Reshmi Ghosh gets her first award Bong actress Reshmi Ghosh, who was last seen in Tere Liye as Nupur, got her first ever television award at Gold Television awards that were held over the weekend. The actress bagged highest voted actor- female for her contribution in television. We spoke to Reshmi Ghosh about her first success. "I was really surprised when my name was announced. I was totally surprised to hear it. I didn't believe it as I thought it might be prank but later on, I came to my senses and went to receive my first television award. I thanked everyone, who loved me so much and all my fans who voted me for this award. I am happy that everyone loved me as Nupur in Tere Liye but I really regret that I didn't play this role from the start in the show. Never mind, I am happy to receive this prestigious award." Further she adds, "Everyone has been calling to congratulate me. It's nice to hold this award as I believe that it represent my hard work and perseverance which I have done right from Kyunki days to Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo. Currently, I am waiting for yet another challenging role on television and hoping for the best." Reshmi Ghosh was also happy that she was nominated in the best negative -female for Tere Liye though she didn't win. The actress is awaiting the release of her Bengali movie. |
