I am extremely shocked/surprised/confused with this episode.

After seeing the promo on Friday, I definitely did not expect an episode like today. Laxman is dead!!!???? It's good and bad I guess.

Good thing is we won't have to see Lax/Bhuv jail time scenes or Tps/Lax emotional scenes but bad thing is Laxman's death doesn't look too good for P/D. Was reading the comments ahead and the predictions are good. Tps's mother will for sure create some trouble and on top of that there is also Suchi who is back.

P/D will probably have to start their new life together by themselves...wonder what will happen with the hospital and that big house.

Bhuvana showed a little remorse and sympathy at the end...wonder how her character will go now...

Still shocked about the episode...did not expect this coming,

First of all... Is the director of Thendral the very same director who runs Thirumathi Selvam?

If yes, then I fear VERY much for the nature this serial. You guys, What are the chances that Thendral suddenly turns haywire and becomes the second coming of TMS?

Kumaran is a man who is known for character assasination and haywire plots in Thirumathi Selvam.

TMS was going great in 2010-11 and looked to be over in a glorious way with Selvam becoming a success and Vasu being exposed as a fraud. Nandhini was a GREAT addition and the serial focused on them having an unbreakable relationship. The one mistake Kumaran did was not finishing it when the serial was at its apex. 2012 was a complete destruction of TMS. Nandhini became a villain and Cheriyan(who was Kavya's caring husband), became a ruthless serial killer and a sociopath. Nearly every supporting character has become an antagonist and the TMS has become a bottomless blackhole

This is a my reason i fear for Thendral with Lakshmanan's out of nowhere death. This could change everything for Deepa and Prabha. TPS's mom could become an antagonist and could very well say that it is because of Deepa's rasi that Laksh died. I wouldnt be shocked if even TPS turns on Prabha and Deepa. She didnt hesitate to turn on Thulasi that one time just because Thulasi was Bhuvana's daughter. Kumaran has this way as portraying people in his serials as those who can easily go from "sweethearts" to devils. Tamil and Thulasi's closeness has soured due to them not having scenes together. Tamil is always hanging out with TPS's family)although for a good sense). Everyone could turn on Deepa. WHo knows how Prabha will treat her... I doubt he loves her truly. They married just to respect the wishes of elders.. Oh yeah, lets not forget, Suchi has resurfaced too. That phonecall was no random accident. Her sudden appearance is opening a plot device that will thrust her right in the midst of D/P and threaten their relationship. With all these developments, its safe to say that D/P will be getting A LOT of screentime for the next year. These means that Tamil and THulasi scenes will be VERY rare. The only silver lining I see from this is that Deepa and Prabha will have Tamil, Thulasi, Kalyani, and Mohan's support. The whole of next year will be the "Deepa and Prabha against the world" show.

I also think there is a good chance that im thinking waay too much into parallels for both serials but i really hate the way the serial is progressing right now. These sudden developments, I believe will mark the beginning of dark and stormy times for the viewers of this serial.

Laxman is dead? What a quick way to go! 😃

"Betraying the one who trusted you, you wanted to live happily with another woman. How? Even now, you don't realize what you did is drogam [to me]. I have to lose everything, and stand as a beggar on the streets...while you live together with her [TPS] peacefully. You arrogantly did this, thinking that I couldn't do anything. See how I put a check[mate] for that? 👏 Now we have to live together forever, that too in jail. Even if I die, I will not let you two [Lax & TPS] live together. This is a promise!"

Lax, as usual did not stop to think about what forces Bhuv to do the things she did. Had he stopped the 60th wedding, Bhuv would not have torched the hospital...something he conveniently forgets when pointing out that Bhuv endangered innocent people 😡. He also conveniently forgets that it was also his fault that P/D marriage happened...which in turn, only served to anger Bhuv more. Lax continues to forget that he was at fault for much of the time...yes Bhuv was angry, but why? Because of what TPS/P/D/T&T/TPS's mom did? No. She was angry because of what LAX did 😡. What Lax did was cold hearted betrayal. What Lax did was drogam; a back stab to the highest degree.

As a result, I have no remorse for Lax...or for the people mourning his death. They all treat Lax as if he was some sort of mahaan, which he most certainly was not. Lax, was not killed, he was punished for what he did. But if you ask me, even this punishment is not enough for a man who would shamelessly jump from wife to wife, shamelessly throw hypocritical statements at others and let his ego override his common sense when deciding the marriage his son. 😡

I know, right? This Lax...to satisfy his ego, he got P/D married off...for no good reason. Now D has to be on the receiving end of TPS's mom's gutter mouth and Bhuv's next revenge target. For sure now, someone (TPS's mom/relatives etc.) are going to bring up D's raasi and how it's bad. Ithu elam thevaiya? Both P/D were happy go lucky people, minding their own business...and now they are married amidst a series of unfortunate events. And by the looks of it, P is going to be out of his house soon too. Great, one day of marriage...and already, a funeral, finance trouble and legal issues. Poor P/D.
