CHAPTER 10

The next morning Kiya was confused as what do wear cause she wanted to look good, now that KD was her Bf she needs to show the girls that he only belongs to her and they should stay away. Tina finally barged into the room as Kiya was taking a lot of time to see whats up.

Tina: Kiya? You aren't ready yet? What are you doing? We are getting late. I need to attend this lecture or else Roshini maam would kill me.

Kiya: Tinaaa!!! I am confused and I am so not sure what to wear. (Whining)

Tina: come here. I'll help you. Finally they picked up a dress. Kiya did her necessary makeup and they left for college. In college as Tina had a lecture she rushes past Kiya saying she will meet her at 2 in canteen and KD would mostly be out by 12:30. Kiya checked the time to realize it was only 11:10. What was she to do? She texted KD:

Kiya *where are you? I am here*

KD: *in class will come ASAP*

Kiya: * you and your classes school mein also you never bunked anything! College mein toh change yourself*

KD: * you want me to change? So you think I should go out with other girls once you aren't here?*

Kiya: *where did girls come from? Enough KD don't you dare do that. Go and attend you class. I'll go see if I can find some "guy" to entertain myself*

KD: *Kiya don't you dare do any such thing. These guys are dangerous.*

Kiya: *dangerous? Or you are afraid that I would find someone better than you?*

KD: *what if I say both? I can't lose you chicklet. Abhi toh meri life has becoming better. If you go then toh for sure I'll not know what I will do.*

Kiya: *shut up KD I will never leave you always remember that, that to for another guy cause for Kiya Gujral you and only you are the best. Now see you in canteen. Come soon I am waiting *

KD: *areey haan I am coming as soon as I am able to come out.*

(Kiya sits around getting bored in canteen. A random guy appears with a coffee in his hands.)

Guy: hi. Coffee?

Kiya: no thanks!

Guy: (sits on the empty chair) I am Niranjan. And you?

KIya: (tries to ignore but the guy is continuously troubling her. She stands up finally to go somewhere else but the guys holds her hand :Leave my HAND!

N: ohh so you finally speak. Then why were you ignoring me? No one ignores me. You will have to pay. Now be a good girl and come with me.

Kiya: W*F! Who are you? I am not going anywhere. (In mind)KD please come and save me. Please!

Mean while in KD's class. Reading his chicklets text he isn't able to concentrate. He wanted to go and meet her. And he was worried as something inside was telling him that she is in trouble. Finally he decides to go check on her himself. And he takes permission for washroom and leaves. As he enters the canteen he sees his princess being troubled by the guy whom he has seen troubling many other girls before. And when he sees Kiya almost in tears he couldn't take it anymore.

KD (to the guy): what are you doing with her?

Niranjan: mind your own business and don't interfere. Who is she to you anyways?

KD: (in anger): she is my girlfriend and don't you dare touch her.

Niranjan: Ohhh so the angry young man is here. Are you going to hurt me?

KD is about to punch him but Kiya being herself stops him.

Niranjan: so you are going to let me go?

KD: abbey (was going to punch him)

Kiya: come on KD let us go. He isn't worth it.

Saying this she drags him away from there. After reaching a deserted place KD hugs her and holds her face in his hands.

KD: are you okay Kiya?

Kiya: I am fine now that you are here. Don't you ever leave me alone. (Saying this she hugs him.)

KD: Never. Now cheer up I am taking you out as its time we have fun. I am taking this day off.

Kiya: okay sure lets go.

Both were happy as they were going to spend time with each other without trouble. They decided to go to KD's place as they had lots to talk and since Delhi was a crowded place. It would be difficult to actually go anyplace. They sat there and talked about everything. All their fears, concerns etc.

It was getting late and since Tina had left the car for Kiya he went to drop her till the car. As they were walking it started to drizzle.

Kiya: kya kar rahe ho KD? Why are you asking me to walk faster?

KD: it is going to rain heavily.

Kiya: (smiles) Ohh really? Let's wait na. I want to dance in the rain.

KD: are you mad? You will get sick. Chalo aab.

Kiya: nahi I am not going anywhere until I enjoy the rains.

KD: aree haven't played when you were small?

Kiya: no.. Mom always stopped me saying what will other people think and to care about her status. So please please KD?

KD: Acha fine. But only for a while.

They dance in the rain on Ishq wala love (disco version) as it was their favourite song. And finally it was time for Kiya to leave.

KD: reach safely. Bye (saying this KD kisses her on the forehead)

Kiya: yep I will text you when I reach. Bye.

Two hours had gone by and Kiya hadn't texted KD. he got worried. He called her but she didn't pick up. So he called up Tina.

Tina: what is it KD?

KD: is Kiya home?
