Situation: Seerat has come back, and blames Sahiba. Angad is in two minds until Veer and Keerat team up to provide evidence.

Angad’s Perspective:
It has been a whirlwind of events. I thought I was getting married to my dream girl, until fate played a cruel joke, and sitting in as the bride was that chit of a badatameez artist girl. I was livid at the moment understanding that Seerat had ditched me at the altar. To uphold the prestige of my family, I had no choice but to marry that rude insolent, unclassy girl. I didn’t care if she protested or cried. Too much damage had already been done, and Angad Singh Brar had had enough.
If this wasn’t enough, Seerat shows up the next day and blames her sister. Yes, that insolent girl was her sister. Who’d believe that such contrasting natures could exist amongst siblings. On one hand, you have someone soft spoken like Seerat and the other hand, Sahiba who is just plain rude, and has no sense of how to speak with whom.
Seerat accused Sahiba, saying Sahiba had her locked up, so that she wouldn’t show up to the wedding; and instead Sahiba would marry me. I was just plain angry. Sahiba on other hand kept protesting it was a lie. She seemed shocked at Seerat’s accusations. How low can someone stoop and ruin someone’s life? I had it enough with Sahiba. I wanted to drag her and kick her out of my house and life.
However, things are easier to imagine. As soon as I tried to lay my hand on her, Veer came to the forefront shielding her, and my dad stopped my hand. The look on his face was of pure rage. This look on my dad’s face had always been for Daarji.
I heard Daarji speak to me, “Angad, don’t take a decision in haste. With temper, one loses reasoning and rationality.”
My father added, “It doesn’t make sense. If you two hate each other so much, why would she want to marry you? If she’s a gold digger, then wouldn’t she rather marry a rich guy who she gets along with? Why you then? And let’s say, she did want to marry you, why did she reveal herself at the altar? She could have completed the marriage incognito. That would have been so much easier.”
If having my grandfather, father and own younger cousin brother against me wasn’t enough, that baddimaag girl challenged me, “Prove to everyone what Seerat Di has said is the truth. If so, I’ll gladly step out myself from here. It’s anyways a guilded cage from where I see it.”
Veer’s Perspective
We all agreed that what happened with Paaji was very unfortunate. Yet his anger on Sahiba Bhabhi borders being unreasonable. Bhabhi too was a victim of circumstances, yet he is unwilling to accept.
When Inder Tayya ji rebuked Paaji by his reasoning, I too felt something wasn’t right. If Sahiba Bhabhi had really wanted to hoodwink Paaji in a mad dash wedding, then why would she reveal her identity especially knowing that Paaji hates her? I had quickly glanced at Seerat ji, and her face seemed pale when Tayya ji spoke. I hated the last time Paaji had insulted Bhabhi at Daarji and Bebe’s anniversary party; but this time I wasn’t going to watch like a mute spectator. If I needed to get to the bottom of this, I may need Keerat’s help.
I had gotten Keerat’s number from Bhabhi, as she wasn’t allowed to make calls to her maayka. Through my phone, I called Keerat and explained what had happened, and her sister Seerat’s reaction.
Keerat on the other line, said, “Listen, Sindy Baby isn’t the brightest bulb in Ludhiana. I’ll snoop through her stuff, and her phone. I’m sure we can get something there. I’m tired of her being a freeloader, and getting Sahiba Di in more messes.”
Keerat’s Perspective:
After Veer’s call, I snooped through Sindy Baby’s stuff. There wasn’t anything that I could lay my hands on that would prove Sahiba Di’s innocence. I decided to wait till she was asleep. I had guessed her passcode; which was her birthday. I skimmed through her emails, messages and call logs. There were so many calls to that Garry. But why? Then I searched through the messages from Garry, and “Oh Kake!” Was the only thing I could muster. This manipulative liar had run away with Garry on her wedding day. However, look at her audacity, she blames my Sahiba Di? This was it. I took photos from my phone of her screenshots.
I called Veer at that instant, and told him what happened. We devised a plan. I would steal Sindy Baby’s phone, and head to Brar Mansion. Halfway through, Veer would come to pick her up and say that Angad Paaji needed cheering up, and she’d be the best person to help. Seerat being dimwit she is, would gobble up the fake praise and attention and go to Brar Mansion to show off to Sahiba Di.
Next Day - Brar Mansion
Keerat arrived at Brar Mansion, and requested an audience of all elder family members. Sahiba asked her multiple times what she doing, but Keerat didn’t budge.
When Angad came, he was bellowing, “Look I don’t have much time for you two.”
Keerat snapped in the middle, cutting him off, “Call Seerat’s phone. Just do it.”
Angad complied, and everyone was shocked seeing Keerat holding Seerat’s ringing phone.
“Ok, so now you agree that this is Sindy Baby’s phone? Now, I’m going to unlock this phone, and I want you to go through certain messages and call logs with me, because I don’t understand.”
When Angad saw the messages she pointed out to, his face became red with rage. Sahiba looked worried, and asked Keerat, “Keerat tu kuch bata kyun nahin rahi?”
“Sahiba Di, when people get engaged, it’s very common for the engaged couple to talk on their phones. What amazes me is that Sindy Baby wasn’t talking to her fiancé. Instead she was talking to her soon to be devar Garry.”
“Eh ladki, yeh kya bakwaas hai” Jasleen countered sensing her son in danger.
“Bakwaas main nahin, Sindy aur Garry kar rahe hain.” Keerat replied without any fear.
Manveer looked at Angad, and said “Beta, kya hua. Tum kuch kehte kyun nahin.”
Just then Veer had entered with Seerat. Seerat oblivious to what had transpired, approached Angad and sweetly asked touching his arm, “Angad ji, kya hua? Veer keh raha tha aapka mood theek nahin?”
“Bring Garry here now.” Angad yelled at the house helps, and jolted her hand away from his arm. The reality had seaped in, and it was ugly. Seerat in reality had a disgusting heart. She was having an affair with his cousin behind everyone’s back, and now was blaming Sahiba to cover up her mistakes. She played with the prestige of two families, his emotions and the love her younger sister had for her. Sahiba had been protesting her innocence yet he blinded by his prejudice couldn’t do her any justice.
Veer in the meantime, had distributed highlighted copies of the chat excerpts between Seerat and Garry to Manveer and Jasleen. Jasleen was shocked to say the least. Already she was in deep trouble with the family and now this was sone par suhaga!
Garry entering the main hall, asked seeing everyone’s silence, “Hey, Angad you called? Why is everyone so quiet. Seerat you”
Before Garry could finish his last sentence, Angad threw a massive punch in his face. Garry was startled to say the least.
“Bro, yeh kya? What happened?” Garry asked, baffled.
Angad was in no mood for talks at this point. He dragged Garry by the collar into the backyard garden. Both ended up fighting each other. Seerat was shocked along with the rest of the spectactors.
Angad was about give his last punch when Seerat shielded Garry asking Angad to stop “ Stop it Angad ji. Don’t hit Garry.”
“When you wanted to marry Garry, why did you do this charade with me?” Asked Angad.
Manveer too added, “If you liked one brother over the other, why did you go through this marriage? That’s deceiving two families.”
Inderpal interjected, “First, you have an affair after your engagement. Then you run away like a coward leaving two families’ respect in tatters, and now you have the audacity to falsely blame your own younger sister who was left to pick up the pieces of the mess you created?”
Sahiba couldn’t believe her ears. Keerat and Veer were successful in proving her right. She was silently crying when Veer and Keerat came to hold and support seeing how fragile she looked.
Sahiba came forward with Keerat’s support, and gave Garry a tight slap, “You and your jealousy has ruined 4 lives. If you were that courageous, you would have come forward and declared your love. However, you just wanted to make both families look bad. In all this, what was my mistake? What wrong did I do to you? I never wanted to marry, and now I’m forced to wear shackles of matrimony with someone who I hate.”
“Please take me to my room. I need to process all this.” Sahiba said looking at Veer, who held her as he led her to the store room.
Seerat seeing that her game was up, tried one last time to falsely bully Keerat, “Keerat ki bacchi yeh kya bakwas tu kar rahi hai.” Saying this, she tried to raise her hand when Keerat came forward and twisted her arm.
“Look, your lies are exposed. Now even Mummy is not here to save you. Do you really think you’re going to win against me? Remember, I’m not Sahiba Di who has been fulfilling all your outrageous demands with her hard work.”
Manveer came forward and gave a jhanatedar slap straight on Seerat’s face, “Now, stay out of this family. We don’t want to see your face.”
Bebe came and explained to Seerat, “Look Seerat, please go from here. People are not using force on you simply because you are related to the Badi Bahu of the new generation.”
Veer and Keerat were elated with their plan going successfully. They knew that they finally proved Sahiba innocent. At least, she won’t have to hear anymore taunts from Angad. They went to celebrate this win with a golgappa treat. Little did they know their partnership would evolve gradually over time.
Veer and Keerat though were both unaware of the tremors they caused in the Brar family. Angad and Manveer didn’t know what to do with the truth coming to light. Manveer had been biased to favor Angad being his mom. However, now she knew she couldn’t display her anger on Sahiba for being a gold digger. Angad on the other hand, had his heart shattered in a million pieces. He never would have thought his own cousin brother who grew up with him would hold such vindictive thoughts. How could he do this? He knew I liked Seerat from the get-go. He was participating in my wedding rituals like a loving brother while cheating me behind my back. Thinking all this, he stepped on the terrace. From there, he could see Sahiba sitting on the bench looking at the moon. He understood how unfair he had been with her all along.
Sahiba’s Perspective
Finally, I was proven innocent. Thank you Babaji for sending Veer and Keerat to help me. Without their support, I don’t know how I would have been able to prove myself. Babaj, but what kind of test is this? Why am I here? I just want to go home.
As Sahiba was engrossed in her thoughts, she felt a hand on her shoulders. She quickly wiped her tears before turning around.
“Puttar, don’t think of me as your grandfather in law. Think of me as your own Dada. I will make sure no injustice is done to you. You pursue whatever you want, and I will make sure no one interferes.” Akaal spoke with his eyes filled with affection.
He continued, “I knew from the first meeting with you, that you were special. I’m glad you’re part of my family despite whatever the circumstances were. You have it in you to carry the next generation forward together. Puttar, Angad is always under pressure to strive to be perfect. It’s a lot for him to digest as well. I’m sure though that there will be an improvement with his behavior gradually. However, you don’t back down. You stay the way you are. Strong, principled and honest.” Saying this, he blessed her and went back in.
Sahiba too left a while after unaware that a pair of gloomy lonely eyes were watching her as she retreated inside.
