Written Update - June 10th 2010

The episode starts off from yesterday's scene where Nishi realizes that Pragya lied about her income to his family. When he questions her about it, she sweet talks her way out of it by telling him that she was telling his family the amount of money she could contribute to them every month from her paycheck. She told Nishi that she felt responsible for her own parents too and therefore she intended to send them some money and spend some money on her grooming i.e. 15000 rupees was what she could spare out of her 25000 rupees salary. And Nishi seemed to be content with her answer and believed her! (The less I say about this the better! *gag*)

Back at the Kulkarni's house, Kaka and Kaki are trying to persuade Baba to sell the house and move over to their part of town. This is apparently a common fight/discussion topic and this time Baba gets angry and yells at them. He tells them that the Shivaji Park house has sentimental value to him because he made a promise to his father that he'd never leave this house. He accused Kaka Kaki of being blinded by money and not caring enough about such deep emotions (And I say "Encore!" to that statement!). Aayi gets everyone to calm down and Mugda changes the topic over to Pragya and what everyone thought of her. While Shree says that he think Pragya wouldn't be able to adjust well in their family, Mugda suggests that they could adjust around her while she learned about the family. In the mean time Nishi comes back and asks everyone their opinion about Pragya. Everyone seemed to generally like Pragya except for Aayi - when Nishi asked Aayi, she either tried to stall the question or delay the impending answer until she finally told Nishi that she needed time to think.

The next day Aayi comes in the kitchen and notices five packed lunches instead of the regular four. When she asks Mugda about it, Mugda tells her that the fifth one was for Pragya. This irritates Aayi and after much skirting around the issue she finally tells Mugda that she does not like Pragya and doesn't feel that she'd be a good partner for Nishi. She tells Mugda that Pragya is not ready to accept this family and that her distant and calculative behavior is not something that Aayi prefers to have in her daughter-in-law. Aayi also tells Mugda that she prefers Devki for Nishi and not Pragya. Even though Mugda tries to persuade Aayi to agree for Nishi's sake, Aayi ends the discussion by saying that she too is thinking about Nishi's well being and that she won't discuss this anymore.

As she leaves, Nishi comes there and tries to ask Mugda if Aayi had agreed. Mugda stalls the question by saying that Aayi needs time to think and Nishi gives her till that evening to get Aayi to say yes for him and Pragya. While everyone's at work, Mugda's shown to be worried about the issue all day.

In the evening, Nishi comes home early and asks for Aayi - he has brought a gift for Aayi and Shree/Baba tease him about it. While this discussion is going on, Aayi arrives and Nishi presents the gift to her which is a sari. As soon as Aayi finds out that the sari was bought by Pragya, she gets upset and harshly puts the sari on the table as she walks away. Nishi and everyone else realize that Aayi might not be happy with Pragya and Nishi's relationship so Nishi asks her. The episode ends with Aayi telling Nishi that she does not like Pragya and does not approve of her as his wife - she also tells him that she's chosen Devki for him.

Precap - Nishi is drunk and he's blaming Mugda for his drunken stupor, saying that she's betrayed his trust just so she could get her sister married to him.
