I was just going through IMDB and came across this post about someone's visit to sets...
No production boys..no vanity vans!! 👏
Excerpt from the post:
"We then go over and talk to some of the security people outside. One of them, a girl. She was fun to talk to. It was nearing 6pm, so we head into the kitchen area to grab some dinner and then we sat down. I was too excited to eat anything as I waited for Ian or ANYone to walk through the doors that were across the room from the sets. All of a sudden, the doors open and out walks Sara Canning! She got her food then walked back to the sets. A few other people walked in and out of those doors and then the next person I saw was Matthew Davis (Alaric)!! I really wanted to talk to him but I was too nervous. And then Paul Wesley came out after him. BAH! My inner fangirl was squealing with delight. I also wanted to talk to him but couldn't find the courage to talk to him. They both got their food and walked back to the sets. More and more people walked back and forth from the sets, but alas, no Ian.
I was getting mildly disappointed. But then, I swear to God, it was like slow motion. The doors swung open and there he was! My mouth dropped and then formed into probably the silliest grin my face could think of. I probably looked like a freak. lol. But my uncle doesn't watch the show, so when I was telling him about Ian he had no idea who I was talking about until I pointed him out as he was walking past us. My uncle then turned to me and said, "Oh, that guy! That guy is cool and hilarious!" I just stared at my uncle, bewildered that he actually talks to Ian on a regular basis on set. Mind. BLOWN. He then pulled Ian over as Ian was about to walk back through the doors and told him that I wanted to meet him. I froze, totally freaking out, not sure what I was going to say. He then looked at me, and let me tell you, ladies, his eyes are a gazillion times more gorgeous in person. He then smiled, took my hand and asked me what my name was. I told him, then he said, "I have potatoes in my mouth so please excuse me." Then he KISSED my hand and said, "Well it was very nice to meet you, Paige." I about died!! I told him it was nice meeting you, too and he told me he had to go back to work and he said, "See you, later, babe." NOT JOKING. Seriously, he's such a huge flirt! My friend that went to EyeCon in Atlanta had a similar experience where he flirted with her during their photo op."
One thing that struck me was those "teen God" actors go to kitchen and picks up their own food!!! That is soo freaking humble and awesome!! ⭐️
