I have been asking this same question, why haven't Kasthuri's dad or her sisters or brother come to see her so far? Her father couldn't even bear to eat when she was in the hospital, and now he hasn't even come to see her. This is so unnatural.

Thanks Pat for the swift update. That was so irresponsible of the school to let the children go home early without ensuring that all the children's parents had been notified and making sure that all the children went home safely. No school in the US would dare to let children go alone, especially a child who is new to the school, because if anything happened to the child, the school authorities would be in big trouble.

Pat, I think you have left out one scene where Ram goes and shows his mother the photo of Thiru and Simi, and Jothi raves and rants about how dare Kasthuri remarry but her son was not allowed to do the same. Has she forgotten that her son not only remarried while he was still legally married, but was even planning to remarry for a third time? One rule for the son and another one for the DIL, it appears.

Jan 22 (Thurs):

Rekha in the office looking at some file and computer. She is shocked at what she sees. Goes outside and calls an employee and asks her why she did not prepare the contract agreement as asked. She scolds the employee, Pavitra saying she should only do as told and not something as she wished. Rekha warns Pavitra is she does not follow orders, she will be dismissed. Pavitra tells her she did not do it on her own but was told by the MD. She tells Rekha that both of them are staff there and Rekha should know her place. Rekha is shocked and thinks.

Kasthuri ont he phone telling the other party she will send the agreement in an hours as there are some changes needd. Rekha enters and asked why Kasthuri changed the agreement prepared by her. Kasthuri says there were some mistakes and she had to change it. Rekha asks what is wrong it. Kasthuri says with the agreement Rekha prepares, there would be problems when it comes to payment. Rekha gets angry and says that Kasthuri had given her the responsibility and left. Kasthuri says she had to leave on an important matter and does not want to talk about it right now. Rekha says if she wants changes, she should have told her and not another staff who isnow looking at her like she does not know her job. Kasthuri says why Rekha is getting angry as they are all a team. Kasthuri says there is no place for ego. She tells Kasthuri that when she was managing her company, only key people should be decision makers and not everyone. If everyone starts to decide, the company would fold.

Kasthuri asks Rekha why she is talking like that as though she does not know how hard she has worked to bring up the company. Rekha says she is not willing to continue with the project if Kasthuri does not turst her. Kasthuri says she trust Rekha and wants her to carry on with the project even if it is a loss. Rekha gets mad and asks if Kasthuri thinks by Rekha continuing with the project the company will face losses. Kasthuri explains it was just a matter of speech. Rekha also wants Kasthuri to dismiss Pavitra for being rude to her or at least suspend her. Kasthuri refuses saying that Pavitra is a good employee and she cannot do that. Rekha leaves saying she needs two days off. Kasthuri is sad at the turn of events.

Bharath as usual reading magazine, Mangai enters the room. Thunder and lightning strike and Mangai says it looks like its going to rain. Bharath says it does look like it. Mangai tells Bharath to adjust as they don't have a bed. Bharath tells her it is ok . Mangai tells him that her mother has ordered for bed set. Bharath again tells her it is ok and for her mother not to worry about it. Mangai goes out to bring milk. Bharath gets up and starts thinking. THODARUM
