America and have even started the process of divorce with a really good lawyer. Sneha gets more curious and worried. Parag says that for that small information, the detective wants 2 lakhs. MSL says give him 2 lakhs and 50,000 and tells Parag to tell the detective to make note of Sharda's every move and tell Pranav those moves as if were being telecasted on a satellite. Sneha is troubled even more.
In the Kitchen:
Sneha tells Jyoti and Sapna that Bapuji has bought out the detective. Sneha says that she doesn't understand why Bapuji is doing all this. Jyoti says you don't have to think of anything Sneha, I'm here, I will think of something and tell you. Jyoti says all we have to do is make Parag talk as he is the only one in this house who knows everything about MSL and his secrets. Sapna says that Parag is not as big of a fool as he seems, he won't tell us anything so easily.<> Jyoti says don't worry, my experience says that if you want to know any secrets in a man's heart, you must use his stomach to get to it. The bahus agree that this is a good idea.
At the Dining Table:
Parag is elated by all the food that the bahus have made for him. The bahus help him along with telling him what he should eat first. Sapna and Sneha make faces behind Parag's back and laugh as Jyoti keeps feeding him what would seem like an army's feast. As he is done, Sneha sits down next to him and goes, Mamaji you were eating the food so lovingly as if no one had fed you food with love before. Parag says what do I tell you. I was brought up in a hostel so the food there was not all that good. Jyoti says that ParagBhai, I don't understand why such a handsome and intelligent man like you has stayed a bachelor till now. Sapna says, Bhabhi, if he casts his love-filled eyes to any girl, there is no way she would say no to him. Parag says are you saying the truth? And the bahus are like of course. Parag says can I really find someone who would want to marry me? Jyoti is like of course. If your ShardaDidi can remarry and that too at this age, then you are still young and a bachelor and handsome. Parag gets all shy. Parag is like I leave everyday wearing a Sehra on my head but I can't find a girl as she is not in my Naseeb. Sapna says, Mamaji, with our JyotiBhabhi around, you don't need to worry about finding a girl. Jyoti is like yes we are all here so you need not worry. "Hum to Aapka Band Bajwa Kar hi rahenge!" (What a great pun – I loved it) MSL walks in while he is on the phone and only Parag notices. Sneha says Mamaji, what if we got you and Sharda married in the same mandap.<> Parag says then it will never happen. Sneha says why, what is the problem? Parag says it's not my problem it is Didi's problem. MSL notices he is about to spill the beans. He yells Parag what is happening here? Why haven't you left for the office yet. Parag gets scared and says I was on my way. Parag leaves and so does MSL. Jyoti says, Sneha you were right. "Yahan to dal me kala hi nahin, puri daal hi kaali hain"
Sapna and Karan's Room:
Sapna is reading through some files and Karan comes in. He says that as the days pass by, his tensions are increasing. Sapna agrees. Karan tries to butter up Sapna and says, sweetheart, we should try at least one time or else whatever there is left of the property – we will lose that too. Sapna says that she doesn't agree as she wants to focus on her career right now. Karan asks why and Sapna says that she doesn't her child to be born as a result of Bapuji's property, she wants the reason of her child's existence to be love not a was of property.
Amar's Room (I think):
Manoj tells Amar that he is going to get tested and to give him blessings. The bahus walk in joking about how they need to put itching powder in Parag's clothes. As they walk in they Manoj touching Amar's feet for blessings. Jyoti laughs and says, Sneha, it seems as if Manoj is not going to get medically tested but to take the SSC exams. Hehehe. Amar tells Manoj that his wishes and blessing are always with Manoj. As they are leaving, Jyoti comes with a dhai & sugar and says it is auspicious to eat that before taking and test in life. Jyoti gives her blessings also.
In Manoj's office:<>
Manoj is on the phone and the doctor tells him that he cannot have his reports until tomorrow morning. As he is talking, Amar walks in behind him. Manoj tells the doctor that he said the reports would be in that evening and if he does not get them, he cannot go and pacify Bhavna without the reports. Amar is laughing in the background as Manoj is stressed when the doctor hangs up on him. Amar teases Manoj and says to him, tell me the truth – what are you waiting for more? The reports or Bhavna? Manoj says both. Then he worries and says what if the reports are not normal, what will happen then? Amar says think positive and Manoj is like how is that possible? On the one hand, my wife is mad at me and in her Maayka, on the other hand, Bapuji and the will, and on top of everything – I have to wait more for the reports. Truth be told AmarBhaiyya, this is the first time I am getting mad at Bapuji.
At night in MSL's room:
MSL is pacing back and forth in some obvious tension as Parag walks in and says you called me? MSL says yes I called you, I have to talk to you about something important but before we talk, close all the doors. Parag closes the doors and says ok tell me what it is. MSL tells Parag that the bahus of the house are smarter than anyone thinks so whatever you do or say, do so with much care and thought, understood? Parag says he understands, but he faltered once before only because the bahus hit his sore spot (his bachelorhood). Parag, the blabbermouth, says that this time, I swear by you that even in my dreams I will not tell anyone the secret that you and Sharda are not going to get married. MSL shushes him up as he is finishing the sentence. MSL tells him that think what you are saying before you say anything – have you forgotten that even the walls have ears?<> MSL tells Parag that if the family members find out that there is no relation btw him and Sharda especially the kind the family thinks there is then all of their hard work will go to waste. There is a noise outside the room and Bapuji goes to the window to see a shadow against the wall. He tells Parag to be quiet as he goes to open the door. When he opens the door, the shadow runs away. MSL thinks to himself that someone was definitely here but who could it be?
Preview:
Sneha and Pranav talk about how Sharda's divorce has gone through and she is now eligible to marry MSL. Hetal is shown talking to Bapuji and says that Sharda got a divorce but I will not allow my mother's rights to be forcefully taken away. She further tells MSL that he can do whatever he wants but in order to marry someone else, she will not let MSL divorce Daya.
My thoughts: I think Daya was the one who overheard MSL and Parag's talks as the shadow had a rounded edge at the top and you couldn't see any groove where the neck indents. Seeing how Daya always has her head covered, I thought it might be her. I've never seen any of the other members cover themselves to overhear talks thus far so I don't think it could be anyone else. What do you guys think?
