Brilliant updates 😍. I just wanted to ask whether you are pairing Seerat with Garry here? Or is her chapter closed with her wedding done?

Chapter 6

Angad woke up with a radiant smile on his face, a rare sight that didn't go unnoticed by Garry, Veer, and Manveer. The reason behind his happiness was evident to them all – Sahiba was returning to theoffice after her time off for her sister's wedding. It warmed Manveer's heart to see her son, who had always been evasive about the topic of marriage, so visibly happy because of a girl. It was a subtle yet significant shift in Angad's demeanor, one that hinted at deeper feelings blossoming within him.

Angad sat in his office, gazing out of the window with a sense of anticipation, waiting for Sahiba's arrival. As she entered, clad in a light pink samosa salwar kameez, her hair loosely tied up, adorned with silver jumkas and bangles, he couldn't help but admire her elegance. The intricate mehndi patterns adorning her hands, remnants of her sister's wedding festivities, added to her charm. A smile automatically spread across his face at the sight of her, filling him with a sense of warmth and contentment. He appreciated how she embraced her Punjabi roots by choosing traditional attire, a choice that many young people shied away from. Yet, Sahiba carried herself with elegance and grace, embodying the perfect blend of tradition and modernity.

As Sahiba settled into her work routine after returning from her sister's wedding festivities, she received a call from Angad's office, requesting her presence. Curious yet intrigued, she made her way to his office, wondering what he had instore for her.

"SatSri Akaal, Sahiba," Angad greeted warmly as she entered his office."Please, have a seat."

"SatSri Akaal, sir," Sahiba replied with a smile, taking a seat opposite him."Is everything alright?"

Angad nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Changa, Sahiba. I just wanted to catchup with you after your time off. How was your sister's wedding?"

Sahiba's eyes lit up at the mention of her sister's wedding, and she couldn't help but share her excitement. "Oh, it was wonderful, sir! The ceremonies were beautiful, and seeing my sister married was truly special."

Angad leaned forward, a knowing smile on his face. "I know exactly what you mean. Punjabi weddings are something else, aren't they? The energy, the music, the food – it's all so vibrant and full of life."

Sahiba nodded eagerly, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Angad. "Absolutely! It was a whirlwind of celebrations, and I wouldn't have missed it for the world."

Angadchuckled, sharing in Sahiba's enthusiasm. "I can imagine. And the foodmust have been amazing. I still remember the feasts at my own family weddings –nothing beats Punjabi cuisine."

Sahiba laughed, recalling the lavish spread at her sister's wedding. "Oh, the food was incredible! I think I gained a few pounds just from all the delicious dishes. I need to go to the gym."

Angad chuckled along with her, enjoying their shared cultural connection. "Well, it sounds like you had a fantastic time. Now, let's get down to business. I wanted to discuss our plans for the next jewellery collection."

Sahiba nodded, shifting her focus back to work mode. "Of course, sir. I've been working on some ideas that I'd like to share with you."

As they delved into their discussion about the upcoming collection, Angad couldn't help but notice Sahiba's slim figure. "You know, Sahiba," he remarked casually, "you look great, but I think you could use a little more weight. Maybe lay off the gym for a while and indulge in some of that delicious Punjabi food you were talking about."

Sahiba's cheeks flushed pink at Angad's comment, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and flattery. "Um, thank you, sir," she stammered, trying to regain her composure. "I'll...uh...keep that in mind."

Angad couldn't help but smile at Sahiba's reaction, appreciating her modesty. "Just looking out for you, Sahiba. We wouldn't want you disappearing on us," he teased playfully.

Sahiba laughed nervously, grateful for Angad's lightheartedness. Despite the unexpected turn in their conversation, she felt a sense of warmth and camaraderie with her boss, knowing that he had her best interests at heart.

Sahiba worked closely with Angad for the upcoming project, splitting her day between collaborating with him and working independently. During their time together, they developed a friendship, often sharing light conversations about their interests and experiences.

As Sahiba settled into her half-day routine of collaborating with Angad, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to learn from him. Despite his initial reservations about her ideas, she found that he was always willing to listen and offer valuable insights.

"So, Sahiba, tell me more about your creative process," Angad said, leaning back in his chair as they discussed their upcoming project. "How do you come up with your designs?"

Sahiba smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with Angad as she shared her thoughts. "Well, it usually starts with inspiration from everyday life – nature, architecture, even conversations with friends. But I think my biggest inspiration comes from watching my dad craft jewellery since I was a young girl. His dedication and artistry have always inspired me to pursue my passion for design."

Angad nodded thoughtfully, impressed by Sahiba's personal connection to jewellery design. "That's truly inspiring, Sahiba. It's clear that you have a deep appreciation for the craft, and it shines through in your work."

As they delved deeper into their discussion, Sahiba couldn't help but admire Angad's dedication to the project. Despite his busy schedule, he always made time to provide guidance and support.

"By the way, Sahiba, have you had a chance to try the new restaurant that opened down the street?" Angad asked, breaking the silence with a smile.

Sahiba chuckled, grateful for the opportunity to chat about something other than work. "Actually, I have! Their biryani is delicious. You should definitely give it a try if you haven't already."

As they continued to work side by side, Sahiba felt a growing sense of friendship and mutual respect between them. Despite their professional relationship, she was grateful for the moments of lightheartedness and camaraderie they shared throughout the day.

It had been a month since Seerat's wedding, and she was still in Ludhiana, yet to move to Canada. As Sahiba worked closely with Angad on the upcoming project, they received an invitation for a business meeting in Delhi.

Angad:"Sahiba, we have a big business meeting in Delhi next week, and I really need you there."

Sahiba:"But Sir, I'm not sure if I'm ready for such a big responsibility. And what about my parents? I can't just leave without their approval."

Angad:"I understand your concerns, Sahiba. But trust me, you are more than ready for this. Your insights and creativity are very valuable to this project, and I have full confidence in you. As for your parents, I can talk to them to get there approval explain the importance of this opportunity."

Sahiba:"I appreciate your confidence in me, Sir. And I understand the importance of this meeting. Let me speak to my parents and see what they say. If they agree, I'll make sure to be there."

Angad:"That's all I ask, Sahiba. Thank you for considering it. I truly believethat together, we can make a significant impact in Delhi."

Angad fervently prayed for her parents' agreement, hoping they would support Sahiba's professional growth and maybe personal too.

Chapter 7

Angad, accompanied by Garry, Pam, and Sahiba, arrived in Delhi. Sahiba's parents had required considerable persuasion before allowing her to embark on the trip. While her mother had been hesitant, her father had ultimately granted permission, recognizing the potential for Sahiba's professional growth.

Angad turned to the group and announced, "Alright, everyone, we'll head to the hotel first. You can rest for a bit, and then we'll prepare for the meeting."

Sahiba nodded and replied, "Okay, sir."

Angad smiled gently and corrected her, "No need for 'sir,' Sahiba. Just call me Angad."

Sahiba,Garry, and Pam exchanged surprised glances, taken aback by Angad's informal request, as he had never been addressed in such a way by employees before.

During their first day in Delhi, they dedicated themselves to meticulous preparation for the impending meeting. Angad spearheaded the discussions with assurance, while Sahiba showcased her creative prowess by offering insightful ideas and perspectives. Their collaborative efforts left a lasting impression, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and innovation.

In their hotel room, Garry, with a mischievous grin, couldn't resist poking fun at Angad's recent change in protocol. "So, Angad , why the sudden switch to first-name basis with Sahiba?" he quipped, raising an eyebrow.

Angad chuckled, knowing Garry would pick up on it sooner or later. "Well, Garry, it's just that we've been working so closely on this project, and I feel like we've developed a bit of a friendship. 'Sir' starts to feel a bit formal and distant between friends, you know?"

Garry's grin widened as he saw an opportunity for some good-natured teasing. "Friendship, huh? I see, I see," he replied, tapping away on his phone. "You know, I think Veer should know about this newfound friendship. He might want to update the family WhatsApp group."

Angad rolled his eyes, realizing he'd just walked into Garry's playful trap. "Oh, come on, Garry. You know how Veer can be. Let's not make a big deal out of it."

But Garry, undeterred, continued typing away with a mischievous glint in his eye. "Don't worry, Angad bro. Your secret friendship with Sahiba is safe with me... and soon, Veer too!"

As they all got ready for dinner, the atmosphere was light and filled with camaraderie. Sahiba, Garry, Angad, and Pam had worked diligently to prepare for the important meeting the next day, and now they were ready to unwind and enjoy a hearty meal together. They settled down at the table, exchanging jokes and banter, relishing the opportunity to relax in each other's company.

However, amidst the laughter and chatter, Sahiba's phone kept buzzing incessantly with notifications. She glanced at the screen, her expression turning slightly tense with each ring, but she chose to ignore it, not wanting to disrupt the pleasant moment.

Angad noticed Sahiba's distraction and gently told her. "Sahiba, why don't you answer your phone? It seems urgent," he suggested, concern evident in his voice.

Sahiba hesitated for a moment, then excused herself from the table to take the call in private. As she stepped away, a mix of apprehension and confusion clouded her features, catching the attention of Angad, Garry, and Pam.

Curious, they exchanged glances, silently acknowledging Sahiba's unusual reaction. Something seemed amiss, and they couldn't help but wonder what could be troubling her.

Sahibreturned to the table, a faint apology on her lips for the interruption. Angad, noticing her slightly perturbed expression, inquired if everything was alright. Sahiba quickly assured him that everything was fine, diverting the conversation to lighter topics to dispel any concern. However, her slightly distracted demeanor did not go unnoticed by Angad, Garry, and Pam, who exchanged curious glances, sensing that something might be amiss.

After returning to the hotel room, Pam and Sahiba changed into more comfortable attire. Pam, sensing Sahiba's unease, decided to gently inquire about what had happened and how Sahiba was feeling.

Pam:"Sahiba, you seemed really shaken up at dinner. Is everything okay?"

Sahiba:"Well, it's just... my sister Seerat di is pushing me to get to know my Jiju'sc ousin, Manav. She even gave him my number, and he's been constantly disturbing me."

Pam: "Disturbing you? In what way?"

Sahiba:"He's been calling and texting non-stop, and his behavior at the wedding was just... creepy. He was flirting not just with me but with Keerat my younger sister too. It's making me really uncomfortable."

Pam: "That sounds awful, Sahiba. Have you told anyone about this?"

Sahiba:"Not yet. I didn't want to ruin Seerat Di's happiness by bringing it up he is Jiju's cousin. But it's getting out of hand, and I have blocked his number, hope he gets the message ."

Pam: "You shouldn't have to deal with this alone. Maybe we should let Angad know about it. He might be able to help."

Sahiba:"I don't want to cause any trouble, Pam. Let's see if I can handle it on my own first."

Sahiba felt relieved after confiding in Pam; it was as though a heavy burden had been lifted from her shoulders.

The next day was crucial, especially for Sahiba, as it marked the important meeting with key clients. The anticipation was nerve-wracking for her, knowing it would be her first time presenting in front of such esteemed individuals and international clients.

Angad noticed Sahiba's nervous demeanor as they prepared for the meeting. Sensing her anxiety, he approached her with a reassuring smile.

"Hey Sahiba, take a deep breath. You've got this," Angad said gently, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

Sahiba looked up at him, gratitude evident in her eyes. "I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed, Angad. This meeting is crucial, and I don't want to let anyone down."

Angad nodded understandingly. "I know it can be intimidating, but trust me, you've prepared thoroughly, and your ideas are solid. Just be yourself, and everything will fall into place."

Sahiba took a moment to absorb his words, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. "Thanks, Angad. I needed to hear that."

"Anytime, Sahiba. Remember, we're a team, and I'm right here beside you," Angad reassured her with a reassuring smile.

With Angad's support, Sahiba felt more confident as they entered the meeting room, ready to showcase their ideas to the clients.

After the successful meeting, Angad decided it was time for a well-deserved celebration. With smiles all around, he announced to the team, "I think it's time to celebrate our victory! We've worked hard, and today's meeting was a big win for all of us."

Sahiba's face lit up with excitement as she exchanged glances with her colleagues. "Thats ounds wonderful, Angad! It's been a journey, and I'm so proud of what we've accomplished together."

Garry chimed in enthusiastically, "Absolutely! I know just the place. Let's go out for dinner and raise a toast to our success!"

Pam nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "A celebration sounds perfect. We all deserve a chance to relax and enjoy ourselves after all the hard work."

With the decision made, they quickly wrapped up their belongings and made their way to the restaurant. As they entered, the ambiance was lively, with the aroma of delicious food wafting through the air.

Angad led the team to a reserved table, where they settled in and began perusing the menu. The mood was light and festive as they shared stories and laughed together ,revealing in the sense of accomplishment and camaraderie.

As they waited for their meals to arrive, Angad raised his glass, his voice filled with pride. "To our team, whose dedication and hard work made today's success possible. Here's to many more victories in the future!"

The clink of glasses echoed around the table as they all joined in the toast, their spirits high and their hearts full of gratitude for each other's contributions. It was a moment of pure joy and celebration, a testament to the power of teamwork and perseverance.
