Looteri Dulhan will be the next fiction show onImagine to bite the dust. The experimental show which started as the tale of a con girl who is forced to dupe the older men she marries on her wedding night, underwent certain changes recently to better its ratings. Not only was the female protagonist Krishna Gokani replaced with Supriya Kumari, the entire story line got changed with the introduction of many new characters.

But nothing seems to have worked in favour of the show, as the latest news is that Looteri Dulhan will be shutting shop in mid August.

A little birdie tells us, "Though the exact date is not finalized, it is confirmed that Looteri Dulhanwill be making way for Dharampatni, that will have Harshad Chopra and Aasiya Kazi as leads. The shoot of Dharampatni, jointly produced by DJ's Creative Unit and Endemol India will start on the 22nd of this month, and the launch is expected sometime in mid August".

We tried calling Mrunal Jain and Supriya Kumari, the protagonists of Looteri Dulhan, but could not get through to them.

Our efforts to get in touch with Saurabh Tewari, Head of Programming – Fiction, Imagine TV,were futile.
