new to the show please help...!

hello everyone im new to this show, colors just launched in South africa on my cable.. I watched a few epis of thapki its quite nice.. but im very confused why did bihaan marry thapki? I know her saas doesn't like her and she was in love with druv and was going to marry him so them why did bihaan marry her? please help with a quick update thank u!!

Vasu the saas dont like stammering so she emotionally blackmail Bihaan to stop the wedding and marry her...

Dhruv and thapki were gonna get married n his mom vasu was fine with it coz she didnt know about thapkis stammering she wants everything to be perfect for dhruv etc. When she found out she tried to sabotage the wedding and bihaan found out and she manipulated him to help her by telling that dhruv was only marrying thapki coz he pitied her. Bihaan tried as well to sabotage coz he thought vasu was right and since he is adopted he has been craving for her love and she used that to manipulate him.on the wedding day Bihaan had knocked out dhruv before the wedding and vasu came into the room but to make sure thapki and dhruv never get married she told bihaan to take dhruuvs place but he refused but she again emotionally blackmailed him using her husbands name,basically threatening to kill herself so bihaan would marry thapki. Now she is trying to keep bihaan and thapki together so dhruv n thapki dont get back together.

Yeah dhruv thinks this is all bihaans fault n that he married thapki to stop him from marrying her coz of the stammering. Bihaan later did find out dhruv truly loves thapki n even went against vasu to bring them together but thapki found out n put a kobosh on it lol. Dhruv has no clue his mom did it everyone thinks bihaan was behind the sabotage n groom swap.

Bihaan hit Dhruv from behind and made him unconscious on the wedding day then he sat on the mandap as the groom. He did all this on his mum's insistence because he thought if he did this then he will get the motherly love he has been craving for. He also thought that he's saving Dhruv's life from getting ruined by marrying a girl who stammers. Turns out he ruined his brothers life. Now Bihaan is trying his best to bring Thapki & Dhruv back together.
