CHAPTER 2: FACING REALITY
Ranveer: "Who is Panchi Rastogi???"
Some girls in the canteen pointed towards panchi who was quietly sitting in the back praying that he would not notice her. He saw her and slowly walks towards her.
Ranveer: Are you Panchi Rastogi???
Panchi: Uhmmm...Yes.
He gives her the letter in his hand and Panchi felt relieved that he replied to her letter.
Panchi: I never thought that you would reply to my letter.Thank you...Can i look at it now??? Here???
Ranveer: Your wish...
She opens the letter with excitement and happiness... But her face turned pale white as she read the letter. a girl standing near her snatched the letter from her.
Bobby: Hey you give the letter back
Juhi: What do you think you are doing???
Girl: What is this? Panchi actually wrote a love letter to Ranveer?
Juhi: you give that letter back right now...
Girl: OMG He corrected the wrong words. What kind of a letter is this? Looks more like an exam script.. The score is a "D".
All the other girls in the canteen started laughing. Panchi was further embarrassed when the girl started reading her letter. A lone tear escaped from her eyes as the girls started making fun of her.
Girl:"I dont actually consider you as Ranveer. You are the guy from from my dreams." OMG she actually wrote the guy from her dreams.. "If you ask me the reason why i like you..."
Suddenly she was interrupted by an angry voice
"What do you think you are doing??? You find it fun to publicly humiliate a girl???"
Panchi: Rahul!!!!!
Ranveer: Its a pity that it turned out like this but
Juhi: But what????
Ranveeer: I hate stupid girls the most.
Rahul: Hey where are you going??? Apologize right now..
Ranveer: What do you want me to apologize for?? For correcting her mistakes?
Rahul: This jerk!!! Do you only see the mistakes inside? Dont look only at the words look at the content also. You should see the feelings inside.
Ranveer: Move aside. I dont like to talk to people who are an embarrassment to school because of your very low marks.
Saying this he leaves the canteen leaving behind a very angry Rahul, Juhi and Bobby and an upset Panchi. Panchi runs out of the canteen with people laughing at her
(Later at the ground)
Juhi: Panchi stop eating chocolates and lets go back.
Panchi: Just 1 more.
Bobby: What is wrong with her. Eating chocolates is not gonna solve anything.
Juhi: You know right, whenever Panchi is upset or depressed she eats chocolates.. That guy was just a jerk to her. I wonder why she ever liked him???
Bobby: That's enough Panchi. Let's go back now.
Panchi: Ok.
(In the canteen)
WHAT??? PANCHI WROTE A LOVE LETTER TO RANVEER
SHE MUST BE MAD
HOW DID SHE THINK TO CONFESS TO HIM WITH THAT KIND OF STANDARD. SHE'S NOT EVEN PRETTY.???LOSER
Panchi entered the canteen only to make more people gossip..
SSSHHH. HERE SHE COMES. THE REJECTED JULIET!!!
HOW CAN SHE FACE US EVEN AFTER GETTING PUBLICLY REJECTED???
SUCH A THICK SKINNED GIRL
Although embarrassed by the comments, Panchi held her head high.
"Just a little more and it will be all over. I'll forget him and everything will be back to normal." she assured herself
But somewhere in her heart she knew that it would be impossible.
