There are a lot of actors who support PETA and other animal care organisations and Jaya Bhattacharya (Gangaa and Thapki Pyaar Ki) is one of those many who is very fond of animals.
In conversation with the beautiful actress, she expressed being an animal lover.
She shared, "I am madly in love with animals. I love interacting with them and working towards their welfare. It gives me a lot of pleasure, immense pleasure and satisfaction."
Jaya took us by surprise when she informed us how she makes sure to feed at least 30 dogs a day!
The actor averred, "I feed 30 odd dogs in my area every night and the very old ones in the day too. I even add vitamins in their food. People are too occupied dealing with the weather during the rains and forget that the animals fall prey to hunger and other illness. If there is a dearth of funds then I cut out or compromise with my own expenditures or expenses but never cut down in their food. Pets are not just friends, they are like babies who you love and look after all their life."
