Santia tells her fellow officers, she had never stayed longer than six months at a station as she is always transferred. An officer bring a case of pick pocket - both pick pocket and victim are brought to Santhia. Santhia whacks the pick pocket and tells him to apologize to the victim and send him away. She tells the other officers that booking him is only a waste of government time and money.

Santhia sees Kasthuri coming and is shocked. She has visions of Simi walking toward her. When Kasthuri greets her, Santhia calls her Simi. Kasthuri tells her she is not Simi. Santhia excuses herself for a minutes and makes a call to a chinese lady in Singapore and tells her that Simi is still alive andin Chennai. The Chinese girls tells her it cannot be as she was there and saw the whole burial. Santhia disconnects and goes back to her seat and asks the police officer t bring Kavya's file. Santhia addresses Kasthuri as Simi but Kasthuri corrects her. Santhia is curious when she sees Thiru's family photo and asks if that is her family. Kasthuri explains that the photo is of Simi's family and that she has been transplanted with Simi's face and relates the story about her surgery. Santhia hears with interest. She then tells Santia she wants to meet Thiru and will go to her house. Kasthuri requests that they find Kavya soon and Santhia says she will take care of it. Kasthuri goes home and tells Thiru about her visit to the police station. Thiru wants to go meet Santhia but Kasthuri tell him no need as Santhia said she will come to the house. Kasthuri also tells Thiru that Santhia knows him and she studied in Singapore.

Ram trying ot put Santhosh to sleep. Radha goes to him and asks what is happening as the police does not seemt o do anything. She asks how come the police commissioner has not sent anyone to search or talk to her. She says that she too know the procedure on how the police conduct investigations because when Annamalai had dissappeared, she had spokent o the police who had searched their house and queried her. Ram tells her that the police is doing their job. Radha wants to goe and make a complaint at hte police station the next day and inssists on it. Ram gets a call and Ram gives Santhosh to Radha and excuses himself. It is Kasthuri ont he other line who asks him how come he did not go see the Police Commissioner like he told them. Ram lies saying he did but Kasthuri tells him she had spoken to the commissioner who told her he has not heard of Radha missing. Ram then lies saying that he only met the assistant commissioner and not the commissioner himself as he ws busy at a meeting. Kasthuri then asks to speak with Radha and Ram again lies saying she had gone to the temple and he will pass the message to her when she returns.

Santhia goes to Kasthuri's house and asks Jothi for Thiru. Kasthuri comes out and greets her. Santhia asks who house it is and who is the owner. Kasthuri says it is hers. Santhia asks for Thiru and Kasthuri says he is upstairs and will be down soon. Thiru comes down and smiles at Santhia. Santhia sees him and has a vision of a lady falling down from a building. THODARUM.

Thiru comes down and meets with Santhia. Thiru tells her Kasthuri had told him about Sathia being an honest officer and is confident she will find Kavya. Thiru tells her that Kasthuri had informed him that Santhia knew him in Singapore. Santhia says since he was a well known businessman there, she had seen his photos in newspapers and magazines and that is how she knew him. Thiru tells her about his wife Simi's death in an auto accident in Singapore and now Kavya is missing. Santhia tells Thiru not to worry as she has already taken steps to find Kavya and will give them any information of a lead.. Thiru thanks her and says he will be forever grateful to her when she brings Kavya back to him. Santhia again tells them not to worry and to keep in touch with her and leaves.

Bharath tells his SIL,Jayanthi he is takingher to Chennai and get her a job there. He will also admit her into a ladies hostel so that she can stay there and work. Jayanthi refuses saying this is not a solution to her problem. Bharath says it is not a solution but at least it will keep her away from the village so that people will not find out. Bharath promises to take her to her boyfriend Thiagu's house to see him and if he is there will discuss about their wedding and then come back and tell her mother. Jayanthi agrees Bharath takes Jayanthi to Thiagu's house but sees it locked. Bharath then stops one of the neighbors and ask about Thiagu. The man says Thiagu died in an auto accident in Calcutta and since there wre no next of kin, the police did the last rites there. Both Bharath and Jayanthi are shocked. Jayanthi cries and refuses to follow Bharath bu he somehow calms her down and ask her to follow him.

Kasthuri in her bed and thinks about Kavya and is really worried. She looks at a drawing and thinks back her time with Kavya. Santhia in civvies is at home thinking, she then goes int he police jeep and stops at a cemetary. She recollects some talk and incident with a girl either sophia or kavya (can't remember the name). Looks like the girl commited suicide. Santhia cries and stares at the tombstone. THODARUM.

Inspector Santhia is questioning 3 rowdies. Asks them if they know anything about Kavya's kidnapping. The men tell her they don't. Santhia tells her constables to release the men and buy them briyani. The constables tells her the men wont relent just with briyani and must be beaten. Santhia tells them to release the men and follow them to see where they are going and whom they are meeting.

Kasthuri tells the commissioner she will wait until the end of the day and if no news about Kavya, she will go see him about further action the next day. She then thinks about her time with Kavya and cries. Jothi tells Kasthuris he met Radha at hte temple and how she is worried about Rekha's disappearance. Thiru rushes to them and tells Kasthuri he received two calls from an unknown number but when he tried calling back, no answer or is told wrong number. He want to give the numebr to Inspector Santia and goes out.

Thiru goes to Inspector Santia and gives her the numbers and says he is unableto reach that number. Inspector takes the number down and asks Thiru if he suspects anyone. Thiru says no. She asks if if he had stepped on anyone's toes, but Thiru says he never did anything to anyone knowingly or unknowingly. Santhi asks him to think about it. She then asks why he is staying with Kasthuri and if they are getting married. Thiru is confused and asks what has that got to do with Kavya's kidnapping. Inspector says it could be someone who does not want the marriage to take place. She also explains that if the kidnappers took Kavya for money, they would have called for the ransom. This just looks likeit is for some other reason and they should think of every angle possible. Thiru tells Santhia to somehow find his daughter and she says she will take care of it.

Ram thinks about his conversation with Kasthuri - whe tells him she spoke with the Commissioner and was told Ram never met him. Ram immediately calls Soma and tells him that Kasthuri is always coming to the house and talks to Radha about Rekha's disappearance and is afraid of what might happen if Kathuri tells Radha about Ram not meeting the commissioner. Soma tells Ram not to worry as he will find a way to keep Kasthuri busy with Kavya's disappearance and hangs up.

Ram is in the room trying to call someone. The door bell rings. Radha goes to open the door hoping it would be Rekha. She opens the door and finds 3 mem from the drainage and irrgation department. The tell her that her maid had called them about their pipe leaking and they have come to check. Radha takes them to the back and show them where to look and leaves, telling them to inform her when their work is completed. The men go to the spot where Rakha is burried. They see that the ground had been dug before and they remove the pots and start digging. Ram who heard the doorbell finds it strange that he cannot hear anyone downstair, and gets up to see. THODARUM.

The men are digging in the backyard. Radha goes in and Ram stops her and asks who was at the door. Radha says some men came to repair the pipe and are working in the back. After Radha goes in, Ram goes to the men and see them digging. He immediately stops them saying there is nothing wrong with their pipe. The men tells him the complaint came from his house and how can he know if something is wrong or not. Ram then cooks up a story about Santhosh having chicken-pox and there should be no digging. He gives the men some money and tells them to leave. Ram sits there and thinks. Radha comes and asks about the men and Ram tells her they have checked and found nothing wrong so they left. Radha seems satisfied with this reply and goes in as she hears Santhosh crying.

Vadivoo is driving around with Kavya. Kayva is crying and Vadivoo shouts at her to stop crying. She asks the driver to stop when she sees two men standing by the road. She gets down and the men ask if they can take Kavya to the boat. Vadivoo calls Soma and asks if Kavya can be taken to sea. Soma tells her to go ahead. Vadivoo tells about inspector Santhia who is very strict and is afraid will find out about htem. Soma tells her not to worry because Santhia would not do anything even if she finds something out. Soma says he knows Santhia very well and not to worry. He order Kavya to be taken to Neelamegam's boat so that no one will know about her whereabouts and hangs up.

Kasthuri in her room and gets a call. She immediately leaves and goes searching for Kavya in the woods. A man is watching from the shadows. Thiru comes back and asks Jothi whre Kasthuri is. Jothi says Kasthuri left in a hurry after receiving a phone call. Thiru calls Kasthuri's cell and finds the cell at home. Thiru gets worried and wonders where Kasthuri is. In the meantime, Kasthuri looks for Kavya and calls out her name. She finds some stuff belonging to Kavya and is shocked. THODARUM.

Kasthuri looks at some stuff on the ground. One of the men watching her calls Vadivoo who is with Kavya on a boat at sea and asks what to do with Kasthuri. Vadivoo tells him to kill Kasthuri and dispose off her body and come back. The man hangs up and calls the other and chase Kasthuri. Kasthuri runs.

Thiru calls Santhia and informs her about Kasthuri. Inspector immediately takes her men and go looking for Kasthuri. In the meantime, Kasthuri is being chased by the men. She falls down and all the men surround her and try to hit her. Santhia arrives in her motorcycle and sees the men and run towards them. The men see her and the other policemen and run off. Santhia helps Kasthuri up and scolds her for her stupidity. She tells one of her men to keep Kasthuri company while she and the others chase the thugs. One of them get caught. Santhia takes Kasthuri home.

On of hte escaped thug calls Vadivoo and tells her Kasthuri being saved by Santhia and one of their men being caught. Vadivoo gets worried and tells the her man to take the boat to the shore immediately. At the police station the thug is being beaten and asked to tell where Kavya is. The man denies knowing anything. Santhia comes there and tells her men to stop beating the thug. She tells them that Kavya's body was found at the roadside and says this guy must have murdered her. The thug tells her he did not and spitsout the truth about Kavya being held on a boat. They take him to show the way.

Thiru and Kasthuri follow behind Santhia. Ram is waiting at the shore for someone. His car is parked a distance away. Vadivoo tells her man to keep an eye on Kavya. Kavya somehow escapes and runs away and hides in Ram's car. The police, Thiru and Kasthuri arrive at the shore and look for Kavya but don't find her. Kavya is still hiding in Ram's car. THODARUM.

Kasthuri and Thiru are at the police station with Inspector Santhia. Both Kasthuri and Thiru are worried that they have yet to find Kavya and the kidnappers have escaped. They are afraid the kidnappers might harm Kavya. Santhia tells them nothing like that would happen as the kidnappers' only concern is to escape the police and not harming Kavya. Santhia asks both Thiru and Kasthuri to return home and promises them Kavya will return by the end of the day. Thiru and Kasthuri leave. Santhia thinks. Kavya is waling down the road and sees Kasthuri's house and walks in and stand by the couch. Jothi comes to the living and sees Kavya. She carries her and asks what happened and who kidnapped her and how she came back. Kavya just keeps quiet, gets down, pushes Jothi away and goes upstairs.

Jothi calls and informs Kasthuri about Kavya returning home. Both Kasthuri and Thiru rush home and Jothi tells them that Kavya looks scared and is not talking. Kasthuri and Thiru goes upstairs and see Kavya ont he bed. Thiru hugs his daughter and starts questioning her but Kavya is all quiet. Kasthuri tells Thiru to leave Kavya alone and not to ask her any questions. Thiru hugs his daughter again and tells her he will never leave her hereafter and would always be with her and tells her to rest.

Later, Kasthuri takes food to Kavya and wants to feed her but Kavya just stares at her quietly and pushes her away when Kasthuri tries to hug her. Kasthuri asks what is wrong and asks her to come to mommy. Kavya pushes her away again and Kasthuri tries to leave thinking Kavya needs rest. Suddenly Kavya screams "Kasthuri" and this shocks Kasthuri. Kasthuri and Kavya have a staring match for a few minutes. Kasthuri goes to Kavya and tells her she is not Kasthuri but her mother Simi. Kavya says she knows that her mother died in an auto accident and that Kasthuri is a fraud pretending to be her mother. Kasthuri denies but Kavya refuses to listen. Both Kasthuri and Kavya now have a crying competition to see who has more tears to shed! THODARUM.

Kavya on the bed recollecting how she got into Ram's car. Ram had taken her home and Kavya explains she escaped from the kidnappers and wants Ramto take her back to her daddy and mommy. Ram listens to her and then shows pictures of Kasthuri and Simi and explains how Simi died and her face was transplanted on Kasthuri.

Soma and his manager Balu talk. Balu says even if Soma had asked for 2 crores, Kasthuri and Thiru would have paid the ransom for the little girl. Now they got nothing. Soma says he will reap the profit later. His main intention is to make Kasthuri's life misarable. Ram comes there and tells Soma his achievement in changing and corrupting Kavya'smind. Soma is very happy and tells Ram, he can now rest with no worried. Ram tells about the men who came to repair the pipes and how he was just in time to stop them from digging Rekha's grave. He also tells Soma about a police officer who had informed Rekha about his involvement in Annamali's murder and feels that the police are secretly following them. Soma says unless he opens his mouth and points at Ram being involved, he is safe. He tells Ram no to worry as he will never expose Ram to the police. Ram leaves and Balu says Ram may look happy on the outside but he is actually scared. Soma says it is good that Ram is scared and worried because he has more uses for Ram.

Thiru reading a book. Kasthuri comes there and he asks her about Kavya and says he wants to take her to the doctor for checkup. Kasthuri tells him Kavya would not have slept. He tells her about Kavya finding out about her not being Simi. Thiru is shocked and asks how she knows. Kasthuri tells him about her conversation with Kavya and how Kavya hates her now. Thiru tells her he will gtalk to Kavya and after their wedding everything will be ok. Kasthuri says how can there be a wedding when Kavya already know about her and would not want her. Thiru tells her not to worry and goes upstairs to see Kavya. Ram gets a call on his cell and he is shocked. THODARUM.

Ram gets a call on his cell and is shocked at hearing the caller. He runs to the backyard where he buried Rekha's body and is relieved to see the two pots there. He then looks at the cell and is tensed. Kavya is looking at Simi's photo and crying for her mommy. Thiru goes to talk to her but she runs away from him. Thiru tries to explain to her and Kavya asks why he had lied to her about her mother's death. She tells him she knows Kasthuri is not her mother. Kasthuri too comes there and it is sadness all around the three of them.

Santhosh is sick and the doctor examines him and says he is only having fever. Radha says his fever has been high for two days. Doctor says he is missing his mother and for them to bring his mother to him. Radha cries and says Rekha has been missing and they don't know where she is. Doctor tells her not to worry as Rekha will come back soon and leaves. After doctor leaves, Radha tells Ram to put an ad in the papers with Rekha's photo and offer a reward to anyone who can give information about her. Ram gets a shock hearing this. He tells Radha, they should wait for a few more days but Radha is adamant. Ram with his sad face tells Radha that people will start talking bad about Rekha if they see her picture and find out she is missing. He says he cannot take it if Rekha gets a bad name and walks away. Radha hugs her grandson and cries. THODARUM.

What a 🤬 episode!

Thiru asks Kasthuri if she had gone upstairs to see Kavya. Kasthuri says no. She then tells Thiru not to hit Kavya ever again. Thiru had slapped Kavya the day before because she spoke ill of Kashturi. Thiru says he did not intentionally hit her, he just couldn't bear to hear Kavya talk bad about Kasthuri. Kasthuri says right now Kavya is like a parrot, just repeating what the kidnappers had told her. Kasthuri says now she knows the reason for Kavya's kidnapping - that is to stop their wedding. Someone did not want them to get married and they used Kavya to stop the wedding.

Thiru goes upstairs and sees his daughter looking at Simi's photo and crying. He goes to her and apologized for hitting her. Both father and daughter crr their heart out. Sindha and Mangai get the stuff ready for Jayanthi to take to Chennai. Jayanthi in her room and Mangai goes to her and says if she does not want to go, she can stay and get a job near home. Mangai says she had persuaded their mother to agree with Jayanthi's decision to go to Chennai and look for a job. Jayanthi tells her sister she wants to go. Bharath comes in and asks if Jayanthi is ready and what the problem is. Mangai tells him, it looks like Jayanthi has second thoughts. THODARUM.

Thiru and Kasthuri at the police station talking to Santhia about Kavya's return. Santhia wants to ask Kavya about her kidnappers nad tells Thiru to talk to her and find out. She also asks him to inform her immediately as they have to take action against the kidnappers. Kasthuri tells Santhia to just leave the matter as Kavya has returned home safe. Santhia says that cannot be done and the kidnappers should not go unpunished as they could kidnap other kids too. Thiru and Karthik thank Santhia and leave.

Bharath and Jayanthi arrive in Chennai. Bharath asks Jayanthi if she would like to have some food but she refuses saying they should find a good ladies hostel first. Bharath then suggests they see a doctor first to abort the baby as her boyfriend Thiru is now dead. Jayanthi says the doctor in their hometown had said she cannot abort the baby and she does not want to face anymore insults. Bharath tells her the doctors in Chennai are more efficient nad have better technology and he is sure they will have different opinion. He also tells her that it would be difficult for Jayanthi to be a single mom and work. Finally Jayanthi agrees and they see a doctor. The doctor examines Jayanthi and tells them to come back in the evening as she would have the results by then. Later that evening the doctor tells Jayanthi she is now three months pregnant and it would be a difficult procedure but she will try her best. Jayanthi and Bharath leave the clinic.

Thiru goes to Kavya who is in the room and talks to her. He asks her if she knows who her kidnappers are and Kavya says it is a fat woman with some thugs with her. Thiru then says the person who told her about Kasthuri not being her mother is a bad person whose aim is to brainwash her and asks if she know who it is. Kavya tells Thiru that it is the same man who had pretended to help her and snatched the photograph of Simi and Thiru. Thiru thinks for a minute and realizes it is Ram. Thiru tells Kavya, although Kasthuri is not Simi but she loves Kavya as much and he believes that Kavya would realize this soon. Kasthuri listens to this and cries. Kasthuri goes downstairs and Thiru tells her, they may not know who Kidnapped Kavya but he is very sure who brainwashed her and brought her back. He tells he it is none other than Ram. Kasthuri asks how sure he is - she is not shocked at all about this. Thiru tells her about the photograph and Kasthuri says that is the photo that Ram had given to Jothi and shown to Rekha's mother and told them about Thiru and Kasthuri getting married in Singapore.

Thiru wants to make a complaint to the commissioner as he is very sure that Ram is involved in the kidnapping. Thiru says they were looking for Kavya everywhere and Ram had known where she was and had brought her home, thus he must have known about it. Kathuri tells him not to make the complaint and to just let it be. Thiru is surprised and asks why she still wants to safe Ram. Kasthuri tells Thiru that Radha is sad and worried about Rekha's disappearance and she does not want to burden her with Ram's arrest too. She then tells Thiru that she suspects Ram to be involved in Rekha's disappearance. Thiru is shocked and asks her to explain. THODARUM.
