It had been a week, still he couldn't locate his heart, his struggle to find it and calm his restiveness with alcohol was in no avail. Caroline's morning message was still ringing in his head, "Come and find her alive, if you can"with that one sentence she cut the call leaving him restless and raged. As per his vouch to his brother Stefan, he had left Mystic Fall without bidding the last good bye to Elena but it was time to return back to Mystic Fall, to find one, whom his hopeless brother couldn't protect. He knew she made a wrong decision by choosing Stefan but he made a mistake by letting her choose him and making a decision to stay away from her. He should have known, "That bloody useless man will never be able to protect her" He muttered under his teeth smashing the glass of wine on marble floor, "Elena, you are one confuse woman, I should have never left you with that weak man. I'm coming back. And this time not just to save you but also to steal your decision. " and he declared after a pause "Because I have already stolen your heart" and continued with his seductive smirk "it's time to steal you ... baby !!! " he announced grabbing his car keys and exiting to door.

REALIZATION

She should have been happy, she made her RIGHT decision, she had decided to stay with Stefan and this should have given peace to her soul, she wanted her heart to be steady and stable but after her decision it was more not in control . The moment she confessed her love to Stefan she thought she got him back but it's not what her heart felt it was strange that after getting him back, after her confession instead of feeling happy she didn't feel what she should have been or what she had hoped for she involuntary felt she lost something she did not know what or didn't want to know whom but deep inside she knew, she has lost something.

Stefan pulled her in his arms on her confession, he knew his love was true and will win but lately he felt insecure, he was scared of losing her to invincible love of his brother for Elena and for once he doubted his love and faith. But Elena wiped away his all doubts and insecurities by her confession; She pecked his lips and confessed, "I choose you Stefan, I met you before him ,You gave me hope to live and I should have not taken this much of time to decide where my heart belongs to, it's you , I choose you "She confessed in is embrace placing her palm above his chest listening his atypical heartbeats just like old days but her heart didn't beat differently in his arms like old days it was casual instead she was feeling a strange uneasiness in his arms not the warmth which always compelled her to forget herself, she did not feel the peace that she always felt in Damon's arms and on his thought she closed her eyes feeling herself wrapped around his arms and for a moment she could feel all her tension released. His embrace always worked as magic for her and his thought for the first time made her incognizant of her state "Damon" she whispered unconsciously

"what !! you miss him? " Stefan questioned in confusion making her to come back to perhaps unwanted reality and face him

"No" she lied looking into his eyes I feel him around, always me she thought as a matter of fact but she was not back to Stefan to hurt him " I wanted to know where is he , last time I spoke to him on phone he didn't sound well" she made an instant excuse.

He left the town Stefan replied breaking the hug leisurely unknowingly doing her a favor.

Without meeting me Elena whispered loudly to herself in disappointment.

Well, he needed to change place to move on Stefan replied slipping his hand in his pocket.

Or maybe he just needed us she spoke instinctively.

Something about her today was screaming out loud to him that she was not the same old Elena, she was not the same old Elena standing an inch away from him but having someone else in her thought, she was not the same old Elena who was missing someone else in his arms, the girl who could forget her world in his arms was could not even realize his presence all she has in her mind is Damon? His rational mind questioned him while his lovesick heart still ignored the apparent fact.

Today evening he had hoped to meet his old love Elena '.but either after months of patch up he expected more than allowed or his unknown sense was listening the scream right 'Maybe she was not the old Elena he blinked in complete shock and promised to himself I'm not losing you Elena 'not again.

Or maybe he needed solitude for sometimes to comprehend your decision, you cleared the glass with him, he knows now your love is for me even after all thick and thin you chose me, your heart picked me. He needs to understand this fact. He needs to understand our LOVE Elena. Stefan pronounced cupping her face.

What if he hurts himself? She asked worriedly looking into his eyes to which he just blinked and released her turning around. On getting no response from his she continued you know his temper has no limit , he could do anything , he could hurt himself and how could you let him go like this what if he does something to himself how would we help , He is your brother Stefan how could you do that.

Cause we had a deal, he shouted in frustration, annoyed on her worries for Damon because we had a deal Elena.
