You can add one more doubt to this list - who cleans the bathroom?😃 They could divide the water and electricity bills according to the number of people, in other words, Selvam will pay two sevenths of the bill, and Poonga and co. will pay the remaining amount. I guess they could have a sheet with who cleans the bathroom on which days and who does the kolam when. Interesting! By the way, how many bathrooms do they have, and if there is only one outside, then do they have a waiting list to see who gets it first, or how do they manage that? We used to have one bathroom in my grandfather's house in Chennai and we would hang around outside the bathroom with our clothes in hand, waiting for the door to open so we could rush in and hang our clothes, so that everyone would know that someone had booked it. Of course, my grandmother and mother and aunts got to shower before all of us, and we would quietly move away when the men came around. The boys would shower around the well itself, so they did not get into the fight for the bathroom.
