Actually it's not really like that...they do promote TPK...In fact only this week I didn't see promo for TPK but that too after lots of promos...they have written promos too which appear below the epis of many other shows...and SR is RS production so they always promote it...Udaan is what makes them different from the other channels (even SP is now imitating Udaan with Thamannah ) and Naagin has to be given importance...it is the show which sells for them and majority audience wait for the show.
I have always admired colors for their marketing strategy. They give importance to all of their shows may be not equal but they do make an effort..be it bringing mahamilans or inviting the cast to their comedy shows. The difference can be noticed only when u compare it with Star Plus. You found TPK being less promoted but a regular audience of a less popular show in SP would count it nothing...I am speaking from experience yaar. SP never promotes shows which lack trp and they wont even give repeats to such shows but colors is much much better...Even the IKRS fans say their show is not at all promoted but the repeats themselves are promotions, it is actually very good that they at least have repeats and maha milans...if the show was in SP it wud already have been axed. example- anyone knows a show named Mohi? it still airs but ppl actually dont know the show exists lol
