We keep shipping Thahaan Thahaan Thahaan but the person who ought to be with Thapki really is Dhruv. They have many things in common, they are more compatible and judging by how they are relating to each other since their return they genuinely love each other. We Thahaanians are so biased that we keep ignoring these facts. According to TPK timeline, Thapki and Bihaan weren't even married for a year. But that year was just filled with conflict, hardships, fights, you name it. In fact Thapki has lived more companionably with Dhruv for more than double the time that she lived with Bihaan. She is really comfortable with Dhruv, she draws strength from him and he is genuinely her backbone. He only wishes the best for her. He has shown that he can consistently go against his family for her if needed. In fact he was willing to murder his own family for her, people he has known and loved and who have loved him all his life. Right now for Thapki he is betraying the person who took a bullet for him just for her. Dhruv is even trying to seduce Shradda, a woman he can't stand the sight of, because Thapki needs him to do that as part of her revenge plan. Something else, he was reluctant to return home but he did it just for Thapki. So many things he does just for Thapki. When you compare this with Bihaan, Bihaan is found severely wanting. Bihaan betrayed Thapki for the sake of a mother he knew for such a short period of time. A mother who abandoned him on the streets and even upon her return never showed any real affection towards him. A mother who can take in an orphan of the street but is not willing to take care of her own son. Bihaan even believed in Sankar more than he believed in Thapki. He has more faith in other people than the one he loves. It shouldn't be like that.
If you look from Thapki's side her love for Dhruv is depicted in how she so easily forgave him. This was the man who nearly killed the person she supposedly loved. A man who nearly killed at all, something a person who couldn't even cheat in a game of cards would have found unforgivable but she has forgiven him. Note though how she can't forgive Bihaan. Bihaan did not put a gun to the head of their so called baby and blow his head off. She was the one who so wrecklessly wandered into the middle of the road daydreaming and killed her baby. Bihaan should be angry with her instead for killing his child.
Genuine love is not revengeful. In fact why is Thapki seeking revenge from Bihaan at all. Thapki has forgiven other people who have wronged her that she doesn't even love (Shradda comes to mind) but she can't forgive the one she loves? She forgave Vasu who nearly poisoned her to death, she even forgave Dhruv who molested her and nearly married her against her will. But she can't forgive Bihaan and is seeking revenge instead. She is alive now only thanks to Bihaan. She could have died and should have died on numerous occasions if Bihaan hadn't rescued her so she should at least be thankful to him for this and spare him.
Love shouldn't be so hard. Thapki had to be prompted by everyone, Suman Bhabhi, Dadima even the number 7 chappal guy to acknowledge she has feelings for Bihaan at all. If it weren't for Sheena she wouldn't have expressed that love and if it weren't for the threat of Sankar and Kosi she wouldn't have consummated her marriage. Love should be spontaneous and Thapki should not have needed spurring to do all these things.
Thapki and Dhruv are so well matched. Dhruv is more intelligent than her so he can challenge her. Like she said he is her guru and she can learn from him. On the other hand Bihaan is a total thicko she can't learn much from him and she can't teach him much because he has no desire to learn and is too thick to understand. Dhruv is calm, cool and collected not volatile and given to destructive outbursts of temper that leave you scared of the outcome like Bihaan. He is rich, works and makes money easily unlike Bihaan whose purse is tied with the apron strings of his mother and needs to use his fists and a hammer to earn his bread.
Bihaan needs somebody who really and truly loves him. Who has no desire to transform or mould him into the kind of man she wants. We have had innumerable pravachaans from Thapki just on Bihaan's faults alone and just to change him. By the way I don't think Sankar is right for him either. That dung one does not love Bihaan in fact she doesn't even care or show concern for him. She just wants to get married that's it and because she was supposedly promised to Bihaan that's the person she just wants to fulfil this desire of hers to get married.
There are so many things and so many reasons that make me say Thapki should be with Dhruv.. but I am gonna stop here because I am tired and I am going to bed.
