The story starts with thapki saving bihu from shooting himself. She thinks what would have happened if she was late, she can't even bear the thought of loosing him. She runs to vasu for support.
Vasu listens everything and says that it is better he dies. Even you can be happy, you saw how angry he was on you for a small issue. Thapki unable to listen anymore Bursts on vasu (1) saying "all happened because of you. As I lied about my second chance to know your truth involved in my marriage. " Vasu was shocked, shradha who came to give tea to vasu listens all this. She finds a great reason to blackmail her, from that day she made vasu her puppet(2) scaring her that otherwise she will reveal the truth to dhruv.
Thapki and bihaan shared some emotional moments where she consoles and convinces him. She can't see him broken so she tries all the ways to make him normal. Slowly in this process she realizes that it is love on him which made her trust him so much even going against Pandey family but bihaans words lingering in her head she decides to leave him (3) once proving him innocent.Bihaan first blamed himself for everything but when he came to know the third person's involvement in the case, he started helping thapki as he wants to punish the culprit for hurting his father.
Days move on, no one believed thapki that some one else was involved as she couldn't prove it. Already evil vasu turns more evil and shows all her hatred towards bihaan and hurts him with her words . Bihaan who was till then hoping that he will get mothers love some or the other day feels devasted. He was completely broken again, thapki tries her level best to console him but she knows that he can't take his own families hatred any more. She goes to bauji who is in coma and requests him to get up for the sake of bihaan. Bauji wakes up from coma(4). Thapki brings him home and he says the truth that his business rival has attacked him. Everyone feel guilty,Everyone carry on the apologies when the attacker re enter PN to attack. After some drama he comes to shoot vasu, but bihaan comes in between at the nick of time. *Gun shot* Everyone shout bihaan... . but before the attacker shoot police come from back and shoots the attacker thus saving all.
Vasu realizes her mistake(5) and goes to apologize bihaan. She says that thapki is at no fault, she asked for divorce in return of blood. In the process she says all the things how she differentiated dhruv and bihaan, how she forced him to marry etc etc. Bihaan for a surprise is not shocked with vasu's confession. His expressions were showing that this lady can do anything.
Dhruv who came to apologize listens all the conversation. He goes down and creates a hungama, vasu cries and apologizez Everyone but no one is ready to forgive her. She feels disappointed as bihaan doesn't come to save her this time(6). Bauji States that the best punishment is not throwing her out, but ignoring her even lying under the same roof
As however her truth is out, She then reveals shradha's truth but dhruv States that shradha is far better than you who played with your own sons life, he also states that from now he will be joru ka ghulam for shradha(7). This shocks vasu. Bauji had enough shocks so falls unconscious. Doctor States that no more shocking news for 3 weeks.
3 weeks pass by
No one talks to vasu, shradha continue to torture her. Bihaan started talking to everyone but he is not as before, he became silent and serious. Bihaan softened towards thapki she feels that her old bihaan is back who always takes care of her. She felt that whatever bihaan said that day was out of anger but not intentional, she became ready to forgive him if asked so but bihaan talks very less to her and usually lies silent in his own thoughts
After 3 weeks, One day, kk comes to PN to take thapki back. She goes to bihaan who was busy in packing and says she is leaving and gives him divorce papers. Bihaan shows hurt in his eyes but without any word signs the papers.(8) Thapki who expected he will not let her leave, first feels disappointed then frustrated. She shouts that even after doing so much for him didn't he feel he should atleat stop her. Bihaan smiles,holds her hand and brings her down.
All family is gathered in Hall. Vasu is in prayer room. Bihaan asks bauji about his health, and he replies it is fine. He looks at every one and says that he decided to leave PN. Everyone shocked including thapki. Vasu comes out after listening this he continues that " I know mom doesn't love me but I came to know how much she hates me. And no one was ever ready to trust me, I thought I became a part of the family but no I was and will always be a adopted." Vasu joins hands (9)before him and says him sorry,also requests him to stay but he says " I can't stay in this home where one incident can question the love I gave all my life. I am not angry on you ppl but disappointed. "Bauji and dadima pleads him not to leave , he smoothly rejects them and promises that he will be in touch with them but staying here is impossible
He turns towards thapki " it is common to expect something in return when we do so much for someone , just as you expected me to stop you I too expected. Expected care when left the home for you, expected affection when I took a bullet for you. But my mistake was i expected love when you said you gave me a second chance, yes thapki I loved you so much that was the reason I hated you so much ,of course now that hatred has melted. Am sorry for all the hurting words and deeds, and thank you will be small for what all you did in this few days."
He continued " Hmm..when I myself don't have any shelter where should I ask you to stay. I am going to face the struggle of my life and how can I ask you to stop and face the problems. No thapki, you had enough because of me,I signed the divorce papers now you can leave this forceful marrAige and live your life. This time a happy one "
He took blessings from all and started leaving. Thapki is still trying to understand the situation and crying staring at the side bihaan went. Kk who understood her daughter says(10) her to listen to her heart and don't think what the society family etc thinks. Thapki recalls all her moments with bihaan, she determines something. She turns and hugs her father , takes blessings from remaining family.
Bihaan is walking on the road when thapki comes running from the back and stops him. She is breathing heavily because she came running carrying the lagguage.He looks at her shocked and asks what she is doing here.
" my husband is starting a new life. How can I be not a part of it."
"Thapki why are you doing this?"
" first you make the mistake and question Me in reverse "
Bihaan feels irritated he did something for him for the first time and she points it as a mistake" then why did you join me in this wrong doing "
" let me complete. The mistake is not leaving the house but leaving your wife alone in that house. What a wife should do in her husband's house without her husband." Bihaan feels puzzled as she is stressing the words 'wife' &'husband' more. She looks at him and continues " you asked me why I came to join you" she took deep breath and says
"because I love you.. And can't leave you. And am just following my marriage vow of giving support the husband eveytime"
Bihaan is shocked then surprised and then overwhelmed, he goes near her to hug her but she stops " listen I will support you in everything but on one condition. She stopped and looked At him who was already looking at her with a questioning look. " I don't want this bihaan, " bihaan tensed, she continues "serious and silent, I want that naughty and mischievous bihaan who always have a smile on his face and cute dimples on his cheeks." Bihaan feels relieved and gives a huge smile listening her words, "exactly this bihaan" and she pulls his cheeks lovingly.
