Everyone turned and looked at him. Anurag' friend's expression just fell. Whereas Taani was grateful that he came. She smiled at him.

Teacher: excuse me' now who are you? And everyone BE QUITE!!!

Everyone in the hall went silent and they all sat down.

Guy: sir. I'm Robindo kapoor. I am a new student as well. Sorry I was late but I was talking to Miss Shaheen. And here is my late slip.

He gave the slip to the teacher and looked at Taani who had tears in her eyes but was smiling at her. He gave her sad smile back. He then looked at Anurag and shakes his head in disappointment.

Teacher: ok sit down please

Robi: sir bethne se pehle mein kuch kehna chahta hu ,if you don't mind.

Teacher: yes go on'

Robi: sir in sab ne meri dost Taani ka mazakh uraya hai. Sir I want to say something. Taani beshak eik mamuli si shop mein kaam karti hai lekin sir who mamuli shop Kolkata ki one of the best shop and famous shop hai. Sir she is the owner of that shop.

Everyone in the hall got shocked.

Robi: yes sir, who shop us ke dad ki thi aur ab Taani apni mom ke saath who shop chala rahi hai lekin phir bhi who mil kar kaam karti hai kuinke yeh dukaan us ki dad ki hai aur us ki reputation ke liye who khud work karti hai to make sure everything is fine. And yes sir she loves singing lekin aaj tak kisse ne kya mein us ka best friend hu us ne us ki aawaz aaj tak nahi suni.. to is mein nakhre ki kya baat hui. Aur raha sawal bhao ka I really don't think that it was appropriate. They were just harassing her and trying to make fun out of her. But have you notice one thing? Not even once she shouted and replied back to anyone. Please hum yaha parhne aate hai.. Yaha kissi ki value, satus nahi dekhne aate. I hope sab ko yeh baat samajh aa gayi hai. Thanks for your time.

Everyone started clapping. Taani proudly smiled at him. And then teacher started telling them about the course structure.

Teacher: I hope aap sab ko koi problem nahi aye gi. Please agar koi bhi problem hai then come and see me. Enjoy your first day and make us proud

Taani was going out when Anurag called her from the back.

Anurag: Taani please.. meri eik second baat sunna' please

Taani looked at her friends and told them to go. She walked up to Anurag and folded her arms. She raised her left eyebrow and look at him.

Anurag: dekh Taani.. I just' mujhe samajh nahi aa raha kaise kaho' I m really sorry.. aaj jo bhi hua I swear my intention were not to hurt you. Mein to sirf eik mazakh kar raha tha

Taani: mazakh.. Anurag your so called mazakh wasn't even funny

Anurag: I know who bus' meine socha ke lecture bore tha to

Taani: (snapped at him) to kuin na Taani ka mazakh ura le

Anurag: actually no' Taani please

Taani: dekho Onu.. hum bachpan se school se lekar college tak eik doosra ka mazakh urate aye hai, pranks karte aye lekin meine khabhie tumhara dil nahi tora, mein ne khabhie limits nahi cross ki. Anurag dekho please this is university, yaha mein bohot muskilo se admit hui hu' please ainda mujh se related kuch nah karna please' tum nahi jaante meri mama ko kitni pareshaani uthani parhi thi sirf mere admission ke liye so I can get educated. Jo hum ne bachpan mein kiya who humara bachpana tha. Aaj meine tumhe iss liye kuch nahi kaha kuinke mein nahi chahti log mujh par ungliya uthaye. I mean tum par kon ungli uthaye ga? Anurag tum agar kissi ka murder bhi kar lo to tumhare dad tumhari reputition ko bacha sakte hai.. lekin mera kya ho ga.. mein kissi land lord ki beti nahi hu'. Most of the time jo tumhare paas hai who mera paas khabhie nahi ho sakta lekin is ka matlab yeh nahi ke tum sab ke samne mera mazakh urao. Anurag please just leave me alone.

She gave him sad looks and went pass him. Anurag felt really bad. He never saw Taani this sad. He always does something to make Taani irritate because he liked fighting with her but today he was too much. He felt like he couldn't breathe. He was thinking about how to make her happy and then he smiled because he founded his way to make her happy.

In canteen

Anurag: everyone, everyone, guys and girls and Rishi can you all be quite please.

Everyone in the canteen went silent and looked at Anurag and his friends. Taani was sitting there with Mauli and AM. She looked at Anurag and turned her face around. Anurag saw that and he felt sad.

Anurag: (coughing) ahm ahm now we know ke kitna nervous feel kar rahe ho aaap sab' issi liye me and my group known as WILDZ will do something to make you happy, as always. So please pay attention. Hum aap sab ko education related songs play present kare ge. And guys please not this is for fun don't get offended, aap mere pyaare dosto ki pyaari awaz se offend mat hoiye ga. So ahm ahm.

Anurag: University

Rishi: (started to sing the song) Apni To Patshala, masti ki patshala

Anurag: TUTION

Rahul: Idhar Chala Mai Udhar Chala Jane Kaha Mai Kidar Chala.

Anurag: Maths

Rishi: Ajib Dastan Hai Ye Kaha Shuru Kaha Khatam.

Everyone started clapping and cheering them.

Anurag: SCIENCE-

Rishi: Aa Khushi Se Khudkushi Karle.

Anurag: EXAM-

Anurag: Results

Rishi: (putting his hands over his chest) Dhak Dhak Karne Laga Oh Mora Jiya Ra Darne Laga.

Anurag: Pass

Rahul: (dancing) Aj Mai Uper Asma Niche Aj Mai Aage Zamana Hai Peche.

Anurag: Fail

Rishi: (making a sad face) Chain Se Jo Toote Koi Sapna Jag Suna Suna Lage.

Everyone in the canteen was laughing. But he wasn't satisfied. He looked at Taani and she looked at him and them she started bursting in laughter. His heart started pumping faster. He smiled, he was happy. Taani could stop laughing. Even Anurag started laughing.

Robindo was talking to a girl when Taani dragged him from there.

Robi: Taani, kya kar rahi ho.. yar woh mujhe apna number dene waali thi aur tum bhi na

Taani: ( seriously) Robi

Robi: haan'?

Taani hugged him tightly.

Robi: Arey Taani kya kar rahi ho.. koi dekh le ga yaar.. sab kya kahe ga.. haan college mein theek tha lekin ab.. yaar i think its time to move on' I know hum college mein item the... but here

Taani smiled at him and then punched him on his back

Robi: ouch yeh kiss liye tha?

Taani: jhoot bolne ke liye

Robi: konsa jhoot?

Taani: ke hum item the... tum aur mein... no wayyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

Robi: kuin mujh mein kya problem hai?

Robi saw Mauli, Subodh, Am and Pm coming.

Robi: loo aa gayi kebab mein hadis. Yaar yeh duniya itni zalim kuin hai? Hum dono ko akhethe kuin nahi hone dete?

Taani and Robindo both started laughing.

Subodh: tum log kuin hans rahe ho?

Robi: yeh bacho ko batane waali baat nahi hai

Taani covered her smile with her hand.

Subodh: bacha to tu hai' bhool gaye' jab Taani 3^rd mein ayi thi to tum 2^nd mein the aur kaise rote the.. nahi mujhe Taani ke saath khelna hai aur phir tumhare dad ne tumhe 3^rd class mein bathaya. Ab batao

Robi: no

AM and PM: hayeeee. Not fair... kuin hummein kuin nahi bata rahe?

Mauli: Robi tu batata hai ya teri pol kholu.

Taani: (quickly): kya kya kya... konsi pol

Robi: Mauli... shush... kuch nahi hai.... dekh Mauli... I'm warning you

Mauli: u know what happened the other day... Robi nah kissi larki ko pata raha tha aur use number de raha tha aur peeche us larki ki mama thi... uff ann then u know what happened'?

He ran after Mauli and Mauli was hiding behind Taani. Taani was curious to know about it. Anurag was looking at them and sadly smiled at him.

Anurag: aaj mein bhi in mein se hota agar meine Robindo ka saath diya hota.

In basket ball court

Rishi: (throwing basketball to him) yaar Anurag

Anurag: (catching the ball): hmmm

Rishi: yaar do you like Taani?

Anurag (shocked): what?

Rishi: do you like Taani?

Anurag: why you thought that?

Rishi: bus aise.. kuinke tu aaj canteen mein sirf us ke liye kiya nah...?

Anurag: kya kiya..?

Rishi: yaar don't pretend that you don't know anything. I saw you tune sirf us ke liye kiya. You wanted to make her smile nah to issi liye meine poocha. Waise mujhe koi problem nahi...

Anurag: tujhe koi problem nahi' yaar khul kar bata nah..

Rishi: dekh I know Taani tere type ki nahi hai.. I mean tere standard ki nahi hai.. lekin phir bhi life patner ho to Taani jaise' I mean ke I know woh humari tarah nahi hai I mean rich lekin us ki saadgi mein itna husn hota hai ke mein khabhie khabhie sochta hu us ke singaar kya ho ga'?

Anurag: aur tu mujhe keh raha hai ke I like Taani'

Rishi: nahi mera matlab tha aaj jab who udaas thi to tum bhi udaas the' us ki ek hassi ke liye tu ne itna sab kuch kiya

At the same time Taani passed with her friends. Anurag looked at her. She was wearing pink churidar with dupatta. Her hairs were open. He looked at her carefully. He never saw her wearing nay makeup and that's because she never needed to wear makeup and yet she looked so innocent and beautiful. He just realise that she got the most beautiful eyes. Dark brown eyes with long eyelashes. He got lost in her eyes like they were calling him, telling him story, showing him directions. For the first time he couldn't keep her eyes of her. Then he saw Robi and quickly looked away.

Anurag: yaar bus mein kissi ko sad nahi dekh sakta aur phir Taani, mere dil mein Taani ke liye eik respect ahi aur mein usse cross nahi karsakta and anyways uske saath dushmani means Robi ke saath dushmani' meine sirf Robi ke liye kiya

Rishi: oh ok'

Anurag: acha phir yaad hai nah next week mere ghar mein party hai... jitni gils ko jaanta hai le ana

Rishi (laughing): mein to sirf eik hi larki ko jaanta hu aur who mei girlfriend aur usse mein khone ka risk nahi le sakta. Acha when is Nupur coming back from holidays?

Anurag (happy): today' kahi dikh nahi rahi' hai kaha?
