Uh-oh! Vampire Diaries Season 5 spoilers from TV Guide below!

Remember in Season 2 of The Vampire Diarieswhen Matt (Zach Roerig) found out Caroline(Candice Accola) was a vampire and then basically said, "Ew, get away. You have blood cooties"? Well, it was something like that, anyway. According to a new spoiler from TV Guide, history may be repeating in Season 5.

College is a time for ditching high school boyfriends and putting your would-be long-distance relationship on pause so you can make out with upperclassman. At least, this seems to be Caroline's plan when she heads to Whitmore College.

A new season and a new school means new characters, including Jesse, an older who seems like the total package. Not only is he hot and smart, he hasn't let all that go to his head. The only problem? He hates vampires — and apparently has a justifiable reason for doing so.

Matt eventually came around and became friends with Caroline again after their "you have fangs" falling out, but as we saw in the Season 4 finale, he still wanted a "vampire-free zone" around his love life. It remains to be seen if Caroline — the world's most in-control bloodsucker — can change Jesse's mind about dating someone who sips O-negative.
