Jain sasural

After 15 years of marriage, this serial is so realistic that I almost hate to see the women harassment.

The psycholigical, social and economical pressures marriage deals out to women in orthodox family really saddens me.

I don't think females face such things in "jain sasural". This is true in every kind of "society" or "religion".

Yes it makes one mad watching such cheap digs men take at women, but does it happen only in 1 sect of the society.

Ditto Dips.....it just angersme to watch such things....but do u believe these serials are just exaggerating as well???

Yes they are exaggerating else no one will watch them. Also in this serial they've shown lots of realistic things like --- widowed fai living with them, the religious stuff. the wish of parents to get their daugther married"

I come from a jain family & am married in one & can very proudly both my parents & ils are very broad minded esp my ILAWS.

Such things would be true only in families where the females are illiterates & males main aim is just to join the family buisness(nothing wrong in that).

males aiming to join the family busineess..well thr is nothing wrong in doing so, excluding the situation of using girls to marry someone in order to do that!!!

Its not an exagerration, but this happens in reality.. with Natak and all that .. except being FIL there are MIL's in real life
