RaHi were canon in season 1 but now nothing is confirmed. Ranveer's convo with Chintu was symbolic, CVs were trying to show that Ranveer & Panchi have moved on and they are going to be best buddies only.
But then that magical RaHi hug... that was SOMETHING <3
Just look at them they are PERFECT TOGETHER.
The happiness on their faces... Ranveer's smile... Panchi was like... finally found HIM <3
Chintu's expression was like "Who are they kidding..." or "Who is he (Ranveer) kidding... she means much more than just a best buddy"
On a positive note... it seems, sooner or later Ranveer and Panchi will realize that they belong together.

I think Panchi still has feelings for Ranveer (Certainly it's not a mere crush, something more than that).
Even non fans can see RaHi are meant to be, then why not CVs.. or maybe CVs can see that and planning someting good for RaHi. (but Cvs and RaHi! Nah!) Also PH and CVs need to realize RaHi have a huge fanbase too... many fans have stopped watching TBP due to lack of RaHi.
Anyway, CVs hear it loud and clear - VeeNi or MiChi or ViChi track can be there but ultimately it has to be our RaHi. Most of the TBPians want RaHi to end up together as a couple too, it's the Viewers choice.
Now it's up to the CVs and PH.
