I think that the buffalo has got a crush on Sankar. When it saw Thapki at first, it thought it was Sankar but then realised it was not her. This angered the buffalo. That is why it was attacking the family members.

Kya pta kal Gober uss bhains ko bhi blackmail krke mandap mein bithaaye Thapki ka dulha banaake😆
But Thapki will play the ace by doing brideswap n get Gober married to the handsome groom.😃
