Welcome! 😊 What happened between Taposh/Mauli/Robbie is basically that at the same time Laboni was overenthusiastically planning Taposh/Mauli rishta, Taani was planning for Robbie/Mauli rishta once she finds out that Robbie loves Mauli. Mauli's mom gets the TapLi rishta from Laboni, but doesn't want to really take it up, and accepts Taani's rishta of RobLi coz they're from a rich family. When Mauli hears this, she chastises Taani and rushes to tell Taposh of her feelings, and Taposh rejects her saying that things like love and family don't matter to him, he is only interested in samaj seva. Heartbroken, Mauli accepts Robbie's rishta on the rebound. However, Mauli's sister Jonaki wants to break up RobLi, and attempts to do so by first creating misunderstandings on their first date, and then by having Mauli talk to Taposh on RobLi's engagement day and having Robbie catch her at it. Mauli realises how much she's hurt Robbie and makes it up to him by staying with him.
When Onu leaves the house, he at first decides to leave Taani as well but eventually returns and lives with them. He attempts a number of times to get a job but turns out overqualified for many of the posts, and is therefore rejected. He then thinks of starting a business but does not have the capital. At this point Taani sells the sweet shop and gets an old factory for Onu without telling him, instead asking Subodh to take the credit for the capital. This leads to complications coz they meet constantly to discuss Onu's progress and Onu, who is already in love with her but unaware of it, feels that she is in love with Subodh. On Robbie's engagement party, Onu gets to know that Taani knew of Nupur's plans to leave, and is led to believe by Ananya that she did this to get him. He's angry and her and tells her never to talk to him again, but Taani still attempts to work on making Onu a success. Only on the day he wins a contract over his father does Subodh reveal that it was Taani who had been supporting him all this while, and with this he also realises how much he loves her. Unfortunately his timing is HORRIBLE, because Taani has gone to Mumbai to fetch Nupur, coz she thinks he still loves her when the truth is that he had stopped loving Nupur a long looong time ago. Nupur, however, is too focussed on her career and doesn't bother to listen, but Onu overhears their conversation because he attempts to call her at the time and Taani accidentally clicks the recieve call button. Anyway, he goes to Mumbai in search of her too, and finds her in the station, where an ultra-romantic almost-confession takes place 😳😳 Anyway, they return, and Onu tries a number of times to confess his love to her but loses his nerve. But Subodh finally pulls the confession out of him -- go Subodh! 😆
