I think because the ratings not that good or to give the cast members that time to rest

Good thing, I would say. Everyone gets a day off in a week, why not ITV actors too. I think Being overworked would cause fatigue. As such there is no interesting support plot to take the pressure of the leads.

Let the creatives rest for one day and come up with new ideas rather than these old 90s ke stories
