It had been a few months since Angad’s softening towards Sahiba. The latest incident of him publicly dancing with her so close, had Sahiba perplexed. Yes, it was a public event where they were put in the spotlight, but that would not explain why he was dancing so close to her. He was practically finding excuses to touch her. Damn that darn saree! He had even managed to hold her on her exposed waist. His fingers were moving all over, trying to map her skin as much as possible. No matter how much she tried to distance herself on the dance floor, he would find a way to pull her back in his arms.
This behavior hadn’t stopped since then. Even at home, he was finding ways to come close to her. It was so irritating and awkward at times. Dealing with a fuming, arrogant Angad Singh Brar, she was capable of. However, this smiling, polite version of his, needed a new handling strategy if she was going to survive living in this house for the time being.

Sahiba and Veer were talking about their hobbies and artistic pursuits while Ekam was playing with Nikki. Somehow, the topic shifted to jewelry designing and business. Sahiba had found an opening and asked Veer, “Is everything going ok in the business, Veer ji?”
Veer a little puzzled, “Yes, why?”
“Well, I thought it might have been business related stress why ATM is acting so behka behka” Sahiba put forth her theory.
Veer bemused asked, “What do you mean by behka behka Parjai ji?”
Sahiba thought for a moment, should she disclose to Veer what she experienced during the dance. It was a bit embarrassing and she wasn’t very comfortable sharing this.
Just then they saw Angad smiling and waving as he walked towards them talking on his cell. Sahiba took this to be the perfect example, and said “See, he’s smiling and waiving coming towards us….He never smiles when he sees me. Pakka, iss bande ko sar par chot lagi hai. Kahin washroom mein toh phisal nahin gaya?“
Veer wanted to slap his forehead at his Parjai’s innocent explanation and thought of answering Aap hi puchh lo. Seeing how smitten Paaji is, he’ll probably pull you into the shower with him. Of course on the genuine pretext of ensuring he doesn’t fall! Parjai kya kahoon, unko toh loveria hua hai.
Instead before Veer could answer, Sahiba thought of getting away before Angad arrives and she starts to feel awkward again. She asked, “Veer ji, if you’re going out in a bit, do you mind if I can come in your car along and drop my pottery at the store?”
Veer was more than happy thinking Sahiba would probably also meet Keerat. Well, he had been wanting to get to know Keerat more as well. This seemed as the perfect opportunity. He smiled “Parjai tussi puchhte kya ho? I’m your devar, you have every right to order me”
Sahiba couldn’t help herself from smiling, and hurriedly made way to the storeroom before Angad could come. Veer was smirking thinking he had his setting put in place in terms of spending time with Keerat more.
When Angad came, he saw that Sahiba was no longer there. He asked Veer, “Veer, Sahiba was just here right? Where did she go?”
Veer answered back, “Parjai ji went to get her pottery placed in my car so that she can drop them at her store.”
“You know what, I’ll take her out, err since I’m already going out. You stay home.” Angad replied hurriedly walking towards the storeroom to inform his wife about the changes in plans.
Veer disappointed looked up in the sky as if talking to God, “Baba ji, Paaji toh Ranjha areey nahin Mirza ban gaye hain Sahiba Parjai ke ishq mein; par meri story mein Mogambo kyun banna tha unko?”
