I can't believe I'm saying this. When I first started watching TBP, RaHi attracted me the most. Maybe because I've been a sucker for friendships like theirs. But somewhere along the line, they got lost. I was in love with them, I started my first FF on them and now I don't even feel like continuing it because when I watch the show, all my hopes and dreams regarding RaHi shatter into pieces. I honestly shed a few tears at Panchi's heartbroken face at the end. I can't believe Ranveer would do something like that. JJ told him that anger was a weakness. And who's he wasting it for? That Alien who treats him like absolute crap?
For her? He is willing to put a 10 year old friendship to test? For her, he's willing to put up with shit? For her, he's willing to even risk hurting his best friend not once, but a thousand times? For her, he's willing to drop his best buddy?
I honestly wasn't expecting this. I mean, I knew RV was a little brat right from the very beginning but what I didn't know was that he could turn into something so nasty. Poor girl planned so much for him, she knew he had to be hurting, she knew that his birthday meant a lot. Why would he do something like that? I understand that he's pissed off because no other girl has ever treated him like that, I agree that he's lost and he doesn't have a mentor and doesn't know what to do. But this? I hadn't expected this from the character I really liked.
It's like I read in an OS today; their relationship has nothing but toxicity and hopes from Panchi's side that one day, everything will be okay. That Ranveer, despite everything that has happened would forget everything and celebrate his birthday with her like he has been for a few years. And now, he does something so shallow, something so insensitive.
I'm sorry, but they've honestly lost their charm at the moment. Ranveer, my boy, get your act together. Don't let the best thing in your life go away.
Sorry for the little rant everyone, but I had to get this out.
