We know Senior Chaubey as Sneha's father...who disowned his only daughter 25 years ago as she wanted to marry someone of her own choice. So far he seems very arrogant, traditional and full of himself Man...yes a man whom we will think twice before calling a father...as he did not melt even knowing that his daughter has lost everything and is almost on roadswith her three young girls.
Similarly, Rishi Mathur, another father having broad outlook, modern man...pampered his daughters, gave them the best of everything...but ran away from their lives...in times when they really needed him...( and of course, his definition of life also brought is daughters on roads).
So far Rishi and Senior Chaubey as fathers are tied at 'one all' for me...

well written loved ur analysis
and ya even i would love to know what actually happened in the past
i always liked the character of rishi mathur
it had flaws so many that he brought his family on the streets but he wanted to be a superman to his daughters. he never wanted his daughters to struggle 😊

Cherry nice post ..u sure rock with ur topics 👏

I loved the contrast u have made n trust me may be superficially I may hate the senior chaubey , but at the end of The day I WILL choose him over superman 😆

U see Rishi particularly never respected father hood ...he took sneha away n may not have tried to mend relations between the father n the daughter ..n see the destiny, he had three daughters n yet he failed them miserably

Sorry if I hurt anyone 's feelings but just my POV

Nice topic Cherry.

I agree with Ecri and prefer Mr. Chaubey over superman. Mr. Chaubey may be traditional, strong headed and disowned Sneha for she chose her life partner but he might change in the future and melt down. He has the chances for making something better for his daughter and wins over Rishi Mathur who lost it by the suicide. The whole lot of pampering and richness provided to his daughters have no meaning when he himself has lost it and he is not there to correct his mistakes or to protect his daughters.

Though we are yet to know about Hari and his family's situation in detail, I feel he is another failed father and no words about Ramashrey's father.

Many thanks for your replies...
Even I prefer Sneha's father over RM.
Mr Chaubey disowned Sneha coz he was worried about her future...RM was not financially independent/strong ( Saying this on the basis of RM's conversations with Hari and Sneha, that he didn't have anything when he moved to Mumbai) and like all, he just wanted his daughter a secured future, which Rishi seemed knowingly ignored about his three daughters...he was more worried about his superman/good father image.
I must admit that RM did give his FIL's fear a reality...

Well said! Rishi Mathur and Chaubey ji are both really bad fathers.
One disowned his daughter for marrying the man of her own choice and now refuses to acknowledge or help her even after shes widowed and in financial crisis.
And the other pampered and indulged his daughters, swindled money and blew it all on over the top luxuries, then when the cookie crumbled he took the coward's way out, leaving his wife and daughters at the mercy of the cruel world. Really Terrible Dad!
