Bihaan's guilt and actions

It irks me say this but it seems Bihaan is completely over his guilt about the marriage thing. His expectations about playing holi with Thapki, their first holi, underlines that. I was expecting some remorse but don't think it is coming.

Whether Bihaan feels guilty or not will determine his actions going forward. If he feels guilty, he will let Thapki go easily and someone else will have to intervene somehow to save the marriage. Neither of them are going do anything on their own.

If he is over his guilt, he will fight to save the marriage. This is funny as we used to discuss how Thapki is the only one who can save the marriage as Bihaan will be too guilty and give her what she wants. 😆

His lack of guilt is one reason I don't feel sad about his upcoming heartbreak. Dhruv has been going through hell and Bihaan is completely over his guilt!!! Not fair!! I feel bad for Dhurv. Yuck! did I just say that??

I don't agree with u. When someone goes through so much together, they tend to bond. How long some one can carry guilt? He felt guilty and remorse very early and tried to his best to make Ds and Thapki together. If DS still unmarried and waiting for their's divorce then his action will be considered wrong. DS married willingly despite all the efforts to stop the marriage. So being guilty for Ds is unnecessary. As for Thapki, whenever she reminds him about marriage, he becomes speechless and feels guilty but the last few days he saw different Thapki, someone who fought for him, trusted him, worried for him, teased him, so he may forgiven for thinking she is going to be his wife for lifetime.

I think you are underestimating the power of guilt. Guilt is way more powerful than love. That is why we Indian (or asians) specialize in making our kids feel guilty so that they do as asked. Where love doesn't work, guilt does. 😆😆

Yday also v discussed this. The whole point is DS got married on his own accord. Had DS remained unmarried his guilt wud hv nvr gone. Another is thapki chandi roop ki darshan. See that was the first thing he remembered during his realisation. Just before the fight also Bihaan was unsure whether Thapki wud do anything just for him. That's why he first said humare kasam n then pura parivar ki kasam for safe measure. So it was only after seeing a ferocious Thapki defending him when he was down n out was perhaps what triggered that may b Thapki reciprocated his feelings n hence the realization n expectations started. N that's why he was so shattered. Had this happened before the shooting he wud hv just let her go bcoz of his guilt. Now I think he will not let go of Thapki so easily. Its all very contradicting for him...
Hope I made sense😆 And I am the one who always maintained only Thapki can save this marriage. But now looks like even Bihaan might not give in easily!

Yes guilt is big thing, bihaan crying over thapki brokes my heart, bcx he .can't do anything about it. Because his guilt not allowing him ti. Same way he never gona confess his love to her again his guilt, his guilt is the reason for there love. Now his guilt is the reason of separation. But again his guilt is making thapki realized her feelings. Because if he stops her, thapki never be able to value his feelings. Now she will..

Yes ds will go through so much, he felt the heart break. But again bihaan is not the one to blame for, thapki knew he done betrayal bcc bihaan don't realized that ds actually love
Her and 2ndly thapki also knows ma don't like her too, and bihaan is the person we hears what no one else so may be what he do is for her mom too.(too much from MA). Ds marry to shardha just to jealous thapki. .

Bihaan always state the reason of thapki hardship is bihaan, but if we see hwer hardships start the day ds enters her life, vasu hate het bcx of ds, bihaan cheat her for ds, shardha hate her bcs of ds. And so on..

See, you are missing one point in Bihaan's part of ThaHaan love and that was guilt. Guilt of marrying his brother's to-be-wife. When did we see Bihaan coming over that guilt? Did he show some remorse, some confusion, any self talk? No he didn't. Even from the promo, Bihaan says he cannot fall in love with Thapki because she fights with me and I don't like her habits.

Dude, she was your brothers to-be-wife and that's why you can't fall for her...where is this part in Bihaan's realisation? For me, Bihaan's realisation is ruined no matter how much time they have spent together. DS was an essential part of their equation( we don't like him is a separate issue). But unless both Thapki Bihaan show that they have gotten over DS; Thapki as her first crush/love and Bihaan as his brother's love, their realisation is un-digestable for me.

@Katori: I didn't realise it first but you might be right that Bihaan could have overcome that guilt

And for DS as you all said he is wrong in still hoping for Thapki

Agree with u Katori...no sadness on Bihan's heartbreak for me..he is just too caught up with himself and the notion of love...selfless love is selfish lol...though I think this aspect will be thought abt by bihan aftr his heart breaks ...I prefer both of them just yearning and not doing anything to save the marriage... Destiny intervention is the best thing that could happen here lol...or the truth revelation... But thats their only track lol

Finally I thought too much about the show and managed to confuse myself. Cannot understand any of these:

- Bihaan love realization without acknowledgement of his actions

- Thapki's constant crying - She is not in love. Even if she did not think about divorce, she needs to get over the shock of seeing the papers! Bihaan has already gotten over being shot in the stomach. He was running around merrily yesterday!

- Thapki hurting Bihaan - She is crying about hurting Bihaan. Why would he be hurt from her POV? She does not know he loves her. He also knows divorce is coming. So he may be shocked but why hurt?

- Thapki hurting family - Why? everyone knows she does not consider Bihaan her husband and counting days to separate.

The execution of whole track has been miserable. Individual scenes are fine, actors are doing a good job but something is missing.

Only thing I am happy about is that there is some progress and some more is coming (hopefully).

I am just venting my frustration. No offence intended.
