Laxmi Patti Laxmi Patti !
"After I acted in Mahanathi every one called me Laxmi Patti and Now I acted as your patti and all are calling me Thulasi's patti" she always says that very happily, Now I can not here that voice any more" Sruthi who is acting as Thulasi in the serial Thendral said. Sruthi had tears in her eyes while saying this.
Patti went Viruthunagar for her relatives function recently. She fell in the bathroom over there and admitted to the hospital and with out any improvement in her health she left us on February 20th. She acted more than 1000 films.
Shruthi as a young generation actress,shared her memories of patti with heavy heart.
Almost two years I spent 15 days in every month with her, even If I donot have any shooting we would talk over the phone. I am missing my patti Janaki who is living in Kerala. Laxmi patti was filling that gap that I was missing seeing my patti.
Patti will act without glycerin in a crying scene. By seeing that we can also have learned to act naturally.
Every time coming back from Viruthunagar she would bring special sweets and snacks to the whole Thandral team. 10 to 20 people always around her all the time.
Recently one assistant director told patti that he is looking for a job Patti called all the directors she knew to praise about him to get a job I was sitting next to her and I was really amazed the way she was talking to those directors.
She has a good heart of helping everyone.
If we asked "Won't you sad that you were not married", her answer would be "Why would I andI was surrounded by grand kids like you all "and made us melt.
She wanted to act until death and advice to us to work hard and stand on our own feet.
Now I felt that she went to her birth place, and I could not believe that she is no more.
And Sruthi signed off with sad and tear in her eyes,
The characters that she portrayed will always live with us.
