I have read the books aswell and i love them.. the latest book came out i think 3 days ago my friend ordered it and i will read it once she gets it.. and hell yeh the show is awesome.. OMG..Eric is like a Greek God!!He is soo hot.. and yes the show is a bit mature.. but come on i really don't care at all, it about the story line.. and i love it.. & tithi21 (sorry, don't know your name): Awesome! Another DB shipper as far as the show! As far as Elena, I will say she deff had more personality than show, they make her so sobby on the show. But I'm sure it will change soon...

Elena is pretty dull and boring in the show, Book Elena is more fun.I hate Nina's acting actually, they should cast somebody who can act.She is pretty but she can't act.

I was hoping for at least I will find something in DE dance but Nina ruined it.Ian was as usual awesome but Nina urgh...😡

DE could be a great couple but not with Nina and not with this Elena.

I like Kat and Ian's chemistry and I like Bamon.Between I like Bonnie in the last episode.Smart move but I know Damon would be more smarter.😉
These two has started their journey with hatred, so I guess they would be a great couple.We all know most of the great TV couples begin their journey with hatred.

Whoa okay so I just went through...*counts*...oh forget it I'm bad at math! I just went through a dozen or so pages of the thread, and I'm gonna try and collect my thoughts and lay them out as neatly as I possibly can here. So bear with me. 😆 Plus I've caught up all the way to 1x21, so, you know, go me! 😆

Bonnie:
OMG I hated what they did to her character in the show. I get the whole thing about why she hates vampires because, well, they've caused her nothing but misery, but I was really, really, really looking forward to the kind of BFF-isms between Bonnie and Elena in the show that they had in the books, so it was really a letdown when Bonnie did...or rather, didn't remove the spell. I do understand that...oh crap, the thought's gone...hang on...okay yeah it's gone. damn. Moving along then. I totally understand that vampires have made her life miserable. A) trying to save Stefan killed her Grams. B) her best friend is in love with a vampire and pretty much uses her for her witchyness now. so as far as I'm concerned, I guess she's justified in her hatred. I guess I was just hoping that Bonnie would be more like the Bonnie in the books, and when she came back things would be fine between her and Elena again. But yes, I do agree that Bonnie and Caroline are pretty strong, as much as I hate to admit it. (Seriously, Jaan, don't even TOUCH the books).

Jeremy/Anna:
NOOO they CANNOT kill off Anna! Not when Jeremy's so happy! I love Jeremy, and although it miffed me at first that he got Anna (just a fangirl thing, it's got nothing to do with the show 😆), she really does love him, and she makes him happy, and, well, he's already such a messed-up kid, and I don't want to see him any more messed-up. But he's being a total jerk (and that's so much of an understatement, it's insane...*shakes head) to Elena. Does he not understand that Elena was keeping all that from him just to protect him?

Elena-shippings:
I have to admit, I'm a SE fan through and through. But I love the chemistry that DE have. (SPOILER! Well, for Radz, at any rate...😆) When they bonded over Stefan's...what do you call it?...in 1x19-20 or something, they were truly adorable. And I suppose I wouldn't mind seeing them get closer, but it totally tore me up inside when SE hit that rough patch when Stefan went crazyoverboard with his people-blood thing. I am looking forward to the finale though, I can't wait to see what they've got planned for DE.

Hmm...I'm not sure what else I have to say right now...Oh!

I HATE how far they've changed the storyline from the books, but I do like that Stefan and Damon used to get along before they got turned!

Like someone before mentioned, if she wasn't going to do it anyway, she should have just said no, but instead she deceived all of them, and when Elena finds out, she is going to be so pissed off...*sighs and shakes head* BookBonnie was so much better )=

P.S. I think some of my thoughts came out a little shallow, so excuse me for that...it's simply too early to be up on a Sunday morning, yet here I am...😆

When they first started it I thought it would be boring (and a bunch of old guys 😆) but I was seriously surprised when I watched it and I love how they have a young cast and not an old one 😛...

Anyway... I've decided to hold off on the TVD books just yet (final decision) because they're (apparently) really different from the show and that annoy's the hell outta me (when a show is too different from the books)...

Merlin? 😲 Me too! OMG Arthur is so yummy. And Merlin has such amazing cheekbones! Granted, they changed a lot from the original myth, but it is SUCH an awesome show! I'm more for Arthur-Merlin slash rather than Arthur-Gwen though...😳 And I blame Radz for that. *nods* 😆

And ahh yes it's good that you're holding off from the books. You cannot imagine how...😳...for lack of a better word...I am with the show for changing so much. 😆
