Written and Video Update- September 8th
Hello everyone! Here I am again, with today's episode. Let's see what we have in stor for us today:

~ Part One ~
The episode begins with Anurag getting ready and Robindo asking Anurag how he is looking. Anurag doesn't answer his question and continues fixing the buttons on his shirt. Robindo repeats his question and when Anurag does not answer again, Robindo says that Anurag still angry with him. Anurag replies that if he was angry he wouldn't have released Robindo from jail, and walks away to his cupboard. Robindo follows him and says if Anurag was acting normal he would have hit him and begs Anurag to forgive him. He places a hand on Anurag's back and promises not to make a mistake like this again. Anurag turns around and strikes a slap across Robindo's head (🤣🤣🤣!). Anurag looks at him sternly and says if Robindo makes a mistake like this again, he will never talk to him again. Robindo gets happy and leaps forward to hug his brother (He actually bear hugs him, jumping on top of him 🤣). He is happy that Anurag has forgiven him and again promises never to do such a thing again. Anurag teases him saying that he can only take punches, but not give them back, asking if he is a girl. He tells Robindo to hit him, but Robindo says Anurag is older to him thus cannot hit him. Anurag responds saying that he is older and telling him to. Robindo says it will hurt him, but Anurag says not to worry about him, just hit him. Robindo agrees, playing on the spot for a moment before giving a hard punch in Anurag's stomach. Anurag makes a face as if all the wind has been knocked out of him (🤣).
Robindo smiles and asks how he found it and then seeing Anurag's expression asks if it hit him hard. Anurag settles himself and starts saying how Robindo can hit his big brother so hard. Robindo panics and says Anurag told him to, but Anurag hits his head, grabbing Robindo's coat. He pulls Robindo closer and sniffs on his jacket, saying that Robindo wore his new perfume and hits him again on the head. Robindo tries to make excuses and says Anurag was not around so he used it, and that he liked the perfume. Anurag then notices that Robindo is wearing his shirt, and Robindo says he is looking good, right? Anurag orders him to take the shirt off but Robindo tries running away. The two run around the room, Anurag chasing Robindo. Robindo runs across the bed and Anurag scolds him for getting on the bed with his shoes on and throws a pillow on Robindo's head.. Robindo replies that it is his own bed so Anurag shouldn't worry, and throws a pillow on Anurag's head. The two playfully scuffle and end up falling on the bed, fighting with each other over the shirt, whilst Anurag tries to get Robindo to take it off (Typical boys I tell you!! 🤣 Boys will be boys, I guess!!🤣 ). Shekhar is standing at the door and the boys notice him there. They both sit up on the bed, fixing their shirts, with Anurag looking not so happy on seeing his father. Shekhar, without saying a word, walks away from there, which Anurag finds to be strange. He tells Robindo to wait as he will be back in a minute.
Anurag steps out of the room and finds Shekhar standing in the hallway. He walks up behind his father and slowly places his hand on Shekhar's shoulder. Shekhar gets a bit surprised and Anurag also has pain in his eyes. Shekhar speaks and says Anurag has gone so big, just as tall as him, says all sorts of things, answers back to him. Anurag has tears in his eyes and takes his hand of Shekhar's shoulder. He steps forward to stand beside Shekhar and says there needs to be someone to answer him. Shekhar asks even to a father? Anurag answers saying 'his' father- 'apne baba se'. Shekhar gives a small smile. He then asks Anurag why he was fighting inside. Anurag says it was nothing, just that Robindo's childhood habits have not yet gone, and that Robindo wore his shirt and perfume, so he hit him. Shekhar says give him two slaps on his behalf also. He turns around and walks away, a warm smile spreading across his lips. Anurag also smiles at this new development between the two (Awww, such lovely bonding shown between father and son. I truly loved that scene, very touching 😳👏). The scene changes to inside Shekhar's bedroom, where Neelu is getting ready and Shekhar is happy and excited, wishing to tell her something. Neelu tells him to speak, and Shekhar says if her son's choice is Taani, then his choice is also Taani (Yay Shekhar!! ⭐️). Neelu gets happy and runs to embrace him. Shekhar says she did not even give him this much love on their wedding day. Neelu laughs and says this hug was not for him, it was for his son, who he loves very much.
The scene from the precap is shown where Shekhar tells Neelu to definitely announce her son's engagement in the party, as his father will like it. He holds her chin and asks if she is happy, and she nods, saying that she is very happy. They both leave for downstairs, but Ritesh is shown listening to their conversation. Ritesh walks into the hallway and thinks about what Shekhar just said. Scene changes to Kuhu sleeping and Ritesh softly is patting her head. Ananya sits in front of him on the bed and asks what he is looking at. He replies that he was eight years old when his father left him and he had craved for the smallest of joys in life. He says he will never let anything like that happen with Kuhu and will give her all the world's happiness and joy. Ananya says Ritesh told her this just yesterday, when Kuhu was asking for a doll, and now he's saying it again. Ritesh replies that he is not saying it to Ananya; he is just reminding himself again and again, as it is necessary for a child to get their rights at the right time. Ananya says Kuhu will get everything in her rights, and that she is very lucky as she has her father, grandfather, and whole family. Ritesh disagrees and says there are many other needs that a child has, and he will fulfil those needs. He holds Ananya's hand. Scene switches to Laboni closing the shutters of the window. Taposh comes up behind her and says Laboni finally accepted defeat and broke her promise. Laboni replies that her promise is not more important than Taani's happiness.
Taposh tries to speak but Laboni stops him, saying that Taani loves Anurag, and she has seen love in Taani's eyes for Anurag. She says she cannot break all of Taani's dreams in order to keep her promise, as she is her mother and cannot do it. Taposh says as much as he knows the Gangulys, Taani and Laboni do not know them as much. He says it is all a lie, and that they are showing false hopes. Taposh tells her that whatever Laboni is thinking, nothing like that is going to happen, in fact they will just bring one more insult home. Laboni tells Taposh that this time nothing like that will happen, as Neelu has herself taken the responsibility and has promised that she will announce Anurag and Taani's engagement at the party. Taposh is shocked. Laboni says that she trusts Neelu completely. Taposh tells her fine, to trust Neelu and watch a dream with open eyes, but he is not going to watch anymore dreams, as he has seen enough and heard enough. Laboni asks does that mean he is not coming to the party and he says no, walking away. Laboni slaps her forehead (I think it's going to hurt Taposh the most having to say 'I told you so' 😭)
~ Part Two ~
Shekhar greets guests at the party. Subodh, Molly, AM and PM are shown standing together. AM says they came too early and that no one is here yet. PM agrees, saying that Anurag has not even come yet. Subodh says Taani is nowhere to be seen either and tells Molly to call her up. Two old ladies, Kaaki Maa, and Maashi Maa arrive at the party and Neelu and Shekhar greet them. Shekhar asks how they came so suddenly, and Neelu tells him that she called them. Kaaki Maa shows them the fish she has brought for Shekhar and he gets happy. Maashi Maa asks why they are throwing such a big party and Shekhar replies that their son Anurag has grown up now, so Neelu wants to get him married. All the friends overhear. AM and PM say that they have also grown up, and AM says they are looking for a girl for Anurag. PM replies that there is nothing to look for, that Neelu would either choose AM or PM. Ananya and Ritesh are standing on the other side of the party. Ritesh says it's a nice party and Ananya agrees, saying that her father has invited the whole community, but that she doesn't understand why he called people from far away villages. Neelu comes to them and tells Ananya to come and get blessings from the people who have come from the village. Robindo walks down the stairs, struggling to handle his dhoti. He asks himself what kind of clothes his mother has made him wear, saying that he looks like a joker. A couple of girls come up to him and one of them calls him Dada (😆).
Robindo is shocked to hear them call him 'brother'. The girl asks if he has seen Robby. Robindo casts a glance down at his clothes and then folds his hands, calling the girl his sister. He says that he has not seen Robby and tells them to leave. The girls leave. Robindo again shows misery over the clothes he is wearing. Neelu comes and tells him that the people who have come from the village want to meet him. Robindo moans, saying that they will pull his cheeks, but Neelu tells him that it is their way of showing how much they love him. She pushes Robindo to go and see them. Robindo is sitting in the middle of Kaaki Maa and Maashi Maa. Both are pulling his cheeks constantly, fussing over how big he's gone, and stuffing him with sweets. The scene changes back to AM, PM, Subodh and Molly. AM asks PM what she is eating and PM replies that she is eating a burger, and that she had actually brought the burger for Anurag but then she remembered that Anurag has started eating less now, thus she is eating the burger herself. Molly suppresses a laugh and asks AM whether she brought anything for Anurag. AM replies that she has, and takes out a letter, saying that Anurag will go crazy over her after reading it. Molly is surprised and asks if AM wrote a love letter for Anurag and AM says yes, that she has got it specially written by a television serial's writer. PM asks AM for a tissue, but AM says this is not their coffee shop that she will carry around tissues. PM grabs AM's love letter instead and begins using it as a tissue before throwing it in the air. AM cries, saying that PM always breaks her dreams.
Anurag enters the party, coming down the stairs (Dressed in dhoti kurti 😍. This man looks good in anything ☺️😍). AM and PM get happy and sigh looking at him. Laboni and Taani also enter the party, with Taani dressed in a red with a golden border, Bengali style sari (Looking very pretty 👍🏼😍). Shekhar for a moment is shocked to see Laboni. He and Neelu walk up to the door to greet them. Neelu tells Laboni to come in, and Laboni starts remembering the scene after Bimal's death where she broke all ties with the Ganguly house and promised never to set foot in the house. Placing a hand on Taani arm, Laboni steps in the house with her daughter. Molly greets Laboni and then hugs Taani, asking what took her so long and why Taani did not answer her phone. Taani asks Laboni if she can go with her friends and Laboni consents. Ritesh and Ananya are stunned to see Laboni in their home, and Laboni is also shocked to see them. Ananya walks away in a huff and Ritesh follows her. Laboni has tears in her eyes but Neelu urges her to come inside further. Shekhar looks down awkwardly and does not say a word. Laboni wipes her tears and the two women walk together into the house. Laboni is happy to see Kaaki Maa and Maashi Maa and greets them. Kaaki Maa says she was just wondering that there can never be a party in Shekhar's house without Laboni being there. They ask each other how they are. Neelu walks up to Shekhar and says if the past is bitter it is better to forget it. Shekhar tells her that he hasn't forgotten anything and neither does he want to forget (Awww, and here I thought he was going to try and mend things! )
Neelu gets confused. Shekhar says he is not happy with this compromise either. He tells her the only reason he is doing all this is because he doesn't want to get separated from his son and does not want to lose him. Neelu is stunned to hear this. Shekhar tells Neelu that today was the first time his son embraced him (😕 HUH?! 😲 What embrace? 😲 I didn't witness no hug between the two! 🤣). He says for the sake of that love he is willing to accept Anurag's every choice and is willing to overlook all of Laboni's bad behaviour. He walks away, leaving Neelu upset.
~ Part Three ~
Taani is walking in the party and Anurag comes up behind her, tapping her right shoulder, but standing on her left. Taani looks to her right and then looks to her left to see Anurag in front of her. She laughs seeing Anurag dressed in traditional Bengali attire. Anurag asks what happened and asks whether he looks strange. Taani replies that he isn't looking strange; he's looking like Babu Moshai. Anurag smiles, and tells her to forget that, as he has a surprise to give her. Taani tells him that she wishes to talk to him too, that she has been trying to tell him for days and she had called him yesterday for that reason too. Anurag tells her to listen to him first, as after what he has to say, everything she says will appear ordinary. She asks really, and Anurag raises an eyebrow (Very cute! 😳😆) Taani says fine, they will see and tells Anurag to speak first. Anurag moves closer to her and moves his lips towards her ears (☺️ Aaaah!! If she doesn't love her, why does he have to get so close?!! 😕🤣). Taani looks down shyly with a smile on her face. Anurag, in her ear, says that he will tell her later. He walks away with a smug look on his face. Taani follows him and pleads him to tell her what the surprise is. Anurag tells her that his special friends are coming from America and he wants her to meet them. He tells her that the family with whom he stayed are coming. Taani sulks and asks why she should meet them. Anurag asks what does she mean by that, and says they want to meet her as he has told them everything about her. Taani says she will meet them and tells him to tell her what the surprise is.
Anurag again leans his head forward and whispers in her ear, telling her that he will tell her when they are alone and that it is a secret between the two of them only, and that she is not to tell anyone (☺️). Taani smiles and runs away excitedly. Anurag watches her go and seems confused by her behaviour. Taani rushes to Subodh and asks him what has happened and why he is standing alone. Subodh says it's nothing and that he was just thinking. Taani asks him what he is thinking about. Subodh says that years ago when he used to see her and Anurag together he used to feel very jealous, and in the process of being jealous he lost his leg. Taani looks at him sad and confused, and tells him that there was nothing like that between them at the time. Subodh says he knows the rumour he had spread in their childhood was completely false, but the pain at seeing them two together was not false. He tells her that meeting her after so long, he thought he would not feel so much pain at seeing them together as he did in childhood, but he was wrong. He says their childhood has been spent, but the pain still remains. Taani is shocked at his words. She says his name and comes before him. Subodh tells her that she is a very good friend of his, and she is also the girl who he had first liked, that's why he is telling her this. He asks whether he can say something, and then says hers and Anurag's jodi looks good and they go well with each other. He says Anurag is a very lucky man. Taani gives a small smile.
Subodh gets serious and tells Taani to warn Anurag that if Anurag keeps coming closer to Taani, then he will throw him down the waterfall. Taani is stunned and asks what he's saying. Subodh suddenly starts laughing and tells her it was a joke. Taani laughs and tells him that he will never change. The scene switches to Anurag and Taani talking and Laboni and Neelu getting happy seeing them together. Anurag's phone rings and he leaves to answer it. At that moment, Neelu walks up the stairs to make the announcement. She asks for everyone's attention. She says everyone must be wondering why there is suddenly a party held in the Ganguly house. Neelu says there are two reasons for it, the first is that her son Anurag has returned from the US after eight years, and the second reason is that she is getting Anurag's engaged to Bimal Da's daughter Taani. People start clapping. Taani is surprised and happy by the announcement (Not for long hunny! 😆 then >> 😭) Ananya and Ritesh are shocked with the decision and so is Subodh. AM and PM look disappointed and look at each other sadly, wishing it had been one of them. Neelu comes down the stairs and walks towards Taani, placing a kiss on her forehead. Taani bends down to seek her blessings. Shekhar moves forward and Taani takes his blessings also. Anurag walks back into the party, confused at what is going on around him. Shekhar walks up to him, holding his arms and wishing him congratulations. Anurag asks what for (Eeeeh, tension mounts! *bites nails* 😛).
Shekhar tells Anurag that his mother has just announced something, and he is talking about that. Anurag gets further confused and walks up to his mother, asking what kind of announcement. Neelu tells him that she announced his and Taani's engagement. Anurag is stunned (Oh no!! 😭). Episode ends on his shocked face ().

I'll keep this short and sweet 😳. I liked the episode in terms of how effective it was in creating tension 👏. And also for how attractive Harshad looked in the episode dressed in a dhoti kurti, and how amazingly pretty Anupriya looked 😍. I really liked the make-up on her today- it really made her eyes look strikingly beautiful. Another thing I loved, which I'm sure you would all agree is the scene between the two brothers at the start of the episode 😆. It was so funny and cute ⭐️. And it was great to see the child in Anurag come out 🤗. I really loved the scene, typical behaviour of boys🤣 ! Our wish of not getting any interaction between the brothers was fulfilled 😃 Awww, but the ending has me really dreading tomorrow's episode 🤔. I am preparing myself for heartbreak, got to keep my tissue box at the ready 😭. Poor Taani! 😭
