Thayumanavan was a good serial. Erm not was - is a good serial. Except at one moment the director lost it. Drag the serial and made us annoyed mostly. Still one good thing in this serial was the relationship Mathi had with his daughters. All 5 girls were different like 5 fingers. Though he brought them up equally - the 5 sisters has lots of differences between them. One thing that kept them united throughout is the love mathi planted within them. Each girls had their own history with mathi - except suchi i feel as she was staying away at grandparents house.

A lot of bloopers could have been avoided in the story. Like janani missing for some time and coming back suddenly - no one had any clue where she went or what happen. Suchi's mystery on changing suddenly and many others.

I only wished all 5 girls was there when mathi died. Felt like to much importance was given to one person (janani) while other girls were not around. As i think the others their crying scenes was from some past scene. Director should have made all 5 girls around mathi at that time - the impact would have been much better.

Still - overall i loved every character in this serial. Everyone played their part and role so well. I guess i will miss this serial for some time. Definitely will miss the title song at 7.30pm while am preparing dinner :)
