I really disliked the episode. Not because he doesn’t love her, expected. Grateful the great Purab actually said he likes her. Hip hip hooray!…… but for the fact he told his bestie the reason for staying with Thapki, he promised her mom not to leave her. Then he in turn asked the con artist to “promise” him not to tell anyone!! Like seriously dude? 🙄🙄😡😡 And the casualness in that whole scene made me angrier., ya know, like it’s some ordinary thing! My heart broke for Thapki. I pray the so called writers have the guts and show her leaving him. Show her having some self respect.

The mixed feels continues....

The episode starts from where it ended yesterday, Purab holding back Taps and asking her what did she talk with her mother and his word duty.. Taps moves away saying she has to attend to the duty of a DIL. Purab see Jaya and ask her about the talk too. Jaya evades saying she is still upset about her Father's matter.

Hans decides to check if Taps is ready to leave Purab and questions her about talking to Purab about her feelings. Promo scene... Taps asks Hans why is she pressuring her, how does it benefit her? For a moment Hans is shocked coz she was thinking along the term 'benefit' herself. Taps then tells her that she knows that Hans knows about the promise her mom demanded of Purab and coz of that Purab can't leave her. Hans tries to act as if she didn't know anything first, then ask what Taps planned now. Taps says it is her her decision to make and leaves.

Taps is alone in the room, (in her melancholy pose by the bed on the floor) crying silently. She thinks she had accepted the way things were before, but now why does it hurt her so much.

Purab knocks on the door calling her to open up. Taps says she won't shed anymore tears and hoes to open the door. She tries to make it look like she is busy. Purab tells her that Jaya told him why she was upset and ask her not to let the matter of her father affect her do much. She needs to move on.

He then shows her the appreciation she received on her video. He notices that she is not happy about it. She asks him why was he doing this. He says she is really talented and he wants people to take notice if it. Taps ask if he would support anyone? He says only those who are talented and being her husband makes it his responsibility (some word along the similar feel). She moves away leaving Purab perplexed.

Next morning Taps is getting ready. She can't bind the last dori of her blouse. Purab comes over and tries to help. She jerks away and turns to face him. Purab says I am just trying to help. She shakes her hear in No. He huffs, turns her back and ties the dori, all the while admiring her and watching her reaction to his closeness. He then decides to help with the jewellery too. Finally gives his stamp of approval. His romance is interrupted by Sargam.

Dadi is all praises for the way Taps decorated the house. She assigns duties to everyone. Purab is not given any and is given the option to choose his own. He decides to help his biwi make laddos... Hugging her from behind while helping her to kneed the dough. Taps is at times influenced by his closeness, but then she remembers and some word in the casual conversation irks her. Purab notices that she is not her usual self.

Today Purab leaves no opportunity to have his arms around her or to touch her or be lost in her eyes. At the Surya Vandan Arti he prays that he can bring back her smile.

Okay so today Purab was on full on subtle seduction, leaving no chance to have his arms around her, watching her reaction. But the poor fellow's words one way or the other reminded Taps about the promise. One particular situation is worth mentioning, his answers to Taps question about why he uploaded the video reflected the words that he told Hans. 👏Good work writers.

So as I mentioned in another post, it seems though the realisation of love happened for Taps, the confession might come from Purab first. 👍🏼

No doubt you are a good story teller. You had me laughing whilst reading the update, especially the below. So funny. Seriously, when I saw her in that position, I was like, oh no...here we go again. Thinking he would come and see her sitting there and make some sarcastic remarks like the last time, not knowing she locked the door. Lol.

🤣Is there another daring and bold ML on ITV....I don't know but Purab is just too much. The guy just does not know the meaning of NO! Hahahaha. However, I want Thaps to give him a hard time. He gotta make up for flying his mouth with the bestie.

I found those hugs quite cute except for knowing about Tap's emotional turmoil. Han's made her move at the right point, it wouldn't have been long before Purab confessed. I was sure that Hans would get to know about the promise, and I am happy that it was not volunteered by Purab, he just accepted what Hans already knew. And he did say that he his emotions has changed since then. I don't feel much anger towards him about him telling Hans coz whatever we know of her criminal activities, he is unaware of it and to him she is his friend who know him from childhood, who must have been his support system while he felt abandoned by his mother. If anyone is to share part of the blame of him not knowing, it is Taps herself who knew about Hans involvement with Rohit yet saved her coz of family bond!! But as expected Taps heard only the incriminating part.

I feel his hugs were intended as much a romantic gesture as a way of comfort coz he felt she was hurting coz of her father. He kept watching her, to see her reaction. And she did like his closeness, until the point she remembered the situation. So yeah, I am not upset with Purab. Still, I wouldn't mind if Taps took a break from the Singhanias as it would be the catalyst that would bring his complete realisation of what Taps is to him.

I think Rohit trying to contact Sargam will ultimately lead to the Hans being exposed.

A damaka in the 100th episode... Congratulations to all the ThaRab fans ❤️

The family decides to start the kite fight... Between boys and girls. Purab is the resident champion, but Dadi says this time Taps will win.

Taps is working on her kite and Purab offers help. She pulls the kite from him saying she is not that helpless and cuts her finger. Purab sucks on her finger to stop the blood flow. Then pulls out the ever present fellow 'garam pateela' from his pocket and wraps it around her finger. He then tells her he knows that she is very self sufficient, but at times it is okay to take help too as there everyone does at one point or another. He fixes the kite for her and walks away.

Anshul and Preethi joins in the kite match that is going on. Anshul helps to steady Sargam's falling kite and Purab tells him not to join the enemy team. Sagar's kite falls under the combined attack of his wife and gf. Sargam cheats by going over to cut the thread (near the rolling pin) of Purab's kite. But Taps fixes it by tying back the thread. Purab says only his wife understands him. Throughout the match he keeps gazing at Taps.

Hans comes with her kite with has H❤T on it. She goes to Purab and says she will always support her best friend. She plans to cut Tap's kite. ThaRab kites get entangled and Dadi says to VD that they are always together, as they are meant to be. Hans thinks her kite will seperate their kites and in that attempt her kite gets cut and fall. Hans get worried seeing the kite fall at Tap's feet. But later on manages to make excuse about the symbol on her kite.

It is decided that to decide the winner Taps and Purab should have match. When the rematch starts Purab looks at Taps and see her still unsmiling. He thinks she might be tense about loosing. He deliberately slackens the tension on the string and everyone notices. Sagar tells him not to be a ghulam to his wife. He says it is his responsibility to support his wife. He goes over to her and tells her that he won't let her lose. But when he moves away, Taps let's her kite drop. Sagar tells Taps couldn't win even when Purab decided to lose, it is like Taps didn't have any talent at all.

Purab walks into their room to see Taps shedding silent tears. He tells her he know she is upset about something more than her father's issue like Jaya ma said and asks her what it is. He then says he is her husband and it is his right to know. Taps asks how does 'right' matter in responsibility. She says 'right' is given to those who accepts the other with full heart, not to those who is taking care of a responsibility. She then let's him know that she has learnt about his promise to her mother.

Precap: Shows Taps leaving Singhania mansion without telling anyone. Purab is searching for her. Taps moving to catch an auto (?) and there is a sound of crash.

It was a good episode for me. Our guy has caught on fast enough that what makes his biwi behave differently is more than just being sad about her father. His attempts to flirt with her were cute. Alas! his words reminded her of his promise.

Good that the confrontation happened without much delay and there the fact that she know about the promise is there in the open.

The question remains how Taps managed to go out of the house without Purab knowing, I am sure Hans will be aware as she keeps tabs on ThaRab. It is the only thing that upsets me about Taps leaving... That Hans is still with Singhanias.

Did Taps meet with an accident? She was walking in the middle of the road lost in thoughts... But then wouldn't another accident within a span of a week mean repeat?

But then there is the possibility of someone calling Singhania mansion and it is picked by Hans who does not inform anyone.. Umm.. Another sliver of suspicion on Hans. Or it could be VD who gets to know of the accident and thinks good riddance. Would the new entry make the appearance through this accident, as the one who helps Taps?

It was a senti episode, Taps saying goodbye to everyone which only she could hear.

Taps questions Purab and he tries to explain. She says answer like the way he demanded answer from her. So he answers yes to her questions regarding the promise and bringing her back after pagphere. She says you did everything for me so that I could support myself and you could leave meme. He objects to that saying he just wanted her to be independent. She says she is just a responsibility to him. He says that is not correct. She asks you consider married me, you consider me the bahu of this house and your wife but what do you feel for me, how will you name this relationship? Purab does not answer. His phone pings. He looks at it and then says She is too upset now, he needs to go to the office, they will talk in the evening and by then they would be calm. As Purab walks away, Taps thinks you have answered my question without saying word.

Sagar and Pre chatting.. Pri and Mami does jasoos work and is shocked. Pre had saved Sagar as Bubbly and Sag saved Pre's as Parithosh. Mami questions Pre about sending hug symbols to girls. Pre makes excuses and manage to escape.

Taps serves food to all at the table, as usual VD refuse. She thinks about the loving moments she shared with Vinod and Dadi. VD ask about Purab. # team says he was not seen for a while and asks Taps if everything is okay between them. Dadi tells Pri not to add her mirchi if she thinks the food lacks it and tells Purab had to go to office. Hans murmurs to # team that all is not well and do they know the reason. She tells them to enjoy the situation.

There is a scene between Pri and Pre. Pre reassures Pre that her husband is not thinking of guys. Pri deputes Pre to keep watch on Sagar.

Taps is back in their room and writes a letter to Purab in which she mention that she has freed him of his responsibility and to consider the letter as her resignation from his office too.

I am happy Taps walked off. May be her question was out if the blue for him to answer properly, but silence gave it an entirely different interpretation. He couldn't even give her the reassurance of the words he gave Hans about his relationship with Taps a day back. 😡 He disappointed me today.

Her world was in turmoil and he walked away. So she has the right to the space she created, away from him. I know we all want ThaRab to unite soon. I want her to find a means to support herself without Purab's help. May be the new entry could help her achieve that. I wouldn't even mind if she joined another music company 😆...
