Today is Tears Special, and I am not in the mood for tears, so I will update this after some time. Why does Mr. K have to do this kind of kodumai to get viewers? Who wants to see this tears and crying business?

Archana goes in with Selvam and the baby. Priya takes the child and hugs and kisses him. Sivagami tells her to return the baby to Archana, but she refuses, so Sivagami reminds her that this was why Archana had told her to stay away from their home. Priya pleads with Archana, saying this baby is my life, please let me have him, I know I am doing what no woman should ever do, ask someone to give up their child, but please let me have him.

Archana drops her bombshell, this is your baby, the one who you had in your womb for ten months and delivered. Vinod says, Why are you also saying this, Archu? It is bad enough that Priya keeps saying that her baby is alive, you don't have to do this. Jayanthy also echoes him. Archana says that the two of you are saying this, but the three people concerned with this are quiet. She says that she found out when she had gone to the hospital to see Priya that it was her baby that died that day, and Ilamaran is actually Priya's baby, and they had switched the two babies. Sivagami, Selvam and Mr. Siva look guilty as sin.

Selvam says that it was his idea and he didn't want Archana to break down, since she had already lost one baby and this would have been too much for her to bear, so he came up with this idea. Sivagami then comes forward and says that it was her idea, since Priya could get married later and have more babies, but Archu couldn't so she did this. Archu asks them why they played with her emotions and made the baby the point of contest between the two mothers. She says she has decided to give up the baby to the rightful mother. Priya says she didn't expect this of Selvam, who looks ashamed, as he should. I am reminded of King Solomon and the two women who claimed the same baby, this is just a variation.

A lot more talking goes on, back and forth. Finally Archu says she didn't even get to see her baby's face, and runs to the backyard and digs frantically with her bare hands near the banana plant. Then she sobs uncontrollably, while Sivagami holds her and the rest of the crowd is watching.

Vasu is coming home, remembers he is supposed to have been job hunting. quickly pulls out his shirt, tousles up his hair (illaina mattum adhu romba cleanly combeda irundhudha enna? It always looked messy to me!), goes in with a long face. Bhagyam is giving Poonga his coffee, asks Vasu if he found a job, he says he has decided to go to Dubai, make Rs. 5 lacs annually, and come back after a few years as a millionaire! Poonga and Bhagyam look stunned!

Bare minimum update!

Update for Fri, Jun 17, 2011:

Dheena is getting ready to go to court with the lawyer when Jayanthy comes there and tells them that Priya's baby is back with her and tells them the story behind the return. She wants Dheena to torture her MIL with this information and outlines her plan to Dheena and her mother.

Rani's house - Saroja's husband comes home early. They want to know what the collection is, turns out the food was all used up, but no paisa vasool because he had posted on the sign "Laddu elavasam", but the "Laddu" got erased by accident, so a huge crowd came and ate and shouted at him when he asked for money - actually, this scene was funny when I saw it, but I am so ticked off by this show - so he had to let them go. Saroja is fuming at this. Rani bursts out laughing when she hears about this asattuthanam, which makes Saroja and her father angry with Rani (she should have known better than to laugh out loudly!) As usual, FIL shouts at Rani, MIL tries to take her part, FIL is worried that he has invested lakhs in this man's business.

Priya is playing with the baby, Jayanthy is thinking, Just wait till my brother gets here and then we will see about your happiness, Mr. Siva says he is thinking about Archana and her happiness now. Dheena arrives at the gate and shouts out Priya's name, and Priya looks worried, anticipating trouble.

Update for Wed, Jun 22, 2011:

Poonga slaps Puli, tells Bhagyam that he is spreading lies about their uthama puthran Vasu. Bhagyam asks what it was that he said, and Puli says that he saw Vasu the previous day, when he was sitting in the AC bar. Poonga says that Vasu has thirundhufied, and because of that Poonga himself has also thirundhufied, and now Puli is spreading lies. He asks Vasu if that was true, and Vasu says he had gone to the Passport office, which is near the AC bar. Puli is given one more slap (this is why I have always disliked this serial - the amount of physical abuse is incredible!) and thrown out of the house by Poonga. Vasu heaves a sigh of relief. Bhagyam tells poonga that Vasu needed money so she has given him her silver golusu and asked him to use that for money, and of course, Poonga is delighted. In the meantime, Vasu gets a call from one of his friends to come for a round of drinks and to bring some money, and of course, our DSDR is already flush with money.

Selvam in his shed - Siva brings someone who wants to buy two cars, both cars are sold, Selvam gets the cash, he tries to give Siva some money, and Siva the MMM declines, says he cannot accept it, last time itself, he gave the money to his wife, who deposited it in the temple hundi. Selvam insists on his taking some cash at least. In the meantime, Selvam gets a call from the MD of the company which has given these cars, asking if he has sold the cars yet. He says he has sold two, the MD tells him to hurry up and sell the rest, last time he was punctual, and so Selvam says he will sell all the cars by the next day. Siva calls a broker friend, who doesn't have a buyer, so he says he will call other brokers and get the cars sold. (And here is where the next problem will come for Selvam!)

Rani is waiting in Akash's office to give him the keys to his bike. She asks him how he could lose it, he is also surprised at how they got lost. As she is leaving, Akash's MD enters the office, sees her, asks someone about her and is told she is Akash's wife. He goes to his cabin, thinks for some time, then calls Akash to his office.

Archana is sitting in her room, imagining that the baby is in front of her, only to find there is no baby there. Just then, she hears a knock on the door, opens it to see Sivagami, Priya and the baby, but she thinks she is imagining things, and turns away (leaving the door open!). Sivagami asks her why she did that, she explains that she has been seeing the baby in her imagination, so Sivagami says that is why they have come here, they know she is missing the baby. Archana refuses to hold the baby, saying then she may not return the baby, but the baby starts crying, priya also tells her to hold the baby, and Archana cannot stand it any more. She takes the baby, showers him with kisses and holds him close. She tells Priya not to tell Selvam about this, she doesn't want him also thinking they can take the baby back. Just as she is saying this, Nandini comes in. Sivagami doesn't look pleased.

Thursday 23/6/11

Decided to take Eljay's suggestion – as brief as possible.

Archana's palace is filled with her crowd. Nandhini comes to console Archu . lady Shiva Ellum kOllum vedichings. MM MM comes – all dejected. Enna matter? He could sell only 2 cars out of 10. Nandhini teaches him marketing techniques and mass SMS idea. While the others admire Nandhini for her business acumen Lady Shiva warns Archu that Nandhini might steal MM MM (aama periya manamthan , athileyum romba smart vera pOdi pOdi punnakku )

Adutha rendu sgment kkum 4 lines than – Aakash comes back home , salary day , Sarroojja wants a big chunk , Aakash announces " enakku velai Gaali. mOtha settlement.." Sarrooja as usual blames Raani's raasi, appa does a chayngg chak, Raani cries. Aakash and Raani – in their room . Raani complains about the clan karichu kOtting and Aakash shouts "unnale than I lost my job " Reason ? Throws the photo where Raani is leaning on dead Ram's shoulder – Aakash's manager tells him " your wife is not a good woman…."

fri - kashtam! I typed the update once and something happened and it is goney gone! So now I am retyping this useless episode's update.

Update for Fri, Jun 24, 2011:

Akash and Rani - Akash's MD shows the photo of Rani and Ram, tells Akash that Rani's character is bad, Akash gets angry and grabs MD by his shirt collar, MD fires him in retaliation. Rani explains about how she didn't want to get married to a drunkard, so her friend suggested that she pose for a picture and so this picture was taken. Akash feels hurt that she didn't tell him about this when he has always stood by her (mutely, while his father and sister taunted her by calling her names like daridram pidichava), but she hid this from him.

Selvam, Siva, Rangan and Kuppan go all over town, distributing the fliers.

Vasu is watching TV. Poonga comes in, looking upset. He tells Bhagyam about Archana's baby not being hers but Priya's and about her baby dying in the hospital and Selvam and Sivagami hiding this from her, and how now she has found out and returned the baby to Priya. He feels bad that he cannot even go and console Archana at this time, and Bhagyam apologizes for having put him in this situation. vasu is considering how this situation can be used to his advantage.

Akash's MD goes home, where his wife is sobbing in front of a garlanded photo of a young man, the drunkard whom they wanted to get married to Rani, and he tells wife about his taking revenge on Rani by telling her husband that her character wasn't good. Wife is happy, says they will take revenge on her and make her suffer, so that their son's atma will have peace (who told you that this will give him peace?)

Selvam returns late, asks Bhanu about Archu, she says Archana was fine all day long, talking to them. But he goes inside and when he talks to Archana and says he is happy she has not been crying, she starts crying. He tells her about not selling any cars and about distributing the fliers. When he also cries to keep her company, she says she is going to learn to be like Nandini and cheer him up, instead of pouring out her woes to him.

Ok, what do you guys expect??? Nandhini's house – that guy who loaned them 3 Lakhs is eying Nandhini with lust – actually he is happy that the money is a far away dream !! - he knows that the money is no where in the vicinity and so has a " decent " proposal " my wife is rich but no beauty , so, let me marry you and give you the status of the second wife, what say?" Not that he waits for an answer…. Drags Nandhini – looks like he has the registrar's office eating out of his hand – garland , thaali laam ready panni ttu inge vanthuttarO??? Well, to cut a long story short, MM MM arrives with the money and pours ice cold water on the idea of a second marriage !!! Loan paid, Nandhini and daddy are happy. But MM MM being what he is, has a surprise for Nandhini. He has bought a gold chain for her and has the pleasure of adorning it on her . Well, Lady Shiva along with Manjal Pisasu and Ramya are privy to this scene , why so?? Well, they have come to the same "hospital " where Archu brought her kid for some "Oothal " Kekkanumaa?? As it is Lady Shiva is ready to kill Nandhini ..ippO nalla ammunition. And they witness one more thing too – MM MM paying back the money – he paid 3 lakhs to the loan shark, 1 lakh to the spare parts shop and the rest 2 lakhs towards Nandhini's loan account. Ambuttu then…all hell breaks loose, Manjal pisasu nalla veppilai adikkarathu. Nandhini wants MM MM to drop her at work and so both come near MM MM 's car. The auto which has the pleasure of housing Lady Shiva and Co makkar pannufies to start and so they are also privy to what Nandhini says to MM MM " don't tell Archu that you bought me a chain, no wife can tolerate hubby buying such costly gifts to any other girl " Lady Shiva makes it her responsibility to save Archu's life – "Archu, here we come "

Intha Raani story rombbbaaa irritating – so, brief update. Aakash comes back after hunting for a job , onnum sariya Kuthiralai !!! Sarrojja comes back – she took her kid to see the doctor – well the kid has summer boils and so Sarrojja wants her room to be air conditioned. Raani objects saying that right now the finanancial situation is bleak. Sarroja makes a dig saying that Aakash loves her as much as MM MM loves Raani – enna context nnu kekkatheenga ppa MM MM peru should be mentioned, period. Aakash bites that bait, promises to do the needful. Raani Ooram kattufies Aakash and tries to inject some logic. Akash shouts at Raani "leave me alone, I know how to manage my expenses "
