Episode 17: Written Update :)

M is doing a CT scan on A. E is with M. E asks what she is looking for and M explains that she is looking for a tumor. If the reason is medical, she can treat it. E asks what if it is not. M says that they will deal with it. E questions how she knew it was A who was responsible for the murders. M explains that her mother wrote about Samantha Gilbert in her journal. She also speaks about her want to protect him since they first met.

A is waiting while lying down in the CT scan. He sees his face slowly change in the screen, as if it's turning evil. He starts to hyperventilate. M asks if he is alright. He closes his eyes and looks at himself. He turns into the face in the screen and responds to M: everything is okay.

E explains that M found nothing. A says that there is nothing wrong with him. He gives E the ring, saying he doesn't want it anymore. E takes it.

D enters, commenting that A looks terrible. E glares at him.

D tells her not worry about A. E scolds him for making S feed on an innocent girl. D says that he made S feed on the girl, because they are vampires. E says that S got around it before. D says that was when S and E were all about rainbows and unicorns. It's different now. E goes into her car after saying D that he isn't the right person to teach S self-control.

C comes in with blood bag. B comments on her mother not adjusting to the vampire thing very well. B's mother says that she cannot feel her garden anymore. B explains to C that witches can feel life and now she can't feel it because she's a vampire. B feels helpless.

D says that R is up to something. He is with M and A. A asks why they are in the construction site. D: The world can't stop just because you're an accidental psycho killer. M to D: Do you have any tact whatsoever. Ms. Lockwood asks A for the construction site sign. A tells M to get him out of there.

D sees a familiar face. He leaves the group to meet his former teacher, Sage. D asks why she is here. R shows up. R and Sage exchange tense words. Sage is aware of Finn being freed from the casket. Sage and Finn seem to have a connection, and R doesn't like her.

E sees S pouring blood into a glass. E apologizes, she didn't know S was home. S says that he just came home. E came to pick up a book about Samantha Gilbert. E asks of his well-being, but S responds curtly. S volunteers to tell Samantha's story: Samantha was committed into a mental asylum. She attempted to give herself a lobotomy, but she died instead. S warns E that if A is going through the same thing, the situation cannot be helped.

Sage and D are walking. Sage explains that F turned her so that they can be together forever. But Klaus locked him in the casket and she has been waiting for him together. Sage asks about R, and D explains that R just wants something from him, but he doesn't know what. Sage says that she can get into R's mind. D tells that she is an original. However, Sage persuades D to exploit her weakness and she can take it from there.

D to R: Did I tell you that you're sexy when you're bitchy. R plays hard to get and points out that he used her for his brother. R says that he was mean to her and D says that she likes mean. D offers her to a drink party with Sage. R rejects him. D tells her to enjoy herself and leaves.

C comes over to Jamie and asks why he isn't with Abbey. She finally realizes he is scared of her. C gives him a pep talk.

E updates C on A's condition. She asks C for help.

M and A flirt for a while. A tells her he has to tell her something. A explains that he killed her cousin who was a vampire once. M asks why he never tried to kill D. A says that he did but it didn't work out. D killed him.

D stops S from drinking another blood bag. He tells S to control himself. S warns D to keep him out of Damon and Elena's conversations. D complies and tells S to get out of the house before Sage and R come over.

Jamie comes over. B welcomes him in to make a fire. Jamie sees Abbey. They hug. However, Abbey loses control and bites him. B intervenes and Abbey regains conscious.

D, R, and Sage have a "party" with a human pianist. D dances with Abbey which makes R jealous so she feeds on the pianist. D comes over and also drinks from the pianist. They end up kissing. Abbey grins from the sofa.

She gives her the blood to drink. Abbey rejects it saying that she can't do this. B tells Abbey to not give up on this. She takes the blood from B.

C informs them that Jamie is fine. C asks for a favor.

A is giving E all his account information and will information, just in case. E hands it back to him, saying not to think like that. E assures him that they will all be fine.

C calls E about A. C says that B may be able to help reverse the spell. B tells c to give the phone. B informs E that they need something that he wore before the spell. E thanks for helping. The conversation is tense. E looks sad.

Sage is standing nearby while d and R lie in bed. She comes over and caresses r's face. Her eyes are illuminated and D begins to speak, but Sage hushes him. She begins to strip. They are now in the shower. Sage kisses D in the shower in order to show him what she saw in R's mind. It is about another oak tree that R is interesting in. D is looking for a business record book with Milling registry. The oak tree was apparently in Salvatore estate. That's why R has been digging around in their house. He finds the book while Sage is on the lookout for R. he opens the book to a page with Wickery Bridge written on it.

S meets E. E asks why he is here. He knows more about Samantha. Samantha killed a nurse and a guard in the asylum. She was on suicide watch. E concludes that the person can still be violent, regardless if the ring is still on.

A wakes up form sleep after hearing M's voice. A walks to a bag while M is in the kitchen. He is taking out needles, releasing the tranquilizer liquid from it.

Sage asks D if he found the book. D fills in about the Wickery Bridge being made of the oak tree. Sage asks if he realizes why this may be a problem for. D realizes that she doesn't want Finn to die, because the oak tree can kill originals. Sage threatens D, but D makes a deal: He will kill Rebecca and Sage can happily go off with Finn.

S asks what will happen if B's spell doesn't work. E says that she will just keep searching. S says it might be too late. E thinks that it is her responsibility. S explains that not everyone can be saved. E says that she will not give up on A, nor will she give up on S. S opens the drawer and finds pictures of A's victims.

D finds that Sage is gone.

E finds a letter to Jeremy from A. there is hit list for killing. And it is Founders' Council Roster. E is shocked because A has written the letter and the hit list. E finds the ring and is rushing to head back home.

A asks M a question: does she veer feel remorse? M is surprised with the question. A picks up a knife while continuing his question. A pinpoints that she is a council member and she is ignoring the responsibility of hunting vampires. He strikes her with the knife. A is on the chase but M manages to lock herself up in the bathroom after stabbing his hand.

D finds that the oak wood is burning at the Wickery Bridge. He was double crossed by R and sage. D and Sage have a feud and D tells her that Finn doesn't love her. He was the one willing to commit suicide; he was the first to volunteer.

E comes home and A informs her that M went to the hospital for duty. E sees that his hand is injured and A lies about a broken coffee cup. A asks if S caught up with her. E says no. he asks for his wedding ring (which he went to retrieve for B's spell).E lies that she couldn't find it. They both stare at a bloody knife (used to attack M). A attempts to attack E, but S reaches there and knocks him unconscious. S figures out M is injured in the bathroom. Though S struggles to control his urge to drink M's blood, he cures her with vampire blood.

D is sitting beside A's bed. He wakes up and asks what happened. D informs him that he has an alter ego with killing council members. D also tells him that B has already done the spell and that he is going to be on house arrest in the loft. A asks for M. D says, she'll be fine, Ric.

B comes into the kitchen where E is. She gives her some kind fo weed to feed A twice a day. E asks about B's mother. B tells her that she and Abby are going to gardening. B is going to stay with Abbey for a while. E apologizes, crying. B hugs her. E asks for forgiveness and B gives it willingly.

C is gardening with Jamie. She realizes that Abbey is up. Abbey is writing a letter. She is about to leave. C attempts to persuade Abbey but fails. Abbey leaves.

E calls Jeremy.

E: Hey stranger.

J: You checking up on me?

E: do you need checking up on?

J: Well, im not flunking any of my classes. Yet. And I got a dog.

E: hey, have you talk to Alaric.

J: No, why? Is everything ok?

E: Everything is fine. I just wanted to hear your voice.

J: Hey, can I call you later. I'm actually on my way out with some of my friends.

E: Yeah, go out. Go have some fun. I just miss you.

J: Yeah, I miss you too.

E is crying as she cuts the phone.

S is drinking. D enters. S informs D that he was able to control himself. D says that if S is happy then he is happy. S asks why is he in such a good mood. D says that he is a philanthropist. He makes the world a better place: historical landmarks, and historical sign that is made of the same oak wood that kills originals. D reveals the wooden sign behind the brown paper. S realizes that Sage and R think all the wood burned. D informs S that he sold them with his rage.

S: We have a weapon.

D: Game's back on brother. Let's go kill some originals.

They grin at each other in accomplishment.
