CHAPTER 2:
~Next Morning~Kiya got up with the wost possible headache. She headed towards the washroom to freshen up at the end of the corridor. She heard noises coming from the living room. "My parents are usually till asleep as they work alot to earn money."Kiya thought to herself. she headed to see whats the noise going around out of curiosity.
"I hope you take a decision soon it really pains us to see our son act this ways" Kiya heard a womans voice.
"We completely understand. But are you sure that Kiya can help change ur sons ways?" she heard Annie, her step mom say. "Oh no what is she upto? i hope i am not in trouble" Kiya thought to herself.
"who were the talking about? me changing whom?" Kiya took the last step into the Living Room.
"Kiya sweety, come sit down" Annie said faking sweetness. Kiya sighed and went and sat down.
A fancily dressed couple sat their in front of Kiya. As she looked at her parents she saw a uncertain expression on their face. "whats going on?" Kiya asked confused looking from the couple to her parents.
"She is absolutely gorgeous.!" the lady exclaimed with happiness. "oh-ya i always thought to get her into modeling." Annie said. "what is wrong with my her why is she acting so wired? Praising me is something i rarely see her do?" Kiya thought to herself as she was getting confused.
"i am sure we can help with that if u want" the man replied.
Mr. Gujral gave an unsure smile and then said " Sweetie this is Mr and Mrs Desai owners of the Four Season hotels all around the country."
"W-w-aait , Desais...do you have a daughter called Avantika Desai? Kiya finally let out.
"Why yes...do you know her sweetie?" Mrs. Desai replied excitedly.
"yes we actually met yesterday" Kiya replied giving a smile wondering at the same time where all of this is heading to.
"well thats great... its getting late. We should be off. i am sure your parents will explain everything you need know" Mr. Desai said. Mr and Mrs Desai both stood up along with my parents. " We'll see you soon Annie."Mrs Desai replied she gave a small hug to Annie and my dad and Mr. Desai shook hands and they finally left.
Kiya stood there with her hands crossed as she waited for her parents to explain all of this.
"we just want you to know that we love you honey...this doesnt mean we are giving you away or somthing" Dad start uncertainly which further confused Kiya.
"Kiya your getting married to Keshav Desai" Annie cut short her though process.
"WHAT?" Kiya shouted finally coming a conclusion as to what was going on.
"Keep your Voice down...Angel will wake up" Annie hissed. "sit and listen to the whole thing first." "Yeah sure all she care about is her daughter Angel, but she is one cutie afterall she was only 3 year old." Kiya thought to herself.
"i still cant believe my own dad would agree to such a thing" Kiya thought to herself!"However this marriage will be only a temporary thing like for an year or so after that you will be free, You see Mr and Mrs. Desai want you to look after KD (Keshav Desai commonly known as KD)...kind of like tame him...ummm...also act as his wife make him settle down and ditch his..PlayBoy ways.."Kiyas Dad added. Kiya came back to her sense a bit and asked "you mean kind of like babysit him?""in a way yes but not quite...Mr.Desai believes that if you marry KD then he will become a bit more responsible." Annie replied.
"Mr. Desai also told us of how you made their son KD pick up your books for you. They said it was the kindest think they have watched their son do in the ages." Kiya's Dad added.
"So that arrogant guy was Keshav Desai aka KD...which means Avantika is the sister of that Stoneface?OMG..."Kiya was once again lost in her own trail of thoughts when Annie cuts in "Kiya do this for once...think about all the fame our family will get? why cant you help your family? be a better girl" Kiya was almost losing her calm when she asks.."Dad you also want me to do this?"
After a few minutes of silences her dad spoke up " Kiya thinking it as helping a Billionaires son?" "Dad i cant believe you out of all the people are saying this...i shouldnt have expected anything other than you to take your wife's side" Kiya unable to control anymore starts to cry and runs towards her room.
In her room after a few hours of crying she finally comes up with a pro and con list.
The Pro and Cons list of getting married to KD
Positive
- Being able to take the advantage of controlling KD.
- Being able to be the same class as everyone ( possibly getting revenge on
Ruby and her barbie army)
- Making my parents proud especially shutting up Annie
- Being able to live in a big house
- Lastly taking advantage of their wealth, ( but that would be mean
considering they're a nice family, minus Stoneface, so its a positive and a negative)
Negative
- Being laughed at or hurt by people if they found out I'm the one married to
Keshav Desai because all the girls will hate me, maybe even killed by them
- Having to be around KD
- Getting surrounded by rich and snobby kids
- Possibilities of having to go to social parties with rich people
- The thought of actually becoming a wife, even if temporary
~the next day~
Kiya arrived at college entrance and was busy thinking about all the factors whenonce again she bump into someone. When she looked up,She was surprised to see KD, staring emotionless at her.
" Is it my fault again?" He bluntly asked but she was too mesmerized by his looks;
he had short black hair that was styled in a sexy and messy way. The familiar
brown eyes that his family members had, those pink lips, soft skin that you'd want
to touch forever if he held onto you, and stood around 6'2.
" I know I'm good looking but can you stop staring at me?" He frowned making
Kiya snap out of her deep thought.She gave a scoff, " Whatever."
" Whatever? Your really going to say that to your future husband?" He acted asif he was surprised.
" H-how?" Kiya stuttered, waiting for an answer.
" My dad told me yesterday after he saw our little mishap," He spoke,sounding disgusted and annoyed, "And since we both clearly don't want to getmarried to each other...You should say no, because you'd be the last personI'd want to be seen with."The way he said those words were like a slap to Kiya's face, in fact more than that, itwas just plain out rude. This guy needs extreme help. Thats when it hit her.
She decided. " I will make his life a living hell...i have my sweet revenge on Stoneface" Kiya thought with a smile on her face.
