I believe bringing Khori to his room was his way of shutting up Dyuti who was humiliating Khori saying she has no place in that house because Riddhiman doesn't consider her his wife. He wanted Khori to stay in his room and put up a pretense of a normal marriage so that Dyuti cannot humiliate her on that score anymore. Mostly it was an extension of his own ego that how dare *Rahul's wife* try to belittle *his wife*. And to a tiny extent probably because of his softening attitude towards Khori. But nothing more than that. He was very ready to blame her again & threaten her of punishment once Dyuti's fake pregnancy drama came into light. Piche piche jo gaya tha that was because his grandfather sent him on her trail. He himself didn't want to. But after that exhibition, he was genuinely smitten and then he himself really wanted her back and was putting in genuine efforts to win her over.

Og script was poorly written. They never focus on two things : Khori as a wife doesn't love him because she feels conjusted in the house where she was welcome as servant. She needs to time to adjust in that house. Second was from riddiman he was never in love with her. He was just acting like a guardian of her. But love came very late.

I agree. Actually GC's main USP was Khori Riddhi fights. It started being Bengal topper in trp chart & so the makers were playing safe and didn't want to disturb that equation. That's what I feel. Otherwise there was simply no need to keep the fight going on even after Riddhiman brought Khori back by kneeling down in front of her & apologizing to her so genuinely. They could have gone ahead with awkward romance after that. But just because Dyuti revealed that Khori was 12th fail, Khori packed her bag and shifted back to storeroom and Riddhiman got angry over it and they started fighting again? It just doesn't make any sense 😂😂😂 Honestly speaking GC had the success it had only because of Gourab - Solanki chemistry. Otherwise there's nothing in the story. No proper storyline or character development or anything.

I don't know about VJ - Himanshi chemistry yet, but I hope TMD does focus on a proper storyline and steady character development.

I think I did mention he was attracted towards her by the time Dyuti Rahul marriage takes place. But it was all in subconscious level & attraction and serious love aren't the same thing.

And he was under the impression that Khori had married him for his money & would do anything to stay in his house as his wife. So when she left & told him that she is determined to not return ever, he got a harsh reality check. His ego was too monumental to handle the possibility that Khori may actually not return. And also he was too full of himself because he was generally flattered by female attentions wherever he went, so he had assumed that regardless of whatever Khori says, she had to be attracted towards him. When Khori ignored his ultimatum to return and said she has moved on in life, he just went into plain denial 😂😂😂 And that's when he said all those things to Kunal. Had he really loved her at the time, he wouldn't have insulted her or let his mother throw money on her face when she came to Singharoy house after Rahul & his goons vandalised her shop. Nah! He wasn't in love then.

But after exhibition he was because when his mother was displeased with her lack of educational qualifications, he took her side& stood by her going against his mother. That's right there is love. 🙂

I feel tmd leads will give justice, what we missed in khori riddhi , we will definitely get a fierce love story with lots of romance. Tbh og storyline doesn't make sense.
