Everyone, including Vaani and his own mother calls Bihaan, Bihaan Pandey. Is he not a Jaiswal then? Why has he not adopted use of his real surname.

Coz in documents his name has been registered as Bihaan Pandey and to change one's name a lot of documentation is required. Also his terms with Babu ji are good now so I guess he is okay with his old name

But that's just for legal stuff. Your own mother should call you by your real name surely? And when did Bihaan become English literate? Those property papers were in English. How did he read what they said?

He can read a lil bit English coz after all he did go to school 😛

yup he could read english but with difficulties ...remeber the last time he read that for bauji ,thapki misunderstood him . She thought he was insulting her by imitating her .
