Shadi by chance part 3

Dadi: choti Gulati tu (with anger in her voice) teri himat kaise hui mere kappu ki shadi bigadnne ki

(Sarla is standing still; she has no idea, what to say and how to explain... she is scared, she can feel the sensation of her heart palpitating, forcing ripples of its throbbing blood directly to her temples, she is afraid of the fact that what kappu will think about her, where this situation will lead their relationship, what will be the next step taken by her and kappu's family...sweat poured down her forehead to her cheeks as she stayed still.)

Sarla ki koi galati nhi m batata hu (an aged man comes forward)

Dadi: (with a muddled face) samdhiji!!!

Lotery's father: ji sarla ki koi galati nhi...m batata hu kya hua h

FLASHBACK

The atmosphere is beautiful and filled with rituals and ceremonies, filled with laughter's and happiness, everyone is busy with their works, and everybody have some task to perform for the wedding. lottery do not stay in Mumbai that's why all the rituals are happening in Gulati's residence. It is difficult for sarla to hide her sadness and get involved in the marriage but she is trying her level best to not show her pain to people around her, only her dad Dr guati knows that how unhappy her daughter is and it is getting difficult for him to see her child in this much pain but sarla has convinced her dad to be calm and enjoy the wedding as she is happy in kappu's happiness. Sarla is busy in decorating house, managing things, dealing with cateres, tent vala, fool vala in short she wants herself to be busy so that she could get over with the pain which is emerging in her heart but it's not easy for her...there are times when there's an aura of grey around her and she finds places to cry hard. But with all these things she is a strong woman and wants to deal with this situation all alone.

Sarla: are bhaiya mene aapse kha tha chole bhatoore jaroor bnane h...mere ka... (she realize what she' s going to say but stops herself without completing the sentence) I mean dulhe ko chole bhatoore boht pasnd h or aaj k din to uske pasnd ki cheeze honi hi chiye... jaiye jake banaiye ...m koi bahane nhi sunungi...

Suddenly she heard a woman's sobbing and she quietly stands near to that room

Lotery's father: tum ro mat sb thik hojaega

Lotery's mother: kya thik hoga ji...ab kya bataenge kappu k parivar ko, ki hmari ladki ye shadi chor kr kha chali gai

Sarla : kya????lotery shadi chor kr chali gai ???? (she comes inside and lock the room from inside)

Lotery's father comes forward and hand over a letter to sarla's

Dear papa mama

I know it would be shocking and painful for you but I can't marry kappu, I have some other dreams... I've always done the things according to you...have always tried to be a good daughter of yours, have tried to be an obedient daughter but I'm sorry I cannot marry a guy whom I don't love...I love someone else and want to marry him... though I will not marry him without your permission but you have left no option for me else running from this wedding...kappu is a nice guy I'm sure he'll get someone better than me... ma pa I LOVE YOU hope you'll understand my situation...

Lottery

Sarla: (sarla sits on bed...inevitably tear emerges into her eyes and falls down to her cheeks... "the pain" that her kappu will go through is making sarla agitated) nhi ye nhi ho skta, ye nhi ho skta... kappu...(her emotions explodes out she clenched both of her fist and let out a loud agonizing cry) ab kya hoga... kappu kitna pyaar krrta h lottery se... ab kya hoga...

Lotery's mother and father get shocked seeing sarla's reaction lotery's mother comes forward and try to console sarla

Lotery's mother: beta ro mat... sb theek hojaega...hmari galti h hmne hi apni beti k dil ko samjha nhi bina soche samjhe jo dil m aya kre chale gaye...is vjha se na jane kitne log dukhi honge...pr tu chinta mt kr hm kuch sochte h...

Lotery's father: soch liya

Lotery's mother: soch liya itni jaldi????

Lotery's father: han suno...

Sarla wipes her tears and carefully listen to him

Lotery's father: sarla beti ek kaam kro lotary ki jgha tum kappu se shadi krlo

Sarla: kya nhi...kabhi nhi ...ye ho hi nhi skta...m kappu ko dhoka nhi de skti...I mean kisi bhi insaan k liye is bara dhoka or kuch ho hi nhi skta...shadi h uncle ye, Mazak nhi h

Lotery's father: dekho beta m bhi janta hu ye Mazak nhi h or m ye bhi janta hu ki tum kappu se pyaar krti ho...or tum itni pyarri ladki ho ki samay ke sath tum se koi bhi pyaar krne lgega but beta abhi problem ye h.. itne sare log aye h kappu k dost ristedaar...pta nhi kha kha se aaye h...chalo hme apni to koi chinta nhi pr kappu or uske parivaar ki bhi socho kitni bezati hogi...beta samjhne ki kosis kro do parivaar bikhar jayenge...shadi ho jaegi or tumhara chera sirf fir ghar pe dikhega logo ko... tb tk adhe se jyada dost or ristedaar jo itne important nhi h jaa chuke honge...beta m janta hu ye boht galat step h bt hmare paas iske sivay koi chara nhi h...

Sarla : uncle nhi... m nhi...

Lotery's father: beta at least kappu k liye tumhe ye krna padega

Lotery's mother: han vese mujhe ye idea pasand h or sach bataun to mujhe dil se lag rha h ye faisla beshak galat ho pr ye boht shi faisla ban jayega samay k sath tum dono k liye

Sarla: pr aunty...

Lotery's mother: beta please taiyaar ho jao please... Bharosa rakho mujh pr...

Sarla is confused whether this will be a right decision or not but what force her to do this is lotery's mother's instinct that this will going to be a right decision for both kappu and herself and she believes that a mother's instinct cannot be wrong for her children and Lotery's mother has always treated her like her child.

Flashback end

Dadi: kya????lottery bhag gai ???? (dadi sits on chair placing his hand on his forehead) hey bhagwaan meri bache ki zindagi m ye kaisa mazaak kr rhe ho aap

Everybody is shocked after listening whole story and talking to each other about the situation...

Dadi stands up and put her hands on sarla's head "chal ab jo kuch ho gya ...ho gya...ab purani baato pe miti dalo...bhagwaan ne jo kuch kiya hoga ache ke liye hi kiya hoga...chal choti Gulati , mera mtlab bahu ab aage ki rasme krte h...kappu...kappu tu kha ja rha"

kappu without uttering a word started moving towards the gate

Sarla: kappu...(dadi stops her "jane de putr use thora waqt chiye mera bacha boht strong or smajhdaar h vo samjh jayega chinta na kr tu")

Sarla is worried to see kappu... he has never reacted like this...he has never been so quite over any situation

Kappu leaves the room leaving worried and flustered sarla behind

Kappu is sitting in an empty hall on a chair...he has so many feelings which are emerging inside him...and with that feelings he has many questions too for those feelings...his heart is relaxed...everything about the moment comes so alive, he wants to smile but he stops himself telling that he cannot smile because he is sad...but deep inside his heart he is excited and feeling good about everything...he can feel his heart beat rising... "why I am feeling so good" this is the first time since his marriage talks were revolving around he feels satisfied and cheerful but the questions which is annoying him is "is he happy???" "if yes, why?? "
