My Introduction

Hello guys, I am Committed or aka Sakshi. I read all the 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' FF's (well mostly all) and nearly all the 'Tere Liye' as well. So I decided to make an FF and share it with you guys. But the good news is, it includes members from 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil' and 'Tere Liye'! I saw many debates that 'Harshad Chopra' aka 'Prem' or 'Anurag' only looks good with 'Additi Gupta' aka 'Heer' or 'Pihu', but I guess we can't do anything about it because 'Anupriya Kapoor' was signed up for the contract of the role 'Taani' rather than 'Additi'. So let's try and move on but this FF will include, Heer, just for you guys..

Four Strangers: A brief introduction

Four Strangers is a story evolving around four individuals who meet with different circumstances and face the up's and down's of life while their journey of love. The path which they have chosen, isn't easy and is filled with pain and agony but if the support of their partner remains then the path can be crossed with ease.

Introducing, the first stranger; Anurag, a handsome, alluring, man whose only ambition in his life is to become the best businessman ever. He hasn't thought in depth about his future but despises any kind of company related with girls. Although he is a strong believer of his god, Anurag barely gets time to worship and pray as all the responsibilities are bound on his shoulder. Not partially close to his family but only to his mother as he can share everything with her. Anurag has a twin brother named Prem, whom he never follows his ways. Will Anurag ever pay attention to his love life or will he continue living his strict life style?

The second stranger; Prem, simply dashing like his brother, Prem's ambition in life is to be a good businessman and settle down with his 'True Love'. Prem is a huge fan of fantasies and thinks that such princesses also exist in the world. Not a very strong believer in religion, he asks help from god when he is needy for something otherwise he doesn't step a foot in the temple. Extremely close to his secretaries, Prem enjoys flirting with them yet he claims himself as not so grumpy as Anurag. Will Prem find his 'True Love' or will he...

Moving on to the third stranger; Taani, a pretty, simple middle caste girl who wants to move along with the rhythm of the life and not think much ahead. As for her ambitions, she enjoys doing small jobs which can be enough to cover up her small needs. Concurrently, she lives alone in Kolkata while her family is living in Siliguri, a place where they moved long ago. A strong believer in religion, Taani detests any kinds of short outfits and sticks to her dress code which is decent and sensible. Taani has always had an imaginary picture of how her 'True Love' will be like and hopes to find it the same way. Will Taani get her 'True Love' the way she wants or...

The fourth and final stranger; Heer, a gorgeous, attractive upper caste girl who wants to enjoy life with drinks and short dresses. Pampered and well raised up, Heer is very spoilt and wants to have everything set her way. Although she is a best friend of Taani, she always enjoys giving her lectures about changing her looks. Heer loves dating and doesn't believe in anything which is connected with 'Love'. She hardly pays attention to the idols which are in her house and believes 'God should only be remembered, when needed'. Will Heer ever change her way or will she remain the same?

Shot 1

She sat at the desk, fully engrossed with what she was penning there like usual. The two sniggering girls walked past the door giving a rude point to her like everyday. There was not a single desk which didn't have that imprinted on it and no one else had space to imprint their lover's name on it.

Lifting her tearful eyes off the table, she ran her fingers on his name and then down to her's which seemed to bring joy to her whenever their names were connected. Rising from the hard seat, she gave one last glance to the desk which read;

Anurag
Loves
Taani

She knew it that every desk was filled with the same sentence but she wouldn't stop. She would rather spend her entire life writing that but no one could stop those three words flowing from her mouth. It was becoming a daily need for her and more than food and water, she lived on these three words; Anurag Loves Taani...

Stumbling out of the empty classroom, her mind turned back into a flashback when she had seen him go, when she had seen him walk out with her leaving her heartbroken...

*Flashback*

He pulled her away from the hug, smiling down at her tearful gaze, not a single regret on his face as he clasped his hand with Nupur's who was grinning happily while keeping Anurag in check in case he got too close.

"Taani, this trip was the best one of my life. You have really helped me and Nupur to get back together," said Anurag glancing at Nupur and throwing his million dollar smile at her. "Next month is our wedding and we'll try to fix it here in Kolkata.."

Shaking her head while trying to stop herself trembling, she murmured "No, Anu. Anything which is suitable to you and Nupur -"

Interrupting, Nupur stepped forward still grinning "Come on, Taani! Of course, the wedding will be in Kolkata. You have to attend and you will attend.." They both glanced at each other, the smile which was once used to be her's was now someone else's...

"This is a flight announcement. Flight Number 203 which is heading to New York has now arrived. Please can all passengers board to the flight on Terminal C. Thank you.." announced the announcer and immediately movement was sensed around her.

"Taani. We have to go now. Our flight's arrived.." said Anurag pulling her into a hug but it was incomplete as Nupur pulled him away too soon. Taani didn't feel one bit guilty, she knew Nupur had the right over him and she wasn't going to snatch Anu's happiness from him.

Watching them disappear behind the glass door, she felt her heart clench and a sudden urge to call him back but a comforting hand placed it's arm around her as she melted into him deeply sobbing. It was Subodh, her best friend who was there with her in times of need and comfort.

"Taani. We should go now.." suggested Subodh dragging her away while she kept looking back in hope that he would return, he would come rushing back to her and hold her but it was too late. He was gone...

*End of Flashback*

Five fingers lingered in front of her face, startling her from her thoughts. It had often happened to her, she would start thinking about him any second, any minute, any hour of her life and then someone just had to interrupt her.

"Taani!" yelled the impatient girl shaking her from her shoulders. "What's wrong with you, Taani? I have been standing here for the last five minutes observing you but you seemed to be lost..."

Blinking away the tears, Taani meekly shook her head replying "No, Heer. I was just thinking that I should be going home.."

"You bet, you should! Your brother called up five times already. And it's nearly six 'o' clock in the evening.." complained Heer linking her strong arm with Taani's weak one. If Taani had only one person she can trust, it was Heer, her best friend.

Heer was a flamboyant kind of girl who was gaga about make-up and hot celebrities whom she liked to watch. Taani had often become the victim of her loud rock music concerts which she had dragged her to come and watch with her.

"Here we go again! Miss Taani Chatterji is lost again!" announced Heer angrily to the passing by girls who simply sniggered. "Taani, why can't you just get over Anurag? You seem to chant his name as if he is god!"

"Heer - how did you know -" gasped Taani as Heer rolled her eyes whenever she was fed up and bored. Was it written on her face or were her eyes too easy to read?

"Taani! You write the same sentence on every desk, so what do you expect?" she snorted dragging her to the entrance as a black gleaming car stood in front of the stairs. "I heard, this Anurag guy has a twin brother? Who's he?"

"Prem. I never met him though but of course, he must look like Anurag.." shrugged Taani as she sat in the leather car seat gently pushed forward by Heer who ordered the driver to Taani's house. The whole journey went by with Heer quipping about make-up and how boring school lives were.

"Ol right, Taani. See you then.." said Heer not peeking from her compact kit as Taani clambered out of the car. It immediately took off as Taani watched it sped past the yards..

Prem sighed pushing the glass door, stepping into his brother's cabin who seemed engrossed in the files. Ergh! For once why can't Anurag think about himself? All he wanted was files, files, files..

"Anurag!" he moaned dumping himself in the client chair as Anurag looked up from his files, revealing his chocolate brown eyes. "Why can't you just tell her?" complained Prem as the colour faded away from his face.

"Prem! Not that discussion again. I told you - Taani has moved on," he replied holding up the file to his face again as Prem pulled his curls angrily disagreeing.

"No she hasn't, Anurag. And what if she hasn't?" he asked taking the file away from him and holding it away at an arm's length. "Tell me - what if she hasn't?"

"Prem! Hand it over now!" demanded Anurag standing up and reaching over while knocking the photo frame which landed on the floor. He immediately stopped prying for his file and turned his attention to the broken glass frame. It was Taani's and he felt a sudden urge to slap hard across his face but only her smile controlled him.

"Prem!" he roared anger seeping through him as he picked up the pieces of glass carelessly not caring about his fingers. "Get out now!"

"Ma says 'If a glass breaks, it is inauspicious..'" said Prem standing up. "Maybe you should go back and see if she is okay?" He placed the file on the table moving to the door leaving Anurag thoughtful.

"If you do change your mind, give me a call.." smiled Prem and he walked out as Anurag ran his fingers across the picture. He couldn't believe that he had denied her love and walked out with someone undeserving, someone he despised now, someone he thought would be his love, that someone was Nupur.

*Flashback*

"Nupur! What's the meaning of all this?" he cried thrusting the file on the bed facing her feeling like a volcano which was about to erupt any minute, any second. "Who's pregnancy reports are these?"

"They are mine, god dammit! I was drunk - that night.." she cried recklessly throwing the hanger on the floor which she was holding. "And damn you, Anurag. If only you would've come, this wouldn't have happened!"

"Damn me? God dammit! Why the heck didn't you say it there and then?" he blurted angrily catching hold of her arms which were moving vigorously to pile the cloths neatly. "Why such lie and why such betrayal!?" he yelled across her face.

"God dammit, Anurag! I didn't know until now when the morning sickness started!" she erupted escaping her arms from his ruthless clutch. "I thought you'd stand by my side and support me!"

"Support you? After all this, you want me to support you?" he cried pushing her away from himself. "We're not even wedded and you already come home three weeks pregnant!"

There was only silence, tears escaping both their eyes and then she suddenly felt as if she should advise him his real path. And she did and that night, everything changed for him. He felt as if he was only Taani's and since then he only thought about her..

*End of Flashback*

Dialling the number on his mobile phone, he waited desperately until Prem picked up. "Book two tickets to Kolkata. One yours and one mine. We're going.."

"Yes! Finally you -"

The phone went dead as Anurag couldn't be bothered to hear his showing off and flattering and leaned back and thought 'Can't wait to see you again, Mishti..' A smile moved across his lips and he closed his eyes and drowned himself in her thoughts..
