Thanks Pat for the update. If a man claims to be hungry in the US, I would give him money to go and eat a burger. If this happened in India, I would take him to a place where they serve a complete meal with rice and sambar and vegetables, etc. When did things change so much that a starving man wants pizza and Coke? EK and crew, are you so out of touch with reality?

This question is for EK and crew: If you have ever read these columns, you will know that at one point, two years back, there were a whole lot of people following these updates and they were all rooting for Kasthuri. Now it is down to a mere handful of people and some of them are like me, who read the updates and then go back and view it online if the update sounds like the episode was worth watching. I do have to report that I seldom watch this show online after reading the updates! Now all that we ask is a swift closure to this story. Why, oh why, are you introducing all these new characters like this guy who wants to commit suicide, and this Mangai and Jayanthi? How long do you think you have to go before you end this show? You have already lost most of your viewers, if you still don't know this, I am truly sorry for you. Just close this show and move on to something better, like interior decorating or fashion shows, anything other than TV serials.

Friends, Jagdu sent me a PM some time back saying that the last episode has been filmed, so there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel! I think the end is in sight, finally. Maybe it did finally sink into EK's brain that the viewership has declined and nobody was interested in what her brainless Kasthuri was doing.
