I think it is time that Ritesh should be brought to justice now, or he should be taught a lesson where-by he changes himself for the good.
Eight years ago we learned that he had misrepresented his identity and his character. He has been acting as a shylock between the two families, and also between his in-laws, in-order, to gain financially himself. He also manipulates Annanya, his own wife for his selfish reasons.
Anu's father is a matured and experienced business man. By now he must have developed a sixth sense/ intuition/ reasoning (atleast that's what happens in the real world) to understand people better, in-order, to be a successful business man in India. He should sense that Ritesh is trying to keep him at a distance from Anurag and Robin. Also Anu's father should not forget what Taani's father (his + 20 yrs of friendship) had told him about Ritesh's unpleasant activities.
Ritesh's calling the police in his own mobile identifying as Taposh and complaining about Robin is a big offence. Taposh sensed it , but annoying to see that instead of telling it to Anurag or someone responsible he goes and tells it to Ritesh -like shooting a tiger on his feet and setting him free. I hope Taposh, one who is fighting for justice is intelligent enough to pursue the matter - contact the police and find out whose mobile number it was, and jointly with the police should approach Anurag or his father to expose Ritesh. This way it will also raise the image of the Indian police force (which by the way is always shown as a poor image).
I think now is the time to deal with Ritesh- either expose his intentions, or change him for the good.
Ritesh's evil activities/ manipulation should not be too overpowering, so that the story looses it's focus from the wonderful concept of 'Tere Liye' (self sacrifice) to manipulation, revenge and more evils.... We have/ and are seeing too many of these evil serials.

to keep the story moving forward they do need ritesh character to be in focus....
then...it will be interesting and all.....but i do hope they don't overdo it
that we all lose interest......
but then taposh doen't really like anu or his dad
maybe that is the reason he didn't go to them...

The creatives need to be innovative here. Taposh is a person who looks for justice. He doesn't like Anu and his dad, because Anu's father has been unfair to Taposh's family. In general Taposh was very close to Anu's father - infact, 8 yrs ago when Taposh went to jail, Anu's father brought him out.
So the creatives could use Taposh' sense of justice + police investigation = expose Ritesh for misrepresenting information to the legal authorities.
