Taani walked into the room as she had done for the past many nights. Her eyes were quickly searching for him and they found him, stood by the window, just staring out of it.
The nurse was there again, watching them as if she was in some kind of movie theatre and she had first row seats. Why couldn't she leave them alone? Why couldn't she leave them both to it?
Taani slowly approached Anurag as he continued to stare out of the window, not realising her presence.
He still hadn't recognised her but Taani knew, she knew that he would. And he it would happen soon. She had that faith.
Taani's eyes went to the wall where she saw the words: "Mishti" written on every part of the walls.

Taani wiped her eyes when she realised that she was crying. She approached Anurag and put her hand on his shoulder.
He had always been the one to give her strength when they were facing difficulties. He was always the one to support her when she felt as if she couldn't continue and here she was, struggling to keep herself together when he needed her the most.
Anurag realised someone had their hand on his shoulder and slowly turned his head to see Taani there.
His face was expressionless. He wasn't happy to see her, because he didn't know her. But he wasn't sad because he felt that he wasn't alone.
He saw this strange woman and his Mishti came to mind. Where was his Mishti? How would she be? Why hadn't she come to see him?
He missed his Mishti. He missed her alot. But he didn't know where she was.
Maybe... maybe this woman knew where his Mishti was? Maybe that's why she kept coming back? Maybe she could take him to his Mishti? Yes, this seemed like the best idea.
"Onu?" She said. There it was again, the closeness. His Mishti used to call him that. His Mishti. With her perfect smile. Her perfect nature. She was perfect in every way to him.
