I am still confused about Matt-Caro-Mom stuff. It's damn confusing in general and I cannot wait until Tyler comes. I prefer him with Caro than Matt any day,

I think Matt was on vervain when he went to Caroline, which is why he still remembered everything at the end. Caroline mentioned to Stefan that she didn't put any vervain in Matt's system that day but I think Liz...I mean Sheriff Forbes gave him vervain so he would be able to get the truth out of Caroline and tell her about it after.

In the fact that he's been drinking it? I dunno, he's just trying to build up an immunity to it like Katherine has. Him and Damon are both, and I think Elena is drinking it too.

Yeah because they now know originals can compel vampires as well as humans... They're protecting themselves from his compulsion this way...

Oh are you serious? I thought they were just drinking it so they can build up an immunity, like Jaan said. Elena is drinking it because she doesn't want Stefan going through with it alone.😳😆oh, how I love the love she has for him! <3

Yeah they are building immunity towards it now more than ever though because of Klaus and his compulsions...

so Klaus will not be able to compel them? But Katherine built up an immunity towards vervain and Elijah was still able to compel her? :/

But as long as Stefan & Damon have Vervain in their system they can't be compelled because Katherine was in the tomb for a few days the Vervain she had drank had left her system... Leaving her vulnerrable to Elijah's compulsions...
