I started watching this serial 'coz it showed some Jainism stuff(I'm a jain). So it was pretty interesting to watch all that. Then it got boring with all the stupid lovey/dovey scenes bet S & P (They need to take some coaching from Jai & bani). (Sorry if I've offended any S & P fans).

now it's getting interesting again.

So I thought we'd have a game : "WHAT WOULD I DO IF I WERE SNEHA?"

Rules are simple the story shouldn't reach a divorce, it should be ending with the men changing. Obviously Atul Mehta's daughter gets married into the house too?

So What says all:

Thanks

If I were Sneha, I would murder Pranav and Mansukhlal.

Kidding...

Actually I would have filed for a divorce long ago when they had insulted my parents. Since Divorce is not an option here I would do the following:

I would get support from the mamaji and the wicked aunty as well as the other daughter in laws. I would help my sis in law marry the guy she wants and with full respect I would argue with Daddyji in every wrong step he takes.

I have no clue what more one could do apart from what sneha's doing. Forget manshukh, none of the men are ready to listen to reason and the other halves thinking doesnt matter.

To be honest, if i were sneha, i would have revolted the day mansukh insulted my parents....i mean, c'mon you can take things to yourself but parents?

And even if i survived that, it wouldnt have been long before i quit the house. what is there in that house anyways? Luxury? yeah...maybe but at what cost?

A puppet of a husband..other scared jethani's and complete censorship on individual wishes.

Infact i wonder sneha is taking the right step by deciding to stay back. ok, i agree when she says...she should have equal rights to the house....but the point is, if her in-laws (husband included) dont consider her a equal, can she force it? (its understood we are not talking legal rights)

Then the only option is either accept it the way it is (as others did) or call it quits.

Ofcourse this is a serial and therefore moves with the moral -"alls well in the end" but in reality....

I know the rule of the game, but I could not stay married to a husband who does not respect his wives opinion. Why would any self respecting person (man or woman )go through such humilation ???
All woman I think should be educated and self indipendent. They should be strong enough to stand on their own feet.
I guess jo khud ki izzat nahin karta , no one else will respect that person.

My first thought was murdering the men & then I thought well Sneha should divorce, but then is that the solution. The men would just then consider S as one stray women & how we "straigthen" her by kicking her out. So what purpose would it serve if she left the house.

this is what I'd think I would do.

Since all the men are highly egoistic, I would (of course put it in such a way that they have to accept the challenge) challenge them to switch roles & see if they can manage 1 day without the women. (I've done this with my hubby & now he appreciates my efforts, but then he's not as rigid as the men in this show). All women including the maid & phaiba should go on strike. Agreed things won't change in a day or so, but then its not a easy battle.

Agreed until now all females didn't have the guts, but now their thought process has been changed. They should even forget abt their parents(one is in difficulty 'coz of mansukhlal & other has their own son to take care of). This fight is not for some jewellery or sari , buts its for your self respect & the right to dream & live as a first class citizen.

The first one to change would be the youngest --- I feel he'd become a ghar-jamai of AM.

Okay got to go now. Will add thinga late.
