This is the second time that the show is taking a leap.

Colors Thapki...Pyaar Ki has seen a lot of twists and turns in the show lately and the audiences will now see a new update on the show. According to our sources, the show will soon be taking a leap, and this time, the leap will be that of 5 to 7 years. But the writers have still not decided on the storyline. The leap, however, is confirmed.
This is the second time that the show is taking a leap. Earlier, it was a two-year leap, where Thapki came back in a new look

Earlier in Thapki Pyaar Ki:

Bihaan's Badi Dadi and cousin have made an entry in Pandey family. Badi Dadi wants to meet Bihaan's wife Thapki. She does not know Bihaan and Thapki got separated. She blesses them to be happily married always. Bihaan could not bear this. He tells the truth to his cousin Sonu. He says I m glad you both came here, but I can't keep you in darkness, I m not with Thapki now, we both took divorce, and I have married Sankara now. Sonu asks Bihaan not to tell this to Badi Dadi. Sonu tells them that Badi Dadi got heart attack recently, so I have got her here for treatment. He asks Bihaan and Thapki to hide this truth. Vasundara asks Bihaan to stay with Thapki as husband and wife for Badi Dadi's sake, as its' matter of just one day. She convinces both Bihaan and Thapki to do drama of togetherness. Will Badi Dadi bring them really together? Keep reading.
